  1. Yeah.... don't think she will be fielded at all this year. And from what we have seen with Yasunori once someone is mega-nerfed they stay that way forever.
  2. Never underestimate the power of Drunken Kung-Fu! Hiya!
  3. Riddles in the dark is good for buffing your moon shinobi :-)
  4. If you don't want to pay the prices for the individual figs, just buy a good resin printer and print proxies that will be close enough until you can get the individuals or Wyrd starts selling stl files. You won't be able to find an angel eyes fig, but a woman with a gun with 30mm base should be decent enough.
  5. I'm just pumped we get the rail golem! Need it to fill out my Mei Feng crew.
  6. The trend is moving towards 3d printing anyway, so at some point we will probably be able to print our own models without assembly with the only annoyance being support removal and polishing.
  7. You are fine. Lots of FLGS have online ordering also. The line is blurred now. Just order from this place http://www.gamekastle.com
  8. Where do you live that you are able to have a big tourney this year?
  9. Yeah, might be some niche situations where he is still useful.
  10. Yeah, it is pretty unbelievable. Nerf plus point increase? Guess Wyrd didn't want him on the table at all? A shame since it is such a great model aesthetically.
  11. Best crew against Misaki would be a non melee crew that also doesn't rely on her being in a certain place. Anti bury powers like the Marshals would be good too. Zoraida is quite powerful. Obey is absolutely devastating used in the right hands. My opponent made short work of my Whiskey Golem with it, one of the best models in the game.
  12. One solution to all of these stock issues is to sell STL files so people can just 3d print them. I know, not likely to happen but things are changing fast!
  13. If you have to whiddle their armor down it reduces the amount of random chance in the game and makes it more strategic. Otherwise some of the powerful status effects could make it possible for low level characters to defeat high level ones.
  14. Not sure if you have played Divinity 2 Original Sin but it compares quite favorably on classic mode or harder. It is hard though, just like Malifaux. Plenty of interactions between burning, water, surfaces, teleporting, moving, ranged bonuses, weaknesses, etc. Quite honestly it is a bit overwhelming but sounds like what you are looking for.
  15. @Drowsheep Yeah that's the issue with LA, getting across town is a trek so we usually get a collection of localized groups. We'll have to do a get together somewhere midway sometime! Maybe west LA.
  16. Hey guys! I am part of the same group as @LeperColony and we play at Lost Planet Games in Torrance. Paperless is no issue at all though, if you get an email receipt just print to pdf and upload the pdf to Wyrd on the submission form. Or take a screenshot on your phone and upload that file. Or print it out as paper and take a photo and upload that. Etc.
  17. Just got a Gibbering Hordes army and a demo from our local expert. I think a "Wyrd" full scale game definitely has a place and that "Malifaux night/day" could easily become "Wyrd" day. However, given the super popularity of M3E it will remain dominant.
  18. Is it just me, or does this guy seem a bit overpowered? Maybe should be 9 points or more?
  19. Just read the rules. "drop" is not considered a move so the hazardous terrain effects would not happen that turn.
  20. That's possible but doesn't Fantasy Flight make all of their stuff in China too? A well as more than 80% of games on the market lol.
  21. Warcry is quite possibly the best starter set value ever made. That also means it is a mega loss leader. GW can afford to take that loss because it wants you to start playing Age of Sigmar and get hooked in. One thing though is that the warcry board is less than half the size of the standard 3 by 3 malifaux board. Infinity has a good solution here where they have excellent starter sets with smaller poster boards and some cheap terrain. But Wyrd seems agains starter sets for some reason.
  22. Only took me 6 weeks to respond, not bad. Easy to paint interior in my opinion.
  23. I blame this on newegg... I have ordered things from noble knight directly without any issue at all. In fact, they are a treasured resource of hard to find items.
  24. I have put together some wyrdscapes recently: The abandoned store, the solarium, pathways, and makeshift defenses. My opinion is that this is some of the finest terrain ever made. The plastic is extremely solid and durable. The pieces fit together like a glove for the most part. But what really sets it apart is the interior detail on the pieces. They literally have interiors as detailed as their exteriors. The only criticism I can give is that it should include instructions although it is kind of fun to put it together. This isn't the easiest thing to find and you will probably have to order online, but it is worth it!
