Obey can be used multiple time on the same target, it's only restricted with taking Attack actions. It can also be used on enemies, which, while it is less reliable, can have very powerful effects at the right time. Personally I don't think Sandeep's ability is anything like prompt/obey since it shifts AP in the opposite direction. There was no guarantee she would do that before either. In fact if people expected her to do that before and the Colette player didn't, the Colette player could gain advantage from the surprise, which is a lot less likely to happen now as Colette has lost one of her play styles. As someone who likes to take a Performer in any crew (they are mercenaries after all...) I wouldn't give Colette credit for this.
  2. And Zoraida, people always ignore poor Zoraida!

Another pair of weaknesses in Colette's defences are that Death Defying provides healing so things like Decaying Aura or Glimpse the Inevitable blocks it, and Now You See me provides reduction so while you can get away you will still loose some of your precious 8 Wd to an attack that ignores that. And while ignoring reduction used to be rare in favour of just ignoring armour it has become more common with wave 4. --- What models are there, across the factions, that can block triggers (obviously you can also get around it with various blast and pulses)? Or someone that ignores triggers is after her, or she got lured/pushed away first. Some crews don't really have that hard a time killing Colette.
  5. What steams me is that they took Kaeris' signature things (flying Master that drops people) and gave vastly superior versions to a shitty gremlin. That said (I had to get it of my chest) I don't think Kaeris is weaker than Ironsides. But to make Kaeris a little less frustrating to play I would give her an ability that lets her spend 1 AP and discard a card (or some other combination of resources) to take an (0) Action on her own card. I know they slapped Instinctual on the Emissary but since it's an Action it just makes Kaeris' already strict activation order more strict if you want to get any of use of it. Though I guess changing Flame-o-taur to last until the end of her next Activation would work as well, but I rather have it on Kaeris herself.
  6. To boost Tara, you are giving up an AP from Tara for The Rage Builds and an AP from someone to bury the Bloodwretch so there will probably not be all that many situations where this is the most efficient way to do damage. The card draw is nice though. With Ml 6 Weak 3 I'd much rather charge an enemy.

That is just as wrong as saying Prompt is more versatile for exactly the same reason. Versatile is just not the word you are looking for. Some of the options in a given Colette Activation has been removed, she is weaker (even if by just a tiny sliver). Will she more fun to play against? Very possible!

Prompt is in no way more versatile than before. Versatile means to have many uses, prompt now has fewer possible combinations of use than before as everything you can do now you could also do before, but there are things you could do before that you can no longer do.
  9. Cherufe left Sonnia to become half of the Burning Man in her Ripple of Fate vignette.
  10. Silent Ones doesn't have on their attack.
  11. A summoner is not bad for Reckoning if you focus on quality summons over quantity. Kirai and Nicodem can both do this as they have several healing options and buffs in Adversary and Undead Crowning/Corpse Conductor respectively. Kirai can also do good damage with the Unforgiven upgrade.
  12. 1. No, you have to do all the generated Actions before you can do anything else. And if you can't do them they are lost. 2. Yes. Comparing the wording on See the Unseen with the description of terrifying and targeting on page 37 it's clear that is exactly the kind of thing they are referring to.

    M2E Ironsides

With Blood Ward Ironsides and one Henchman can be immune to Tail Em until the opponent manage to kill that Mage, which if you delay it enough will not give max VP since it's 1 per turn. Not really Ironsides specific but three Oxfordians with their current status as 5 SS enforcers is kind of suited for Last Stand. You'll want some beef as well, but cheap backup doesn't hurt.
  14. No it doesn't. It says "following the usual restrictions for attaching Upgrades at the start of the game."
  15. I think Mouse is pretty terrible, perhaps worth 2 SS with his current rules.
  16. Abilities and Actions have been written by several people without much of a style guide so they use whatever wording seemed ok at the time. In these specific cases I think Deliver Orders has a more strict wording because it will always matter to some degree if you push before you Interact. The order of Stone on a River will rarely matter, I can only think of Glimpse the Inevitable, which was perhaps not foremost in the authors mind.
  17. The three plus Enforcers/Henchmen have to be "in play" though, "on the table" is only used for determining who has the most models. So you can't protect the Enforcer/Henchmen by burying them either way and we don't have to argue about whether buried models are outside their deployment zone. My gut reaction is that "on the table" is supposed to mean the same as "in play", but who knows. If buried models are supposed to be include in the count that would IMO have been clearer if "on the table" was just left out.
  18. The Dreamer buries himself, not sacrifice (LCB dies or sacrifices himself to unbury The Dreamer, but since LCB is never the leader that doesn't matter).
  19. You'd have to be able to bury yourself though (e.g. Leveticus, The Dreamer), or obey another model to bury you or something, as you can't activate if you are buried. Overall Tail 'Em feels a bit easy though, as even if you have the opportunity to run behind something to break LoS you are wasting at least one AP there and probably at least one more AP getting back out next turn. The more I think about Last Stand, the less I like it. You don't have to do anything at all for the scheme yourself, it's completely up to the enemy to do something to stop you. You would have to build for it, but making an elite crew isn't that onerous a prospect... With regards to Eliminate the Leadership, if Nekima were to chop down the original leader, that would be 2 VP, right? The old leader would still be leader when it gets to 0 Wd and Nekima doesn't become the leader until "After killing...".
  20. Oh, I guess I need to learn to read.
  21. So in a podcast you talked about maybe giving some kind of non-VP reward for revealing, could you share any example of what that might be?
  22. Hidden Trap seems pretty hard to pull off. Dig Their Graves goes pretty well with Crooked Men as well... Last Stand fells odd that it can score from turn one since it doesn't require any interaction with the enemy, you just have to move forward a little bit.
  23. It doesn't say "target a model with a (1) Ca" or some such so I don't see why you couldn't target anything regardless of what actions it has, nothing would happen though (apart from a WP test if you are into that kind of thing ). I also assume you are supposed to since Von Schill doesn't have any (1) Ca and he and Hannah were the only possible Freikorps Leaders when the model was made. Edit: Ninjad...
  24. Silurids leap 7" and 69% of the cards can cast it. Gupps leap 5", but more significantly only 26% of the cards can cast it. So Silurids are more reliable when it comes to getting where they need to be and to get away from scheme runner hunters.
  25. I made no claims about the overall usefulness of Reliquary or Yan Lo's power level in general, just pointed out that dreamer isn't the only one that can summon enforcers, so what's your point?
