  1. Its not so much about what hes really doing but what he could do. When placing hans I never forget to tell my opponent that he "could" shoot his upgrades off and ignores armor etc I'ts card-costy but the pure possibility is what matters... Combined with scout the field... it just forces some considerations on your opponent. I really like him for supporting and the versatility he brings to the table. (ignore incorp & armor, hand out slow)
  2. ONly when buried at end of game. Im still big fan of deso-engine. They have shooty crew? How do they wanna shoot when they have a desolation engine tearing their faces? Get the instinctual campaign upgrade for alice and maybe a obedient wretch model.
  3. I need to admit, i dislike Karina.... yes she can summon with a mid-high crow once a turn and only costs 5 SS... but... Obedient wretch can do so as well and better for a cheaper price. It happens like once a decade that I'm happy to have brought karina due to hgh crows to to the right time to summon sth that was game-supporting. I usually swap Karina for Obedient wretch, just a better model (my opinion). Its like: Do I have a high crow? Do I need this high crow for something else? Will the Summon be usefull this round? If not, can i spent another crow and an action of Tara to unbury it next Round? Is Karina still alive? You need to think for karinas summon that you actually need 2 high crows. One to summon and one to unbury the summoned stuff the next round. Obedient wretch can even be fed with the lowest crows and doest need the high cards you usually wanna use for other stuff anyway. Yes, Once you summon a Student of Viscera, she becomes very usefull but shes this kind of unreliable "can be very good, when lucky" gambler-models everyone dislikes in strategic games. The same goes for the Stonebash-trigger... She went too much into the gamble-zone to be reliable even when she could be strong. PPL dislike unreliable.
  4. I suppose. Each time you declare an action. So yes... channeling a charge and then channeling each of the attacks gives you ++ on the attack and damage. Sounds a bit broken and ridiculous... but thats Levi ;D
  5. As far as i know. yes, she can bury sth. -> reactivate unbury it. BUried models are considered "not in play" so they dont count towards the pool of units that have to activate before tara. Btw. Slkan seems not completely right. Yes, bured models dont count as having activated yet. In fact, buried models dont even count as models while being buried. And YES Tara can unbury killjoy after her reactivation. Its a common playstyle.
  6. Well, outcasts have "i pay better" and librarian-heals. Am I the only one who loves giving out focus and fast to trappers and hans? And the Hannah-bury-upgrade
  7. I love Tara, but i allmost allways play her with freikorps >.> The only use I can see in the nothing beast, which i do not use often , is to attack low willpower targets. Look at all the other nice beaters we can get, rusty, killjoy, deso engine, bishop, strongarm. Nothing beast is just overshined...

  15. I would allways prefer a shooting construct with self heal and heavy shooting and armor that could be reactivated by rusty alyce for the job of anchoring a waif. If just outcast had such a construct-monster But I can see Anna brought to good use if youd play her in an outcast-tara or outcast-vonschill crew with good synergies.

  17. Cant you use obey to let an enemy attack one of your own terryfying minions and let them loose the horror duel to make them paralysed for just one AP?
  18. The big question is... Oath keeper lets you "place" a marker upon death and amalgamation prevents you from "dropping" marker upon death. And dont tell me that dropping and placing is the same thing. Just lemme ask you if I may "place" a Stone on your head.

  21. According to the shifting loyalties campaign rules, summoned units disappear after the end of the encounter. This does make sense to restrict growing resser armies but does also cripple units that are supposed to resummon themself through their playstyle. Like Ashes and Dust. Scenario: I kill my Ashes&Dust round-1 to summon a Storm and a Core and then resummon Ashes&Dust at round-2. The problem: my round-2 Ashes&Dust counts now as "Summoned" and is going to disappear after the end of the game? This feels kinda strange. The same fits for the desolation engine. How do you handle it? DId I forget some rules that prevent my Ashes&Dust to disappear after just one encounter?
  22. What makes you think that Channel works the same way as Fokus? If it was supposed to be like "Focus"... why didnt they just call it focus instead of going through the work of giving it another name and another wording?Would you like to dive deeper into your explanaition?
  23. I was playing this WE and we were discussing how to use Levis Channel. I thought I could channel my charge and then get +to all duels and damage flips until the charge action is resolved. Means in that case: Declaring channeled charge (Charge action starts)->getting a +Flip to the "Terrifying Horror Duel"->Get +Flips to attack and Damage of first Action->Get +Flips to attack and Damage of second Action. ->Charge resolved (Charge action ends) All between the start and the end of the charge action should fall in the "during the remainder of the ability"-section, or shouldnt it? But they meant that I had to Channel for each attack once. Now I wanted to ask the Hivemind of Wyrdos to explain me how to use this old pedo gramp with his metal fetish correctly. "Channel:When declaring an Action, this model may suffer exactly 2 damage to gain + to all duels and damage flips for the remainder of the Action; the Action fails if this model is killed by this Ability." "Actions Causing Actions: Some Actions will force or allow a model to take another Action. If an Action calls for another Action to be taken (such as Charge or "Make A New Entry") then the additional Action or Actions do not cost any AP. The original Action is not considered resolved until the new Actions are also resolved. Some Abilities may force models to do something when declaring an Action (such as taking a duel for Manipulative). For these Abilities, each new Action generated triggers the Ability separately."
  24. When Hannah buries stuff with her void record, places the void marker (30mm) and then walks on top of the void marker with her 50mm base... what happens at the end of the turn? "Place a 30mm Void marker in base contact with target model. The target is then buried. At the end of the Turn, unbury the target in base contact with the Void Marker, then remove the void marker from play. This Action cannot be taken while a Void Marker is in play" So... what happens? 1, Target just unburies in base contact with hannah because shes blocking the Void Marker and the target cant unbury in base contact with the Void marker? 2. poor dude has to w8 another turn to get unburied? 3. the unbury effect doesnt come to effect but the void marker gets removed anyways? burying the target permanently?
