  1. I love Chain attack the podcast and it has one of the most interesting and unique styles in the podcast game. Essentially going over an actual battle report breaking it down and then rating the casters, match up, and sometimes even the players. We've been doing some tactically focused casting with our Cheated Fates Plus+flip and will continue to expand on it. I think its possible to do for Malifaux but while there isn't a real list chicken so to speak there is a list chicken going on at the faction level and determining what scheme your taking
  2. Agreed Bengt. Something like when this model suffers sever DMG it may discard 2 cards and summon a void wretch that suffers half a ads that cannot be reduced
  3. Molly gives me that special feeling and always tells me secrets
  4. They can be downloaded here http://wyrd-games.net/community/files/file/52-gaining-grounds/

  6. Sam is a damage machine, he makes me nervous. thus when i see him its a race to kill him.
  7. Congratulations on a successful league gang. Especially to mark who won the league by 3 achievement points. Great fun remember to join us every Wednesday evening for more malifaux fun. Should be doing a slow grow "rapid growth" league in July as well as a tournament
  8. I think its vital that there be rules for Races in the core book, how else can you accurately track speed in the game. Having the players unable to determine which of them wins in a race is key to all roleplaying games.
  9. Obligatory- Arcanists are OP! troll. Looked like a great Event dude-14 players and 2 gremlins excellent. Your lack of ressers Disturbs me can't wait to hear a recap on the show.
  10. No cheated fates radio love sad face
  11. Pulses don't effect the orgin point. Aura do but pulse don't
  12. So first off playing competitively isn't a bad thing. Having a poor attitude and people skills do. That out of the way. Playing competively is fun, it makes you look at the nature of winning and losing the game. Building list, the first step to playing more competively is Play what you know best! A huge and shocking revelation I'm sure. But what you take is often less important than getting maximum value of your model. And you tend to early in the learning curve of competitive. Play do better with models you already know and focusing on every thing they do well and what they suck at and what you can have them do INA pinch. 2nd most important lesson the game is built on VP acquisition every action should be helping me to earn vps while denying my opponent vps. 3rdly select schemes based on your ability to complete them.
  13. TTuco, graves, hooded rider, a young nephlim all better flank threats. Lelu I struggle to find value. And the twins together no thank you give me an illuminated and beckoner please

    Pale Rider

All this talk has me wanting to get the guild horseman list on the table, McCabe, lone Marshal and the dead rider
  15. I tend as a general rule to favor the punk zombie when hiring unless I'm sure what way my opponent will go on there crew construction. Playing nicodem the flexibility to summon the perfect iron zombie after I see the crew the hiring is less restricted. I think valedictorian is a very interesting henchman and should be considered more than she is at crew construction at least by me.
  16. Locally were lucky. We have a very diverse food culture within 3" miles I have 10 Indian restaurants, 10 middle eastern restaurants and 7 real Mexican places. Really spoile for choice
  17. Disengaging strikes only occur if a model takes a specific action called a walk action. leap isn't a walk action, it is a action that allows them to move there Cg ignoring models and terrain. pg44 of the Big Rule book states ...Only a Walk action will provoke Disengaging strikes. leap by definition isn't a walk action therefore no disengaging strike is generated.
  18. You pick your schemes at the start of the game but the intention of the scheme marker is lay revealed when you score on your selected s heme. I other words totally goal to place a s hem marker on the center line with the idea in your mind its for line in the sand and then as your opponentapproaches it to bblow it up for plant explosives
  19. Brewie works through the sheer volume of tests he forces at some point you run out of cards
  20. Line in the sand, bodyguard, protect territory, Take prisoner, Frame for Murder Reckoning Deployment Standard Special Rules-Infected Condition, A model with the Infected condition gains to attack & DMG flips on attack actions and to Defense Flips, If a model with the infected condition declares an action other than an attack action, it must discard a card.
  21. I'll be there about 5:30 game 2 tonight Big trouble n little 3 kingdoms. Reckoning Line in the san
