Popular Post Kyle
Hey Wyrdos, We just got back from Adepticon and while we were gone, we found Waldo making a house of cards. Amazingly enough, it was in the shape of Nicodem’s mortuary. As soon as we told him that we were impressed, he dropped another house of cards on it, and then set them on fire. Huh, fitting. Anyway, now that we’re all out of cards in the office, we thought it might be an opportune time to release TWO new Fate Decks! And they’re available for print-on-demand on DriveThruRPG… RIGHT NOW! The first Fate Deck is none other than the Pixel Fate Deck! Take a trip down nostalgia lane to travel back in time (or forward in time, if you’re stuck in Malifaux…) to when the greatest in graphical technology was 16-bit sprites. You can get your hands on the Pixel Fate Deck for only $12.00 by following this link. The second Fate Deck is the Saloon Fate Deck, which was drawn by one of the community’s favorite fan artists, and we are excited to finally have it available. The artist took a fun and burlesque approach to some of Malifaux’s leading characters. You can find this mature-themed (as in not for the young or faint of heart) Saloon Fate Deck for only $12.00 by following this link. Both of these fantastic Fate Decks were made by members of our community; the Pixel Fate Deck was created by Milos Kostic and the Saloon Deck was created by Felis Ryltha. To get your hands on both of them, head over to DriveThruRPG.com. Expect to see more of these decks coming out of our vault in the future! 10 1

Boomstick
These are gorgeous! I'm so glad to see Wyrd not only putting out more deck, but excellent fan-made decks!
muraki
Not bad, ordered. I assume the pin up one is just female masters? If so, kinda a missed opportunity to add some diversity. Maybe could release a separate male deck?
Count Zero
Any chance to see more cards? I'd like to see the other cards before buying. Edit: the decks are plastic or cardboard?

Da Git
Love the decks! But need some more info... What's the material? If we're overseas, how much is shipping?
avmezhenov
amazing! What about material?

You can check shipping from drivethrurpg. Shipping included it's a bit over 24€ for single deck to my location. 54€ for three decks+shipping, or 18 per person if I get a threeway going on. Customs may or may not screw that completely... Assuming material is the same (or better) as my errata cards from few years ago, I'll seriously consider getting a deck so long as I can split the costs with others. Da Git
Damn, it's more expensive for shipping than the deck... Hope there are alternatives for those not in the States... Maybe put them in as part of the Easter/Gencon/Black Friday sales... DriveThru's good for Pdfs, not great for a physical product if this is what it costs for shipping
Chou
Loved the pixel one, I guess it's time to put a joint order to share the expenses (24.50 dollars for Europe, plus 12 dollars for the deck it's a total of 20 dollars, still a reasonable price if you ask me). Caedrus
For the Australia-based folks interested in this product, I would certainly go in for a group-purchase to save on postage. Just a thought.
StefMcGlen
sad that this isn't a real release of decks, they look pretty awesome (pixel one i'm looking at you especially) but again with the issues of international shipping it's probably a no go. on the plus side, its great that you guys are doing this with your community and encouraging artists! big thumbs up. now where's the iconic Fate deck? Nathan Caroland
I'm going to reach out about the shipping - that just frankly sounds like crap that needs to be fixed. It's not trying to slip in one of those plastic tuck boxes on you, is it?

Popular Post Nathan Caroland
Tuckbox that they are talking about is paper - like you would get around any deck of cards you buy in the store. In the past, I know that there were plastic storage boxes that could get added in if you didn't uncheck the option. I think we went back in and made certain those weren't even an option any longer, but I do know that it was adding to cost in the past. In the meantime, I have reached out to Onebookshelf about the shipping as frankly, I agree with y'all. I know what it would cost us to ship out a single deck of cards and it shouldn't be anywhere near double the price unless it was going out via FedEx international. Working on it, no clue if we'll be able to affect anything directly about it though. 3
Count Zero
What about the cards themselves? They should be plastic as arcane decks or cardboard as old ones? Now I'm used to play plastic decks whitout sleeves and playing again with an sleeved deck... No thanks, hahaha.
Gnomezilla
Thank you for looking out for us on shipping, but since the prices on USA->international shipping have this year shot up to over $10 on thin flat paper envelopes alone (I have had to mail a sewing pattern and got a shock) I haven’t much hope. Can’t decide which deck to get—maddening!

Not plastic unless we're printing these ourselves directly.
oistene
Really appreciate it, Nathan, was just balking at the shipping. It seriously can not cost that much to send a little letter over the pond, and if it does they need to get a better deal on their shipping rates. Nathan Caroland
Talking with them at the moment - they are looking into it. I would be really helpful if some of yall could send screenshots (I'd get rid of personal information other than the country it's going to) so that I have something to pass along to them. Thanks! Cleezy
Great decks and good to hear you guys are discussing the shipping with them, I wish you guys would do a small print run as the coated/treated decks are so much better than card (even premium card) - that’s just my personal preference though

If they are cardboard/paper, I will pass since I don't think they will survive...
