Diddick
Hi @Caedrus! i’d like to join the enforcer pledge (but hopefully I’ll do way more than this... :D) my Jan submission will be this Ashes And Dust I have half done since mid December. Also a skeak peek of my shelf of shame, all of them can be the next months submissions.
misterfinn
@Caedrus I really like where you’re going with Killjoy. I look forward to seeing how you integrate your brushwork. Also the NMM sketching is a great idea. For those who are airbrushing in colder climates (it’s 9 degrees Fahrenheit outside right now): how do you handle venting? Popular Post Stranglelove
Hello, new painter, here. I got The Cult of the Burning Man as a Christmas Gift and have been painting them since January 1 for Adepticon. Finished painting the ECB Black OPs and the Warped (except for basing, which I'm dreading). Anyway, here is a BLOPS Fireteam: And here is a Warped Fireteam: I'm new to the Hobby Forum, so I'm not sure how to upload anymore with the forum's attachment limit.

Popular Post Caedrus
Caedrus, checking in! My January pledge is complete, now onto the stretch goals! I think I went a bit crazy with the orange, what with the hat, pants, rust, and Outcasts-edge base. The contrast on the hat is too much, but I like it anyway. Enjoy your January! Caedrus.
Popular Post Gloomy
Here's where I'm at with the 3 Death Marshals. Almost done, I think I just need to work on the flames a bit more, any suggestions on what I could do to improve them would be greatly appreciated

Not last, we have to remember your mini is really small and that is a nightmare for painbting details..... at lòeast for me! Lighter lights and darker darks would sell the effect better I think.

I think I'm gonna add some glazes to darken them down a bit more then bring up the highlights to a white

Flames burn hotter near their source so the highest points of the sculpt will be the darkest. The brighter the crevices, the hotter the flame. 3

Now @misterfinn is burning his kitchen again! Stop giving excuses to this pyromane @misterfinn You may hate the sculpt, but how you painted it turned him amazing! I love the subtle green hightlight.

I dislike that mini because it doesn't fit the Freikorps aesthetic as much as I'd like, but gotta say your paintjob for the group saves a lot in that regard. Sculpt style aside, fantastic painting👍 1
Purple Mist
Hello, I'm considering using lichens (from The Army Painter or other company) to finish working my Bad Ju-Ju. Just out of the box lichens look fresh and wet, so i fear they will dry overtime when applied over models and bases and I expecially fear their aspect and colour could change with the drying process. Any suggestion, tip or comment as regard? Thanks in advance.
