  1. Not really. For everything Kyle and Brien are, rules people they are not
  2. Not really a reference supporting anything. Just the opinion of some other players.
  3. Don't forget all the cards that Maxine can get out of your deck and hand at the same time.
  4. The model doesn't gain flicker until the beginning of its 2nd activation, so you've got 4 AP to do it. The biggest issue I see with the plan is that if someone wants to get 4 Jorogumo activations in their opponents deployment zone, that's at least 3 unactivated enemy models, and so long as the opponent is smart then at least one of those models is going to be able to kill a Huckster or otherwise make this strategy impossible.
  5. If a model is required to do something, an insignificant model can't do it. No they can't. Yes, because all Assassinate care about is that the enemy leader is at half of it's maximum health or less for the reveal, and killed for the end game. The scheme doesn't care how the leader got to that point. If the totem isn't insignificant, yes.
  6. It is one opposed duel. The models just use different stats
  7. In buying order I'd go: Serena>Hooded Rider>Rougarou=Killjoy and that should cover most lists you want. Some other good buys are: BBS+Mature Nephilim, Hinamatsu and Wicked Dolls.
  8. We have a tennuous lead on the other half of the dragon being in the bayou IIRC. Meridion is currently sealed up in leylines, and if was active would probably be with her followers in the gibbering horde rather than enacting some subterfuege among humans. If she is a Tyrant my guess would be Nameless, but I'm assuming she's some other kind of ancient entity. Maybe like along the lines of the original forms of the living blades.
  9. Severe is only defined as a trait of terrain. If it is not terrain it doesn't do anything.
  10. Summon Tokens are only upgrades for effects that reference summon upgrades. For anything else it's just a random token. Additionally the ability itself doesn't attach anything, it's just a potential consequence of the effect the ability generates.
  11. Yup, it's hazardous terrain that is within 3 of the Crypsis Core, so it makes an 3 area of hazardous terrain. However, this means there is now another piece of terrain in base contact with the Grave Goo, so that means that the 3 area around the crypsis core is also hazardous to it's own crew. And what's aggravatingly non-specific about "terrain in base contact"? It's as specific as it needs to be, it only affects terrain that the goo's base is touching.
  12. Possibly even 7 or 8 with emmy and killjoy hazardous terrain.
  13. Looks like this got overlooked, but Daw can't heal from Threads of Fate as it's the players discarding and drawing, not any models.
  14. You're making a leap that isn't really based on anything. Arguing that it works like "X" because some triggers have redundant phrases isn't exactly a strong one. Especially not when the only trigger that uses "within range and LoS" in regards to dropping markers is Cataclysm, which because of the shockwave rules already needs to be dropped within range and LoS so the entire phrase is redundant. In regards to the FAQ using "place" instead of drop/create, I present: and Neither of which is actually a Place effect but use the term place in the general english definition. In conclusion: This FAQ is bad and if the rules are going to be errata'd then actually errata the rules instead of disguising it as an FAQ.
  15. That's telling you how to handle when a scheme references friendly or enemy.
  16. There isn't anything more in the rules denoting schemes as friendly than there is for strategies. Infact the only time the rule book uses friendly scheme is the same place it uses friendly strategy, same for the GG2 booklet, so I'm really not sure what your contention is.
  17. You're forgetting about the "(and all subsequent actions)" that makes the restriction carry over to any actions that get generated as a result of the trigger-generated action.
  18. The rule says you may spend 1 chi token to gain +2, so you may spend 1 chi token to gain +2 or you can spend no chi tokens.
  19. Where are you seeing that slow says a model only gets one action?
  20. Regarding the section about climbable terrain in the movement section, it's been known about since before the rulebook went to print on initial release, and the rulebook has been errata'd twice now. If their intent was for any form of movement to work with climbable that section would almost certainly have been changed by now. Especially considering they closed the incorporeal-climbable loophole where I'm pretty sure I was the only person who ever actually pointed out that they didn't technically work together initially.
