Gromtae
Hello fellow Malifaux/Gremlins players. When do all think we might see the Brewmaster release, I've got a couple of friends who are waiting on his Starter --- Title edited by Rathnard to avoid potential Gremlin rage
Dirial
No idea. It was announced once, and later the announcement was withdrawn. Since that time, the community jokes that Brewmaster is possibly a legend that will never be released....
clockworkspide
Wyrd's probably working with Valve on a package deal. Buy a Closing Time box, get Half Life 3 for half price.
Phinn
That exclamation mark in the title got me really excited. An emotional roller coaster, that's how I would describe this thread.

Actually Closing Time is currently being handled by 3D Realms and the same team that was originally developing Duke Nukem Forever. I've seen some initial footage and it's all looking very promising. They said it'll be released "when it's done", which I'm sure will be very soon!
zFiend
It's a cruel joke like the normal Tara release. Never going to happen.
Vorschlag
Is it sick and wrong that it's still tempting to order the pre-release from the war-store? I mean it's just like backing a kick-starter right?
Jimbobovalsocks
You can buy the pre-release from me if you like brother! There's a £50.00 deposit (non-returnable)! I can show you some box artwork if it makes you feel more comfortable. E.T.A Q4 2023.
Brewmaster
I do TOO exist! *crying arm flail run out of the thread*
Scirian
I'm happy we can laugh about it now. The waiting and the not knowing was like a bad relationship. Now that the pain is all behind us; we can laugh again, what with the release dates. This thread got my hopes up, and I am proud to say it has not disappointed. 2023!! Here we come Brewie!
Phinn
E.T.A Q4 2023. 2023!! Here we come Brewie! By the rules of internet this is now a canon. If anyone asks when is Brewmaster going to be released, this is what you tell them.

Great news! 3D Realms has switched to a new engine for "Closing Time"! It'll take an extra year, but will definitely be worth it!
Bengt
So is that extra year from the engine change included in the 2023 release date?!
zFiend
Apprentice Wesley will be the biggest of all the totems. And will most likely be errata'd to 50mm base. Because he was supposed to.

RatsInTheWalls
There was once a belief on the Warseer Forums that the Chaos Dwarves release had a count-down timer. Every time someone brought up their release, the timer would reset. I imagine we're facing a similar situation here.

I've seen some initial footage and it's all looking very promising. They said it'll be released "when it's done", which I'm sure will be very soon. I'm thinking they'll actually be the first team to pull off several engine switches... in a min game.

My local GW also has a similar thing on the re-release of Squats known affectionately as the Squat Clock. I intentionally go in there from time to time to mention the word Squat and the re-action is always arms in the air and moaning
NobleSeven
I heard George RR Martin was rewriting the fluff on the Brewmaster and they wanted to wait till he was finished before releasing the crew box.
SpiralngCadavr
Can a mod pretty-please change the title of this thread? Every time I see it pop up, I think it's an announcement (exclamation point) rather than an inquiry (question mark). It's regularly disappointing...

Should push back the inevitable Gremlin player uprising by at least another few months.
