  1. nothing. you've been playing against gremlins. ;-) Jokes aside, I would bring some movement tricks for sure. I find a dead doxy an indispensable model in every crew. Anna as a counter for his movement tricks also sounds legit. Zipp and the First Mate make interact-based schemes hard to score, and since Reva is pretty mobile I would go for Undercover Entourage. I don't know what the terrain and deployment were, but with that scheme pool I would rather hire one necropunk to score claim jump or two crooligans to mark his models for death (although Zipp may disrupt that easily). Note that I try to avoid Claim Jump with Standard Deployment. My Lil' Helper on Bete may not work particularily well, since her damage spread is low and it's difficult for her to kill most models in one activation, so she basically gets no/not enough protection from it. If Undercover Entourage is in the pool and your opponents plays Zipp, you may safely assume that he will try to accomplish this particular scheme. It means s/he will play Zipp safely, so you can take some advantage from it. Moreover, Zipp's survival will be crucial for your opponent, so you might consider putting some pressure on the Sky Pirate. Having said that, it is obvious that the strategy and scheme pool heavily favourized Zipp over your crew.
  2. Holy faux... this is absolutely stunning. You're among my gods of painting.
  3. where are the pics from this week? publish or face the angry mob! we, the poeple of Rome, demand PANEM ET IMAGINES!
  4. ok, the guild is going to be my third faction.
  5. From what I have seen, Hodgepodge Emissary works pretty well in Viks crew - he gives you an additional push and serves as a scheme runner. The absolute must-have is an Effigy: it's virtually at least one soulstone per turn. Malifaux Child is also commonly seen in Victorias' crew, since he can use that pesky action that increases damage dealt by sisters.
  6. bring Rusty Alice and A&D to turn his weak summons into aboms.
  7. Finally Seamus has some synergy with himself ;-) really glad to see that upgrade.
  8. Seriously, this is the coolest thing in the whole game. And it has nothing to do with my profile picture, no. I want it so badly!
  9. I don't like my magnets being flush, it's harder to pick miniatures up from the box and it's easy to damage them in the process.
  10. never played Brewmaster, but played two games against Brewie with Whiskey Golem and I was not impressed. I'm pretty sure my opponent would have performed better if he had taken Izamu or Yasunori, that is a beater which is good in beating.
  11. The easiest and cheapest way to do this is to simply glue the magnets.
  12. No, absolutely not. It means only that they have "Horror" characteristic. Some Actions or Abilities work only if their target has specific characteristic. E.g. Molly, Ressurectionist master, has an access to the upgrade that lets her summon Horror Ressurectionist Minions.
  13. sorry for offtopic, but is that official ruling? we agreed in our community that you can't do that, because sensei Yu does not discard the cards.
  14. Yes, it's possible. There are some threads here on both Kirai and Yan Lo, I would recommend checking them out. Do you mean their crew boxes? If yes, then I am not so sure. Yan Lo can hire Onryo from Kirai's box, and that's all. Kirai don't need Ashigaru and probably don't need Chiaki. The model that is frequently used in both Kirai's and Yan Lo's crew is Izamu the Armor.
  15. That's up to you, but if you are going to buy two expensive boxes anyway, I would rather choose to buy Lynch and Emissary, and only then Misaki. first, because you can (and should) play emissary with both Lynch and Shenlong, second, because you can't play Misaki with Lynch nor Shenlong I mean, I don't know how many games per week are you going to play, but it may happen that you won't have enough opportunities to learn and enjoy both new masters. but, as I said, decision is yours. don't feel obligated to reply if you are not going to change your mind
  16. @Viruk my cat does exactly the same thing whenever he sees me painting.
  17. Where's the "Like" button when I need it? Splendid work man!
  18. While I have failed Horror duel :-/ (Resser player)
  19. have you tried aggresive Jack build: The bigger they are + Survivalist + Oathkeeper? there is nothing about avoidance in it and Jack can hit like a truck! (6 min. damage on the second attack).
  20. I know that there are people who like Samurai and play them with Shenlong, so it's up to the personal taste I think. I don't believe I would ever consider them though. Their ridiculous amount of positive flips makes them really good ace fishers for Lynch, and that's the only reason they are picked up in his crew I believe. Every good beater is good with Shenlong, beacuse he can make him even better: I am thinking of Kang, Ohaguro Bettari and Yasunori.
  21. Misaki loves Sensei Yu, so I would suggest her box as an addition to Shenlong. She offers different gaming experience, but simultaneously does not require too many models different from those you already have (like Lynch, who prefers Samurai over Snipers, Mei Feng, who likes Obsidian Onis and Mechanized Porkchops, Asami who needs something to summon etc.). As for unit boxes, Shadow Emissary is never bad for most TT masters. If it's too expensive, then maybe Shadow Effigy (staple in Misaki's crew) and Low River Monks (you will never use more than one though) or Yin the Penangalan (no particular synergy with Shenlong or Misaki, but her ability to prevent charging is always fine and opportunity to impose on enemy casters can drain their AP/soulstones - even more if they are going to attack her).
