Popular Post Stranglelove
Hi, everybody. I'm starting the new year off with the third Striped Skulker fireteam from the December unit: I followed the same basing I wasn't crazy about to keep the unit cohesive. I also completed an Armored Whelk fireteam: I like their basing more, but I'll add more water effects to the next one. Really enjoying all the different paint schemes and perspectives in this thread. Y'all continue to inspire me.
Popular Post Kogan Style
OOOHHHHH WEEEEE! Its month one and I am already limbo dancing my way under the deadline! Work sure likes to get in the way, but here are my humble offerings: Nexus and her 2 totems for 19ss! Loving the thread though, so many different styles on display 😍 and the core box is finished for a grand total of 0ss to hire 😆
Popular Post Gheist
Deadline Limbo is the done thing in my Opinion. I know i said Cadmus but i painted Wastrel. Had a lot to do and have been directly hit be Corona so needed to paint something that i didn't think as important. was great fun though, Hucksters are awesome models and have never painted Horses before (which shows). Nevertheless i am okayish with this for 69 SS total this month
Popular Post wobbly_goggy
Third and final banjonista and the 3 together. Won’t get anything else finished in 2 days, so that’s it for this month!
Popular Post Hawkoon
Done painting these guys for 12SS this month. The bases are a bit boring for now, but I'm waiting for some pumpkins to visually bind them together with my other Rotten Harvest models.

Popular Post Diddick
Hi there! First of all, I love tt see that this thread has 4 pages already, and full of participation and really good paint jobs, this year s challenge is looking great! ❤️ here’s my pledge for january, a shikome & a he-kome maintaining the creepy style i’ve been doing on the urami crew. Now time to work on sth else before startning on the february pledge!
LinenMusician
It was a strange month in terms of painting minis - finished 2 flesh constructs and kentaroi in first few days of January, but this gravedigger waited so long to be painted. Also as part of my procrastination not to finish gravedigger painted few extra minis - sparks, alt rail worker and Mei’s totem. Next month I will definitely paint less minis but trying with quality because I’m not really happy how my guys look now, strange feeling 🤥
Magnus
Finished my pledge and knocked out another keyword. Now to get English Ivan on the table one of these days.
Popular Post Brushgit
Upping my Soulstone count once more for this month. Sadly I wasn't able to finish the whole keyword but this golem took quite a big bite out of my free time
Cats Laughing
I've been mostly doing MCP this month, so I only got one Malifaux model done, but Miss Guided (alt Fuhatsu) is a good number of stones, so meets my pledge level of Enforcer. Will add to the pledge spreadsheet later.
Popular Post Strangely Brown
Added another few models in for this month - finished all owned augmented models (just missing riotbreakers & medical automatons) and have completed Chimera & Kin keywords with these raiders and molemen 👍🏻
Ghulaf5420
Squeaking in at the last minute with my pledge. Finished Austera and Twigge, The Archivist, and a Botanist for 21 SS.
Boomstick
Wow, looking great everyone! Great start to the year. I had a good start to the month, getting Harata done early, and made good progress on my other three pledged models despite a few bits of life cropping up (also why I couldn't get to my light box), but they're not quite there and will shift to February. Still, 9ss gets me my pledge, and my Performer crew is happy to have him available.

Popular Post Viruk
@feagaur - lovely work on the green flames @WouterR - one of the (few) advantages of quarantine is the extra time you get, fingers crossed for solid progress here! @Maciej - looking even better with more details / highlights and static grass. @Hobby Wyrd - nice colors, only the base left now, and fingers crosses you continue to stay in the challenge @Stranglelove - really like how organic these look, clearly some inspiration in some natural species @Kogan Style - excellent work on the crew and I'm sure you'll lose some friends once they hit the table @Gheist - very nice, clean paintjobs with excellent work on texture on horses - turned out great! @wobbly_goggy - I'd probably push for some more vivid colors but then these muted shades look great too! @Hawkoon - these look mean! Excellent work @Fairyteller - dark and gritty, I like them a lot! @Diddick - really like the dark color scheme, they look straight outta old horror movie, great job! @LinenMusician - nice balance between quality and quantity here, can't wait to what you show next month. @Magnus - pale bright colors work really well here @Brushgit - your works are always a joy to see and Whiskey Golem is no exception. Absolutely top-notch stuff! @Cats Laughing - solid work here, maybe you could consider applying another layer of wash/glaze to reinforce the colors but looks really good already! @Strangely Brown - very nice, smooth highlights and really clean paintjob @Ghulaf5420 - looking at your works makes me really want to paint the Botanist, you've done him justice with excellent brushwork. @Boomstick - great work on the water / magic effect Well, I did manage to get above 100 soulstones with these two lovely dancing ladies for Mama Z 2. I finished them last night so a total of 102 soulstones in January 10
Popular Post muraki
Painted a couple of puppet riders this month, which is good as they're fun models, but I also wanted to only paint 1 a month to make sure I wasn't trying to figure out what to paint, haha. While I enjoyed painting them, I am a bit disappointed that I decided to paint them semi-similar to the pro painted ones, which just shows how far off I am, ha.

Super stoked to see someone tackle these. I too was thinking of purchasing those inserts to help "bulk" them up (ie: fill all that 50 mm space ) Glad to see this, and I really like your take on them
OctaBit
@muraki Love the horsemen models! I've got the older ones based in a similar fashion. I particularly like your solution to the mech riders base, haha.
