  1. Where's Mythic Fox and his mod stick when you need him?
  2. If you're feeling really cheap, Fat Dragon's Rio Draco is a full print and play Wild West set for about $11.00! http://www.wargamevault.com/product/65324/RIO-DRACO-Base-Set. I really like the look on those pictures you've posted, although the church looks much too medieval I think.
  3. I'm slightly glad that that model was such a bitch to put together as I was really disappointed that I couldn't justify the postage from the U.S. for one model. I still really like the model and the concept though. This is one of Wyrd's better limited additions in my opinion and Wyrd always do good limited editions (although I wish they'd figure out a way that their customers outside the states could get hold of these limited editions without having to pay through the nose for P&P)!
  4. 1 inch = about 5 or 6 foot in Malifaux scaling. I've been using 28mm terrain and it's mostly fine but some is a little small.
  5. There's a sale on Dave Graffam stuff today at Wargames Vault. Lots of really nice stuff for less than a dollar!
  6. Yeah, I agree too. I found these: http://www.wargamevault.com/browse.php?keywords=lincoln&filters=0_40212_0_0&x=-1248&y=-266&author=&artist=&pfrom=&pto= And these: http://www.wargamevault.com/browse.php?keywords=ana+verde&filters=0_40212_0_0&x=12&y=18&author=&artist=&pfrom=&pto= That I like and I think are right for the period, so I think I'll go with them. What do you reckon?
  7. These are looking fantastic! You obviously know what you're doing with regard to DIY terrain! Forgot I'd seen these before and made this comment. I think I was massively understating just how great a job you've done here! Seriously impressive!
  8. I really like your red lyrium! I think it looks fantastic. I think your boards are very sparse terrain-wise. I tend to use close to twice as much terrain when I play. Boards like the 2 above really favour ranged crews as there is little terrain for models to hide behind or use to cover their movement across the board.
  9. I'm just completing my print and play cardboard scenery for my Infinity table and it's time to make a start on one for Malifaux. I'm not really sure what I can get away with theme-wise though. I've found lots of great fantasy and medieval style and wild west style scenery but haven't come up with much Victorian style stuff. I kind of want to make sure things fit together in a theme so with that in mind, can I get away with Tudor style buildings like these beauties from Dave Graffam http://www.wargamevault.com/product/68940/Maritime-Buildings-Bundle-Paper-Models?manufacturers_id=2985&filters=0_40212_0_0 Or how about wild west style? I like these less but feel that they perhaps look more Malifaux-y! http://www.wargamevault.com/browse.php?keywords=wild+west&filters=0_40212_0_0&x=-1248&y=-266&author=&artist=&pfrom=&pto= Sorry about the rediculously long links. Your thoughts would be appreciated!
  10. Thanks Dhampir! Lots of good stuff there. Back when I was a wee nipper, cardstock was what you used for terrain, it used to come free in White Dwarf! Do you remember? I've been ignoring it for years but have re-discovered my enthusiasm for it recently. Free is always my favourite price, but failing that extremely cheap is also acceptable! On top of that, many of these cardstock paper terrain pieces can be stored flat if you used bluetack instead of glue to hold them together which is a big bonus if, like me you live in a matchbox!
  11. At last! Not perfect but definitely lakes/marshy ground! http://www.fatdragongames.com/images/Forest_pools.pdf
  12. I've been messing around with free paper craft terrain recently for my Infinity games but have come across a fair amount of stuff which would be suitable for Malifaux. I've already posted links in another thread but thought I'd put some here too. Papermau: http://papermau.blogspot.com.br/ has thousands of free paper models, many of which would be ideal for Malifaux but check the scale - they vary widely and some are much too small to be used for gaming pieces. The Grinning Skull: https://thegrinningskull.wordpress.com/resources/ plenty here too! lots of wild west and fantasy style stuff that could be great for Malifaux.
  13. Have you looked at Papermau? If anybody has print and play hazardous terrain, it'll be him! http://papermau.blogspot.com.br/ Also, check out the grinning skull for paper terrain goodies including lots of wild west themed stuff. https://thegrinningskull.wordpress.com/resources/
