I think it depends on local meta and personal preferences I like wrath as beatstick, but I am aware that people may use Jack Daw even more as control master

Take Jack Daw, all his 0ss upgrades, upgrade to copy tormented model action, and that with 3 inches pushes - 4ss (if remember correctly) Take Wrath - 8ss one guilty - 5 ss Sue - 8ss one hanged - 9ss I know, ss cache is low. your 1st turn: Make Sue tormented, move everything to scheme / enemy crew. Shoot something if can Nice tricks: - make enemy model tormented with upgrade that deals damage when it attacks, then "obey" enemy tormented model to attack hanged, fail horror test - with his 0 AP "obey" you can easily collect heads, give conditions (i don't remember scheme name) - you can aslo push enemy tormented models, and you can make them tormented with your 0 ss upgrades, use that to block charge lanes, LOS etc.

As for a new player, i think it's good list. I don't know schemes and what models you have, but it might help you: - You have only 1 minion - Trapper, in some schemes it may be dangerous - Vanessa doesn't like to be in heat of direct fight, so her upgrade it's not soo good as it may look. - Two librarians for me is too much, you can switch one of them for steam trunk and abomination (card draw from Lazarus), or steam trunk and Effigy (cheap scheme runner and SS draw for Von Schill). But I prefer to play at least 8 models in crew, so it depends on your playstale and your local meta. - in long term you can try to switch one Librarian and Vanessa for Hannah and Freikorps man

If you want buy full master box, think about: - Leveticus (Rusty), can summon abominations, nice no charge zone - Von Schill (F trapper), sniper with reposition tricks Smaller boxes: - Lazarus, heavy support with blasts - Hans, shoots into engagements without randomization, very slow - Convict Gunslinger, immune to horror duels, can shoot back with correct defense trigger

Great Idea, I had something similar in mind, but wanted to add someone from Crossroads 7. I don't remember all costs, but, this is 50ss list? If yes, you have 7 models, so may be outactivated.

Not sure, but what if something will remove Killjoy from play? Bury, paralyze etc. What's your plan B? Why so many rats?

I think it's a good crew I can only add minor advices: - Take Sue against resser, negative flip to belles lure is extremly good (i think he has also HTK); - When I see board and don't have too many cover I like to take effigy, you can switch it Freikorpsmann and have it in back, only to cast cover; - Try to switch Taelor, for example with SaS, Rusty or Lazarus for more shooting; I like Hannah in every outcast crew, but she is not so killy as Taelor.

As Levi player word from other team I saw how Captain pushed models: - Waifs or anchors so Levi cannot unbury - Friendly killers to kill waifs Rasputina extended range is nice, but good Levi player should kill those models with Frozen Heart ASAP Once when I had really bad hand, Kaeris used that attack agains HT and repositioned my crew badly.

Thanks for great reports Khyodee! When you play Hamelin, how long one game last. In my local area, when we have tournament, usually for each game we have 90 minutes, maybe a little more, and with Hamelin, I think it may be an issue for me and my opponent.

Hello Everyone I had time again to play Malifaux (after a few months break). Had a game with Levi (man he was killy as hell, one activation and 3 dead bodies ) But back to the main topic, I have a few questions, and hope you can help me. I Currently I have access to: - Levi plastic box - VS plastic box - Sue - Johan - Desolation Engine - Death Marshall - Hannah - Lazarus Question #1 Cheap scheme runners. I miss cheap models in my collection. After I read forum i think that Void wretches are best, but maybe in future that thing for Hamelin may be better. Are there any other options for that role? I think about Desperate merc and effigy? any opinions or advice? Question #2 Summoning Levi. I tried it a few times, Rusty Alyce generates scrap, Levi creates a-bomb. It didn't work, firstly i had to have them both in same area, second I never had a right card when i needed it. Any advices on that? Anyone had success with that tactic? Question #3 Jack Daw, I have an opportunity to buy single model for master with all cards and it's cheap. Have you ever played Jack without other tormented models? It will lose a lot of his playstyle, but can still be used . I never saw him on table so my experience is not too big. @ off-top I didn't check things on forum for some time, where is Zfiend, have Guild got him? Or maybe other sinister forces? It's strange without him and his ressers posts.

If I hear Gremlins I take Hans. Few of games I mostly won, because he killed something at first turn (for example slop hauler). As someone mentioned VS is good, I take some Freikorps models, Hans nad Rusty. Rusty for summoning so I won't be outactivated so badly

I played against both masters. Both had a different playstales. Yes I agree that you can cover mostly all schemes with them. I think that your friend should select master that suits him. Hamelin is good, but not everyone likes to play him (or against him ) My ideas about those masters: Shenlong - has Sensei Yu in box (model often used with other masters) - gives "focus" and other conditions like a candy - can get nasty with snipers / archers - you don't have to buy models outside 10T McCabe - great model on horse - can give reactivate to minions (read snipers / dawn serpent) - easy access to guild hounds as scheme runners - Sidir (if name is correct) is not soo popular as Sensei yu (I speak about my local group)

For next buy I can choose: - Von Schill box + Hannah or - Tara + Killjoy + Hans + Outcasts effigy or - Hannah + Kiljoy + Hans + effigy What would you take? I think that the best idea is to take set with second master -VS + Hannah Of course I can mix it, but I don't think that VS + Killjoy will be good choice.

If I had similar choice, I would focus on my free time. If you have time to play and paint Gremlins, you can go Option 2. If currently you don't have time for Outcasts, adding Gremlins may be a problem, so Option 1. Von Schill was my first box. He and his crew are really easy to understand, for you and opponent. I sold him because he was too straightforard for me*. It was like shoot, stab, heal, repeat. BUT I won with him matches, so he isn't weak. If you want to make him tricky, you can add other models for example: Rusty for summoning combos (VS can grant two 0 actions), Hannah with buring, Hans to shoot upgrades. Second Box: I like Rusty and summoning, so I would buy Leveticus box, but Tara or Viks can grant you more models to use. * Then I played Neverborn, now i returned to Outcasts with Leveticus so I will buy Mr. Mustache again..... I Should buy Levi / Viks from beginning.
