Engorn
I'm not going to stop right now, so here's the rest of minis I'm pledging for February. The ice gamins are what I intend to paint to fulfill the challenge. I believe I can paint the three of them in a single day.

Three LaCroix raiders for 15ss and Sir Charles Edmonton (15ss) for 30ss total. I'm still working on some Dragoons for my King's Empire Army. I'm hoping to get the unit done by the end of the month. Popular Post Diddick
Hi there! today i did 2 bone piles (12SS), i stuck to the february challenge rules, and built & painted them in one day: Here's the result: And some of the wips: It was a fun thing to do, the hardest part was to find a whole day when i could focus 100% on painting without getting in trouble

Ja9nge
I have constructed and painted a couple of Bayou houses from Balsa wood. I also made a couple of barricades. How many points are they worth?
trikk
My february challenge is going horrible. I have a hard time getting any work done. I managed to sneak in a Union Miner recently, but I still have 3 days so fingers crossed! EDIT: not super happy about Saboteur but will do. @Caedrus I have 2 Union Miners and a Saboteur. 15SS

Harlekin
A little update and upgrade. Not much painting done, this week. But I finished my bases for the Redchapel keyword and wanted to share some pics.
Popular Post Caedrus
Caedrus, reporting in! Greetings All. First of all, an apology: I've been rather absent this month, as real life got in the way. However, I have had a chance to finish off a few models, and to do some much-needed touch-ups on a few models as well. I'll be updating the tallysheet this weekend (hopefully), and giving some feedback, as well. Of course, the March Challenge page will go up as well! For the moment, though, here's what I painted! 10SS of Hodgepodge Emissary. This guy. Wow. So much detail. However, I was thinking of littering the base with trinkets and junk to reflect his abilities. What do you think? My favourite bit of this miniature was working out a technique for copper NMM (see the kettle for the result). You see, I had a need to work out a copper NMM for another project... 9SS of Alt Barbaros. Quite a nice miniature. So, in my own personal Neverborn lore, I avoid having the Nephilim and Fae use iron and steel. Obviously, I needed some other metal armour, and I decided to go with copper. I'd love to hear your opinions on it! Of course, Barbaros wields a macuahuitl, which is (essentially) a club with obsidian chips and blades stuck in it; nothing like the ridiculous sword he has in this sculpt. So, in deference to the lore, I tried to paint the sword as being made of obsidian. Did it work? My last regular mini of the month was a continuation of my Outcast Versatiles, being 8SS of Alternate Vanessa! That swirling flame effect makes it a touch challenging to photograph. Once again, white ink was used for the flame's brightest point, and I messed about with a little freehand on the cloak as well. Finally, my One-Day-Miniature Challenge! I painted 8SS of Rafkin today. Overall, happy with the job on a miniature that I am unlikely to use (Rowan Nillson is a much prettier miniature). I was happy with the quick NMM. The OSL was a little heavy handed (I was using a Citadel effect paint I hadn't used before), and the skin is a little rough. However, fun was had, so that's a win! So, 35SS for the shortest month of the year. I'll take it! I would love to hear your feedback and comments! Caedrus.
lusciousmccabe
@Caedrus Macuahuitl defintely looks like rock/crystal of some sort. Although with some minor tweaking you could have a cool lightning sword. Palette really reminds me of this. Is the copper armour a bit shiny? Some spots look completely spot-on (left leg plate for example) but some parts have light reflecting in the shadows that give it more of a plastic kind of fell. Rafkin is fucking class for a speed paint. Glow looks fine apart from being too strong on his face. NMM on the knife is convincing and stylish, as are the shoe buckles (seriously, that much effort on a shoe buckle?) and all the different fabrics have amount of contrast and finish to them. Fair play to you!
Popular Post Maogrim
So, @Caedrus, did the one-day-challenge and am ready to hand in the results: Just a Depleted, but I think he turned out alright. EDIT: Forgot to add that this jolly little chap puts me at 18 Stones for the month. Yeah, sure, that's nearly as impressive compared to what others are pumping out, but slow and steady wins the race, and I don't want to run out of stuff to paint if supply chain difficulties in Western Europe continue through the year.

Actually I painted the Mysterious Effigy too, but I didn't post a before picture. It is worth 4ss, so, if it counts, the should be 82ss instead of 78ss.
