Harlekin
Aaaand at least, another two models done. In a rather quick and thus sloppy paint job but I wanted to finish those Bone Piles before 2021, so. https://ibb.co/JjKK70J Which flames do you like better?

Beautiful models, great detailed and the gold yellow bases are very original. Bravo! Thank you for the kind words, @Purple Mist!
Magnus
I finished my December pledge, 3x Piglets for 9ss, 3x Squealers for 15ss and the Sow for 8ss. Grand total of 32ss for the month. I'll get pictures tomorrow. I still have to put the finishing touches on the Sow. Going out to watch the neighbors blow things up!
Popular Post Caedrus
Caedrus, checking in for December! First of all, Happy New Year to my fellow Wyrd painters and friends! Second, as always, there have been some wonderful projects this month. Third, the almost-complete 2020 spreadsheet is here. Our Challenge painters completed 7,918 Soulstones of Wyrd miniatures in 2020! And fourth, I completed the Soulstone Miners for 12SS. I didn't make lots more progress on my Mercenary keyword, so that will go onto the January completion list! @Harlekin: I would never have the bravery to use such colours on those bone piles, but they’re gorgeous. I personally prefer the more teal, but they’re both delightful! @Stranglelove: I’m painting those very same models at the moment. I’ve gone with an utterly different look, but now I’m looking at yours, I’m pretty damn envious. Kudos. The alt Taelor is my fave, I think! Also, I love the bright yellows on Fat Cap! @Boomstick: Those models look like a child’s nightmare. That is to say, magnificent. I couldn’t tell you which is creepiest and thus the most wonderful! @Nikodemus: I’m painting some desaturated models at the moment, so I’m loving those models. Your friend is rather lucky! Those eyes are so angry! @Viruk: As always, lovely models. However, you’ve really captured Somer as the Avatar. He’s delightfully hedonistically smug. Such gorgeous colours. I love it. @astapable: I love the grittiness of your drills. I’m such a coward, I can never bear to make my models grubby and dirty! @lusciousmccabe: So, Colette was my first master, and I always have a soft spot for the performers. They’re all gorgeous, but I absolutely LOVE the back of the showgirl’s red and green skirt. Beautiful shading and gradients. Love it. @Purple Mist: The pale, low contrast Sorrows and Poltergeist are wonderful. Was that the GW ghost paint? @Diddick: Your mastery of OSL is only enhanced by your photography. I have to say, the crack along the Obsidian Statue’s belly is just perfect. Magnificent. And so with that (unless there are some late spreadsheet updates), I wish you all a wonderful New Year. It's been a truly strange year, and I'd like to thank every one of you for making it a better place to be! I hope to see you for next year's Painting Challenge, and have a great 2021! Caedrus. 6
Magnus
@Caedrus Here's my pics for December, once again thanks to @Stranglelovefor taking the great photos. Happy New Year all, here's hoping for a great 2021. Thanks again to @Caedrus for all the work. My box of shame is a little lighter and my cabinet of painted miniatures is a lot fuller.

Many & many thanks. It's not a GW paint. I airbrushed some thin layers of Vallejo Air paints from the military modellism range, mixing colours, too. Basically, you should try Nile Green paint + any blue paint + Dirty white or icovy paint, mixing them into the airblusher and proceeding on by a thin airbrush layering or glazing. Then, I used a lot of diluite washes from GSW and some dry brushing with white ivory paint.

muraki
I know it's pretty much a month late, but there were some issues around the holidays that ended up making it so I 1 didnt want to paint and 2 most of the stuff I painted for xmas got left places I couldn't see it / photo it. But figure I might as well post the pics I took xmas morning as that's the best I can do for the next few months. Before that, I did finish up more honeypot with Tannen grave and gwen And then finished up sonnia's keyword for @Sweet Tooth for xmas. So that was 95 for me for the month, not that it matters all that much with the contest ending.
