  2. well congratulations to the Flippin Wyrds, Team Russia 1, Emma OP?, and Northern Moose Infantry Commiserations to everyone else involved The semi's are as follows Team Russia 1 vs The Flippin Wyrds Northern Moose Infantry vs Emma OP Good Luck to everyone involved!
  3. See below regarding new vassal update Please update prior to gamea Latest module (27/08/20) with new maps and some new features. Draw hand button, draw multiple cards, trackers to keep track of cards in deck/discard. Space for those lucid dreams. Stacking cards together (double click to stack/unstack). Shortcut to put the different glow rims on models a/ctrl-a. Due to these features you may run into issues if running against someone on an older module so please try to stay updated. As always, any problems let me know. http://www.vassalengine.org/mediawiki/images/3/37/M3E-Malifaux-v1i.vmod
  4. Hi all I've been made increasingly aware of games taking 4-5 hours to complete. im aware that language barriers, vassal and tech issues can slow this down, but 4-5 hours is too long to be allocating to any game considering time zones and Real life considerations. therefore for the Semi finals and Finals of the Vassal World Cup a 3 hour Time limit will be imposed on all games. This will start from the first activation of turn 1. The player activativating the model will be required to set a timer and give the opponent updates of time on a turn by turn basis or as requested. at the end of the 3 hours if the game is not complete then the active player finishes there activation and points are calculated from the current boardstate I do apologies adding this rule in half way through, but a number of players have complained about the length of some games which is not only detracting from the enjoyment of the event and the feasibility people taking part. I was reluctant to put a timer on things to begin with because i was worried about the pressure people would feel under to finish their game if new to vassal, but im now aware im losing players potential to the length of the games Thanks
  5. I just think explaining your points better rather than just saying "so and so model is bad because I said so" would be of more benefit
  6. i'd not seen what S&S had to say on foundry but they do have issues ride the rails is a great ability for mobility though is fairly scripted where you are going and can be interrupted by either just removing the marker or standing something with a 40/50mm base on top of it. in addition you have to spend a fair amount of points on setting up the rail lines with the models doing not realy doing much else to contribute or being relatively easy to take down. i tend to run two metal gamin and a rail worker as my way of setting up the rail lines and they don't do to much else the crew is fairly reliant on sparks as well his skills (bombs in your belly, healing and hazardous scrap) however he is fairly squishy if you can get at him
  7. then why bother posting, no one is learning anything from you posting statements and going "believe what im saying cos i said so"
  8. But that doesn't help anyone else or expand discussions on here
  9. I think others would learn more from your Insite if you expanded on here
  10. yes intel markers don't specify in play so can be placed on models deploying from the shadows
  11. @Plaag would it be possible for you to go in to a bit more depth regarding what you considering good and bad models and why you seem to have very poler views on models without giving any detail why?
  12. colette and sandeep probably need looking at a tad maybe reducing presto chango range to 6 and doing something with kandara? marcus and raspy are my masters that need a boost, raspy doesn't have a plan b if you can deal with her ice pillars and marcus seems to lose out with all the mobile masters we have that are better than what he offers in some way
  13. Seamus in to ressers is pritty good as he gets round htw and that's generally ressers defensive tech. Incoporial isn't going to be doing much against 4/6/8 there isn't anything in ressers that grants cover
  14. the best crew is the one you know best. your always going to do better with the crew you know well and suits your play style over just picking the "most powerful" crew
  15. so yes his back of card suffers for how good his front of card is but that doesn't mean he's a bad model Picket line might be pritty poor damage but it's realy reliable at essentially stat 6 positive a lot of the time Arson is amazing for removing scheme markers at long range. if it does damage thats a bonus but essentially its a 6 to remove a scheme marker at 10 inches, thats the key bit Interrogate has its uses. i don't use it often but ironsides doesn't have much card draw and card discard can be horrible for some crews I didn't start the fire isn't great, but if they have burning for some reason its a great way dropping schemes. its great vs kaeris and reva. fire golems hate it
  16. whats wrong with fitz? he makes your crew tankier, he can remove and drop schemes at range and his melee attack is pritty good even if nothing special
  17. feel free to paint on of your scheme markers gold!

  19. the pipes aren't anything the stairs are just sloped terrain regardless of where they are
  20. Water is severe ht0 Pipes are ht 2 blocking climbable Crates are ht1 blocking climbable destructible Fog banks/steam clouds are dense concealing platforms are various heights block climbable (except for stairs which are open ground)
  21. Essentially the owner of the model doing the first obey is the one controlling the action section 5.12 of FAQ only applies to exclusive interview
  22. your aware only 5/12 models with ambush have unimpeded (or planted roots)
  23. just to point out, chaki isn't in the effect of spirit flute so cant hand out her reliquary with it scoring for bounties is 2,3,4,5 as its two plus points scored so far as you haven't score any when you score the first point so can't be 3
  24. i tend to hire two to reduce the risk of missing out on a golem turn 1 and also so i can summon another gamin at the same time
