I have absolutely no idea what I want to paint in February. I was so blown away by all the great models in January! I really think I need to tackle something new. I might just try to get some of Brine and Bones painted.

Finished my pledge and knocked out another keyword. Now to get English Ivan on the table one of these days.

For January I'm going to finish the Umbra keyword stuff that I have, 2 Specters and the other two Nocturnes. Should give me about 26ss for the month. My brushes of choice are always Kolinsky sable I have Vallejo and Raphael along with some I picked up at GENCON a few years back. Well cared for they will last for years. I use Windsor Newton brush cleaner and restorer every now and then. A good soak (be sure only the brush with a little metal is in the wash otherwise it will dissolve the glue that holds the metal on).

Well I made my pledge for December and completed the challenge again for a second year. @Caedrushere's 23 total soulstones for the month, 10ss for the Motor Scout, 8ss for Gibson Dewalt and 5ss for the Nocturne. I hated this miniature, very difficult to paint the rider, sometimes preassembled isn't the best idea! That said it was my last miniature to complete my 2021 goal of a completely painted The Other Side army and here it is in all it's glory. Here's Gibson, a fun miniature to paint. And finally a Nocturne, did some testing here with diluted contrast paints, I'm happy with the result. To @Caedrus, thank you for everything, the last couple years were extremely productive painting wise. I really enjoyed the challenge. To everyone, Happy New Year and thank you for sharing your talent and kind feedback.

@CaedrusFirst off, thank you so much for all your efforts. I wish you all the best with the family and hope you’ll continue to showcase your great painting skills. For December I’m going to finish my last two pieces for my Other Side King’s Empire. I will meet my 2021 goal of a fully painted army. I’ll probably do a couple small things here and there to round off some keywords for some Malifaux crews. I love having options and nothing beats fully painted crews on the table. This my second year in the challenge and I’m very proud of my shelves (as in plural) of fully painted miniatures. Thank you to all for the encouragement.

So many beautiful miniatures this month. I had a slow month for all things Wyrd but a very productive month painting some of my other passions. I did make my pledge @CaedrusI did 23ss for the month (Eva for 7ss and the two Geryons for 16ss). I didn't really try the challenge but it was a good one. I'm a slow painter over all. Here are some pics:

I love the challenge, not sure yet what I'll choose but... it's on like Donkey Kong. I do plan on finishing two more pieces for my King's Empire and with that I will meet my goal of having a fully painted army by the end of 2021. That's a full two leader army and pretty much all I have minus one unit I don't really like that much. I know the majority here play/paint Malifaux but if you haven't tried the Other Side it really is a great game. I'm really hoping that the new two player starter set and all the cross game miniatures creates some additional buzz for the game.

@CaedrusNot a super productive month, at least for all things Wyrd. I got distracted by other toys this month. I did manage to meet my pledge. Here's English Ivan (15ss) and Mr Mordrake (6ss) 21ss total for October. I'll strive to be more productive in November as I have a few things I want to finish before the years out.

Going to finish English Ivan's crew this month. Also want to finish the last couple pieces for my King's Empire Army. I really want to meet my 2021 goal of having a completely paint Other Side Army.

Well I made my bare minimum on the pledge this month. I did have a super strong August and a lot of distractions (work, new games and life). @CaedrusHere are my three Daeva's for September. That's 21ss for the month. I'm hoping to finish the rest of the crew in early October. Thanks again to @Stranglelovefor taking the pictures. I think they came out nice and spooky if I say so myself.

I need a break from The Other Side, I’ll be working on English Ivan this month really want to add an Explorer Society band to my Malifaux collection of painted stuff.

A strong August showing for me despite starting a new job. I finished a second unit of rifleman for my King’s Empire, that’s 45ss along with the 30ss for the artillery piece. My total for August is 75ss. The King’s Empire is almost complete only a couple small units to do. Thanks again to @Stranglelovefor the pictures.

It was a challenging piece and I'm really happy with the outcome. Hope you enjoy. Only a few things left and I can play a fully painted King's Empire Force. Hopefully the new Other Side starter set will increase the popularity of this great game.

@CaedrusYou take care as well, thanks again for helping to make this happen. It's so fulfilling to get stuff painted and I really look forward to seeing everyone else's amazing work. I'll have to think about my "great white whale" but in the meantime I'm going to try and knock out two more units for the King's Empire. This might let me play a fully painted army against @Stranglelove's beautifully painted Cult of the Burning Man.

Here's my King's Hand for my ever growing army for the Other Side. I feel like I completed the monthly challenge as well as I really struggle painting big models and this is by far the biggest piece I've ever painted. @Caedrus that's 25ss for the month. I'm going to knock out a bit more in August. July was a busy month as I started a new job and the wife was visiting her parents for a week so I got to take care of the dog and the puppy!

I'm going to keep working on my King's Empire, getting closer to a fully painted force. I'll keep thinking about the challenge. Not sure what I'd like to tackle this month.

@Diddick I'm a 100% sure you can change your monthly pledge (models you thought you were going to do). If not I'd have been eliminated last year 😉 Even at 58 I have the attention span of a gnat. At least now I can blame it on senility.

Finished my June pledge early. Here are my Infiltrators and Margaret for my King’s Empire army. Once more thanks to @Stranglelovefor his photographic expertise. That’s 60ss for the month, (15ss for Margaret and 45ss for the nine Infiltrators). I’m still hoping to get the Titan finished by the end of the month.

My finished Empire Dragoons, it really makes me want to finish up the army. I would love to play a fully painted two Master battle against @Strangleloveand his Cult of the Burning Man. Thanks again to him for the pictures.

I'm pledging more King's Empire for the Other Side. I'm hoping to do Margaret Belle (leader) and the King's Hand (Titan). That said I really want to get back to Malifaux. So many choices so little time. Have a wonderful June everyone.

I finished the last three Empire Dragoons for my King's Empire army. That's 30ss for the month. I have to wait on @Stranglelovefor some picture later today. I have no idea what I'm doing for June. I really want to do more stuff for The Other Side. My army is slowly coming along. PS As always some great stuff across the board!

Gotta finish the other half of the Empire Dragoons, they've been on the table for way too long. After that I'm not sure. Something for Malifaux but I have too many choices.

@Caedrus I finished my first half of the Empire Dragoons for The Other Side. I really hate cavalry models when the rider is attached. That's 30ss for the month. Pictures to follow when @Stranglelovecan help me. I promise to finish the other half of the unit during the first part of May. I really want to get them off the painting table. Of course that will make me want to work on more of the army as I really want to get it done for 2021 but also want to get back to Malifaux. April was a brutal month, here's hoping for a better May. That said there was some great painting for the month. I love seeing everyone's progress.

It looks like March will be now referred to as Mulligan March (same as last year). I did a ton of painting just not enough Wyrd stuff. Hopefully I can start off strong in April and make up the difference.
