  1. yes, new starter set models would be great. also hoping for a new campaign setting.
  2. aeslin can do some work with leaves on the wind to give to enemy CA actions. but you will have to have something that cranks out scheme markers to best utilize it.
  3. your best bet with the "build-a-bear" for dreamer would be to summon stitched for the scrap markers or hold out for the 13 of masks. and zoraida can generate 2 scrap/turn. however i find that collodi is best for this as he can generate 4-5 scrap/turn, but the problem with this is that it is card intensive and half your crew is dedicated to pooping out a teddy/turn.
  4. only if your buried though. and as for the teddy + kade thing. its to help get kade into the 1" sweet spot to hit for +4 dmg while next to another friendly model. though it does take a turn to get there since "wheres teddy" is a 2 ap.
  5. strum is def a must for collodi. would consider dropping the tot for another effigy and also drop a marionette. use the points for the marionette for strum and 2 ss. i like the 2 coryphee for times you need to get in the opponents face fairly quickly, having just one coryphee just doesnt cut it as your really only using half of your atk/tact actions which can change if you add in a mannequin.
  6. definitely remove the render. and i feel like titania is in a good spot for the overall artwork.
  7. dont forget to take out the hallow waifs as well. having levi bounce around the table using waifs like some form of guerrilla tactics is annoying and contributes to his survivability. or even taking something that can target buried models to help deal with levi directly can do wonders. speaking of which, is aionis(sp?) the only model nb can take that can target buried models?
  8. also adding in some kind of lure effect in addition to titania can help with this. so thinking lilitu would perform well with that.

    Pusher ;)

i thought about using this idea as well using titania and adding in the mysterious emissary but i am torn between using titania or collodi. with titania i can get more pushes, but with collodi i can pass out more so that the changlings can pass the TN a bit easier.
  10. teddy is one of those pieces that if i took in a titania/lilith crew i would have to build around it. such as using lilitu and lelu or a rougarou to draw in models so teddy can spread his hugs, which can force pushes to trigger pounce attacks. and find a way to force wp duels so you can get a free attack if a model fails one. however he has a low def and mid wp, so even with impossible to wound he can go down pretty hard.
  11. the new upgrades for titania really are not essential, others will say otherwise. the new upgrades for titania allow you to reduce the amount of dmg from models based on its station (peon-henchman), allows you to turn living models into undead fae, gives fae armor +1. while the other allows you to deal +1 dmg to masters and choose a suit of your choice (also against masters), prevents ss use, and gives you a solid attack action that requires a crow to pull off (the crow is not built in) because of these upgrades it has turned titania into a better tank than she was before broken promises. again, they come in handy but depending on your opponents crew and your strat and schemes they may not necessarily be used (again some will disagree here and say that either one is a always must take) as for gg18, it is usually a tournament document that can be downloaded for free in the community resource section of the main page. or you can purchase the strat and scheme deck from wargame vault in january. and the broken promises upgrades can be obtained from the broken promises upgrade deck. i will also suggest the generalist upgrade deck 1 & 2, as there are some good upgrades in there for just about everything.
  12. i main titania quite often and find her more appealing over lilith simply because i find that i can switch between heavy aggro and scheming alot easier midgame if necessary. the autumn knights are excellent for this, especially tooth, as they can often drop a scheme marker as part of a trigger. also the rougarou and the twins provide extra killy goodness with the pounce ability when combined with tooth. thorn has a good range and can draw you an extra card as a trigger. aeslin can deal with Ca heavy crews and also prevent any movement shenanigans (dodges the pistol whip) from an opponents crew. gorar can obviously get back a minion after it dies titania herself with the new upgrades can tank fairly well, especially when using aether connections. also has push shenanigans ( black joker'd on the pistol whip) and can boost damage if within range of friendly scheme markers overall though she is fairly easy to pick up, just expect to drop alot of scheme markers. as for dedicated scheme runners, i like to use either gupp swarms or insidious madnesses. if using the gupps i can drop scheme markers close to titanina on first turn to allow her to push a model up using a (0) action and finally when using the mysterous emissary, i find that it works best with titania as the primal conflux allows you to boost friendly fae models plus adding a suit of your choosing when within 3" of a hungry land marker
  13. i find it funny that no one mentioned teddy. he has some fun things to do when paired with baby kade. oh and dont forget about will o' wisps, they help make scheming a bit easier. plus they can also copy "wheres teddy" from kade.
  14. ive noticed alot of people suggesting using the henchmen hardcore crews for teaching people and i believe it is the same number of models that come in the starter set. other than that i would pick up a couple crew boxes that are not neverborn or guild and run those without the master using the material from the starter set.
  15. there is a trick to that...have the holo dot cover the model name on the back of the card. that way no important info is obstructed.
  16. true, however i use ultra-pro and legion sleeves. so far no problem with the card size difference (which is highly noticeable)
  17. that might just be the brand you purchased. but the malifaux cards and fate decks fit "standard" (magic:the gathering card size) size sleeves. there are slight variations of size based on the brand, such as KMC sleeves vs. ultra pro sleeves. just avoid any "japanese" size or novelty size and you should be good.
  18. they have 2 different foam tray dimensions for the 432. they are basically "vertical" and "horizontal", one uses the large battlefoam trays (15.5" by 12", or close to it) and the other uses the small battlefoam trays. personally i would go with the large tray setup. as for the type of trays, you are probably going to need a 3" and a 2" pluck foam tray. but you can find trays for 30-40mm in the games-workshop section of the site. i personally like the (30K) Legion 32mm Troop Foam Tray (BFL-1.5). it only works for 30mm, but you can find a tray that works for 40mm bases as well after you find the avg size of 40mm models
  19. or you could wait and see if they will be available during the black friday sale
  20. cant say much for dreamer, but it seems like he would be the best bet for that pool of models. pandora wouldnt do much unless you decided to go the paralyze route. and collodi is nearly useless without some form of puppetry going on.
  21. i agree. anytime i am running titania and need to keep a minion around for one reason or another i always take it. plus its a nice change of pace from the usual puke snake.
  22. ok, thanks for the reply. that changes things a bit for me.
  23. im currently looking at picking up lucius as another NB master and had a question about his upgrade with the personal retinue ability. Personal Retinue: Crews led by this model may hire up to 4 models with the Guardsman or Mimic Characteristic that are not the Crew’s declared Faction from how i am reading this is that it is either up to 4 guardsmen only or up to 4 mimics only. so no mixing. is this a correct interpretation or is it up to a mix of each?
  24. there are a lot of good points made so far, but my best success with aeslin is when i was using the entire titania crew box with a few add-ons to hit my 50 stones. this was mainly due to the fact that i was able to place a ton of scheme markers to make use of malifaux provides/leaves on wind/rot and rend. so because of the amount of markers in play she was a mini-titania for me.
  25. flurry is a great option, barring bad luck, you should be doing good-great dmg to a model. by itself you can usually kill a model with the 3 attacks. if you find yourself having trouble hitting with flurry then make sure you have some sort of buff to hit such as from hoffman emissary.
