  1. They can take my metal Leveticus from my cold, dead hands.
  2. No more open tests. The developers know which models stink in each faction. Make them better. Make a GG2 that makes minions great again. (Were they ever?) I’ll take another year of that. next year they can tackle ES. Let them sell some models first.
  3. So played a game with this, absolutely loved it! Felt almost like a real game after all these months (I’m in MA where lockdowns are a thing), thanks to those that made it! one complaint and one question (not sure if the creators are monitoring this thread) the complaint is terrain, which I can fix the scarcity on my own, the ones that add in so well are really sparse.... and the question, any plans to go from 2d rate to colored 3D renders? thanks again, it’s so well done, my group which has been on hiatus is chatting a TPK about diving into this!
  4. Fast Hanged are a real thing. Dead outlaws make it happen. And their interplay with Guilty is icing.
  5. I never understood why they didn’t do +1 for versatile (many versatiles have a keyword so would ignore that tax with a given leader) and then +2 OOK.
  6. Until testing proves otherwise (and I sort the new Schemes better) Corrupted Leylines = Zipp Symbols of Authority = Viktorias Recover Evidence = Parker Public Enemies = Von Schill if any opposing Faction or Scheme pool blow up this first choice, default to Leveticus. Or if I just wanna play Leveticus, take him. Daw, Tara and Hamelin are for fun games.
  7. Making Soldier for Hire grant Ruthless to minions is a wonderful switch. It would go from an rarely to never selected upgrade to a situational pick that helps cover one of our weaknesses, a great place for an upgrade to be
  8. Expanding in the question above regarding scheme markers and their allegiance... if it says “remove a scheme marker” I have assumed that to mean friendly or enemy... is that not the case?
  9. Update: got a response that says they are waiting for the Faction books, hoping they show next Monday! squeeky wheel got some oil! Thanks, Wyrd, happy to wait!
  10. I have also emailed office-assistant a few days ago and have received no reply. The silence is the frustrating part, not a delay in product. Has anyone seen a Faction book in the wild yet?
  11. So I don't think the specialist is that far off... at 7ss he would be much more tempting. I do like the idea of giving him Reference the Field Guide. Right now he function decently when you dedicate your high cards to him. RtFG would remove that need
  12. I use Aeslin in HH games. Her (0) Bound and Rooted is key in HH, protecting your models from being drawn forward. Plus, she can move opponents models to you with a push trigger. but aside from that scenario she isn't very useful
  13. My recollection is that Wyrd said they would never sell the TtB Hannah. Release more, they are toys meant to be enjoyed. (and I have mine so this isn't being greedy!)
  14. Why wouldn't you just jam the Guilty into the opponents crew and let him kill him? all the backfield, turn 1 dancing is a very M1.5 mindset, just force the opponent to kill him?
  15. well, not certainly charging, but using the move from Scout just like you're probably using Oathkeeper's extra AP to get in to position. You could shoot some, charge something... whatever. the point is instead of dropping Oathkeeper first turn, drop it second because you're effectively getting the same thing out of it, an AP to walk... but then the benefit of shooting/charging something that they hid
  16. Interesting that no one is including Scout the Field. Keep Oathkeeper for turn 2 discarding because Scout the Field turn one allows to charge something outside of LoS.... give it a whirl?
  17. +1 to Patzer's post, thanks for explaining. Rat Engine is well done, gives Hamelin back his character the other dirty Outcasts were stealing! Levi, oh, Levi... what can we say? Thanks, Justin, for taking this step, I know Errata is not an easy move to make.
  18. Just found this! Awesome sauce that you're doing it again. My crew is gonna make the trip down, let us know if we should bring any terrain or anything. I'll get better numbers for you the close we get. PFalcon is gonna toss this on the calender as well.
  19. MissDemeanor is a old metal sculpt for Convict Gunslingers... The old metal Desperate Mercs, one was female. Both of these models are often takes in my Viks crews. Coupled with Rusty, Hannah and a Librarian you have the makings of not just a playable crew, but a very good crew... now go convert up some female abominations if you'd like!
  20. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wyrd-Malifaux-Fate-Deck-Adepticon-2014-Exclusive-Box-SW-/131768073738?hash=item1eadfd3e0a:g:VZ0AAOSwud1W~Zmm (note: I am not the seller, I just happened to stumble across this listing last night and am sharing the information with you)
  21. So I was Icemyn's fourth round opponent. And I'd like to just add four simple opinions to the discussion here. 1. Icemyn is a very good player. As in one of the best I've seen. That means that no matter which "gimmick" he may choose to use, its going to be very effective and seem overpowered. This said, I don't feel that his level of play invalidates this argument because: 2. I use it myself, but not with Killyjoy but instead the Viks... and in that instance it works stupid good as well. I think even beginner players could make use of it to frustrate anyone. 3. The problem is beyond just "take four rats for 8 activations for one turn," because a patient player that takes the Obedient Wretch will choose when he wants to make use of it, or often just out activate most, if not all, of the game. I say this because its what I do with Hamelin. But as Icemyn says in his original post, Hamelin is "balanced" around this type of activation control. The other Outcast Masters benefit to a much higher degree and alter the balance level with its inclusion. What I am trying to say is you can make use (abuse) this 10-ish Soulstone investment in many various ways beyond what Icemyn (and others including myself) did at AdeptiCon. Therefore; 4. I would strongly support the removal of the Obedient Wretch, and only the Wretch, from non-Hamelin Outcast crews. While "Eight Soulstones, Eight Activations" plus "use Infectious Melodies to delivery Killjoy" are powerful (and surprising) tactics, they are investments and I consider them valid tactics. To me, The Wretch is more problematic for sustainable abuse. I heard a few fixes as well, but the simple addition of the line "This model may only be hired by crews led by Hamelin" is a simple fix which I think would alleviate a lot of the problem I perceive.
  22. well, to me the most glaring "huh?" is the Desolation Engine with no solid way of getting Abominations out. Sure, quite a few of your models can make them on a trigger on their Ml attacks, but part of what makes the DE a beast is the ability to re-form it during the game. So I would look their for the first tweak... either Rusty's upgrade, or one of Levi's.... or I would drop the DE in favor of something a few stones cheaper and sprinkle in Oathkeeper to the list, which will help out with making it even more smashy!
  23. Levi's upgrades are too good to ignore, IMO, but if you do, you can certainly spend his stones and just hand onto his cache. The list will hit like a mack truck, sure... but can it score its strats and schemes? Would I use it, sure, but I would tweak it some.
  24. I use the Emissary with my Hamelin crews I like Nix with Regen. I like any of Hamelin's disposable minions with Reactivate. and Don't Mind Me always has a place, even if Rat Catchers come with it.
