Popular Post Mason
Hey everyone! As some of you may have noticed, the Mounted Guards that we released at GenCon are at a different scale than our other miniatures. This was an unintentional mistake on our part, and if you purchased one of these sets, you have our apologies for not living up to the high standards you've come to expect from our company. In order to correct this mistake, we've pulled the Mounted Guards from our production schedule in order to get them resized to the proper scale. When the new and improved Mounted Guards return, they'll be properly sized and ready to take the fight to the Guild's enemies! If you purchased the Mounted Guards, then we will be taking steps to rectify our mistake and make it up to you. Please use the "Contact" button on our website and select the "Damaged / Mispacked Product" option to report your improperly scaled Mounted Guards, and once the correctly-sized Mounted Guards arrive, we will replace your product free of charge. Once again, your have our apologies for our mistake and our thanks for your patience as we sort this out. Our fans are the best, and we feel terrible for having let you down like this.
JDAntoine
This is incredibly nice news! Sorry to have bothered Aaron about it. Thank you and I will wait with my purchase, but will get them nontheless.

-Loki-
You know, I'm struggling to think of another wargaming company that's flat out said 'we done goofed, we're redoing the mold, tell us you bought them and we'll replace them free of charge'. That's pretty bloody good to your customers.

I'm looking very forward to their larger scale army game aswell.
Lucidicide
I'll admit, I'd have been more pleased with the news if Aaron had been the one to share it. /troll

Lucidicide
I believe they will not be in that sale (but you'll see soon enough!)

It's good that they're willing to fix it, no question! Much better than "Let's just not mention it".

It's good that they're willing to fix it, no question! Much better than "Let's just not mention it". I can, because it's my other main game. Infinity. Corvus Belli have gone through several scale transitions. First edition was exaggerated 28mm. The first half or so of second edition was non-exaggerated 28mm with exaggerated guns. The second half of second edition was non-exaggerated 28mm with non-exaggerated guns. Third edition saw a shift to 30mm. Even amongst this, there's been scale mistakes. One of the army starter packs smaller than anything else from the late second edition period it was done in, and third edition which came quickly afterwards was much bigger (to the point where those models could pass for children). Some units have changed scale, multiple times through successive releases, so you can't make a full team of that unit without scale differences unless you do a lot of converting. And two of those changes were after the scale shift with third edition. One of their TAG models is so out of scale the visible pilot arms look like children's arms. Corvus Belli are really bad with scale. They don't offer to fix anything, and don't even acknowledge that it's an issue.
amanwing
What about the mounted guards from the upcoming black friday sale? Will they be the correct size?
Jam Warrior
They've been pulled from the sale. The sale line up announcement was from before the mis-scaled horse complaints grew loud enough that they had to address the error.
Sybaris
Just found about this as i had intended to buy the mounted guards at BF. Really happy of the decision. Great move on Wyrd's part, it helps building confidence with the company we put a decent sum of money in. There are still a few other strangely scaled models in the line...not many, but a few, namely Reva and Nekima off my mind. I humbly hope that we, someday, see a decision like this for those models, even if they were not mistakes per se (although in those case there should be no replacement, just removing the old one and selling the new would be fine by me). grrrfranky
I've only just noticed this, having bought them in the gencon sale (they've have been sitting in the primed pile for quite a while now). Is it still possible to get mine replaced?
xGIxJOKERx
I bought mine at Gen Con and hadn't noticed this until the 17th and they still honored it. You should be fine if you fill out the form and send a picture.
Tris
@MasonOne quick question - are the scheduled mounted guards on the wyrd page (it says they`ll come in march) the properly sized ones? Or is the release plan not up to date?
