I take Howard instead of the Guardian a lot. That unimpeded and vent steam can swing games.

I had Focus +3 Hoffman beat the shit out of me with his fists so there's also that The only difference you can make is try to play him with enforcer/henchmen and minions. I think both work and it's personal preference.

I do think he has a learning curve First of all: he's super card hungry. Second of all: using the bonus take some preplanning Third: mixing healing and fasts isn't as easy as it seems versus opponents that know how to play against him

TBH it doesn't necessarily has to be survivor's mistake. It's entirely possible for the crew to be too strong while the other NVB to be too weak. But looking at Malifaux Vassal Series, NVB don't seem to be doing that bad. -

I tried it and I'd never drop the steward. Dispel Magic + FMM + not needing suits + heal is a lot better than risking not having a low tome 😕

In order to resolve an action you have to take it. If you place a scheme marker, you place it in base contact with the enemy model, and not Nellie. If Zoraida obeys someone and they charge, zoraida doesn't resolve the charge action even though she controls the model.

1) Plant Evidence only works if she performs her action herself. Exclusive Interview doesn't trigger Plant Evidence 2) When he activates, you can select an enemy minion. Unbury the reporter in base contact with the minion. Reporter gains slow. Opponent takes the minion and places him in his deployment

Legistat played him on the New Years Retribution R1 vs Zipp and won 8:5 IIRC I think going the garrotte way isn't the way. He has insane card draw, he has AP manipulation and a decent amount of models with Stealth.

While I disagree with some of Wyrds design decisions, things like Thalarian Quellers we're mentioned multiple times in the beta which means: a) Wyrd things those models are fine as-is b) Wyrd knows more than we do c) Wyrd lacked the manpower to fix 450 models and 21 upgrades simultanously. I personally think it's a bit of all 3 of them. -
