So when I was looking at the new sylvaneth in age of sigmar I watched a GW painting video on the tree revanents and though i rely liked how they do their spirits, and coincidentally I play jackdaw, who uses a lot of spirits. So I decided to paint my drowned, hanged, and guilty using their method, with some slight changes and also a challenge to myself. So I primed the drowned in white, then painted the whole model using ulthuan grey. For the skin I then used nihilix oxide with a drybrush of white. For the hair I used way watchers glaze followed by coelia green shade. For the dress I used athonian camo shade, and for the underroos I used seraphin sepia. That is right, aside from the drybrush and initial undercoat, nothing but glazes, shades, and washes(the oxide is technically a wash). I ran into one problem though, I have absolutely no clue how I should do the chains. I am thinking the easyish way and just painting it in vallejo rust effect or typhus corrosion. Anyways what do you think?

I have been wanting to start learnign somer more probably summoner more then normal killy somer but i cant figure out how best to use the skeeters.

Does he work well with any gremlin factions? I thought about a fast gremlin horde (especially with reckless or drunk and reckless) But I wasnt sure if anyone tried him with gremlins.

My only complaint is the yammering. You have to warn your opponent if anything would effect them if they declare so the action will never "fail" wasting an action, sure they wont take an interact action but they will just do something else instead, so honestly the immediate fail doesn't even really need to be in there.

I know it depends on what schemes and such but is a reduse reuse recycle list any good? Lots of piglets and taxidermists? Not sure what else but typing on my phone so keeping it short.

Working with what I have cause I am on a budget XD I mean I figured i would start with no piglets on the board and rely on summoning via ulix and lenny to get my other 4 pigs out, but wasnt sure what else would work in the mean time.

So I am planning to start Ulix but I do not have many piglets(or pigs of any sort. I essentially have a box of piglets and then a box of piglets i turned into stuffed piglets since they werent out at the time, Aside from that I do not have much swine related stuff, mostly starter boxes every everyone but brewmaster, some slop haulers, merris, sammy, and an extra box of bayous. So mostly starting with that for now.

I am not sure what special add on things or upgrades he has but Hannah, Lazarus, void wretch, kill joy, and a freikorps librarian. Right now everyone in the game are gunning for hannah because if she gets another injury she is gone. Basically my match versus my friend was the list I mentioned above versus 2 wicked dolls, 2 stitched together, vasalisa and widow weaver. I only killed one stitched and one wicked. I spent most of the game running the bayous higgledee piggledeeall over i wasnt even playing the game, this week we got to pick an extra scheme(I chose plant evidence) and we get 2 scrip for every vp from it. so I just ran around placing scheme markers and not dieing. lenny the slop hauler and trixiebelle just kept running away from everyone while lenny lobbed artillery pigs, hell it made me wish I owned ulix because the two summoned pigs were the bane of my friends existence. But yea it is why I was kind of leaning to somer because expendable gremlin swarm sounded funny. and really in this case when i say be annoying I mostly mean running around not dieing, I know bayous are squishy and die easily but having them all over the place and just kind of playing keep away Honestly if I wanted to really piss people off I would just play my main jackdaw, the few times I have brought him out i am generally being cursed at. The problem is I cant play next week which means that the week after next I will still only have 7 scrip to work with an masters are 15.

Okay so our store started a new league based around some special rules in shifting loyalties. I am a week behind and most people are essentially out for blood, or basically being cheap as they can be. Originally I was going to play outcasts since I am learning them but when i learned how the game is played there were no outcast armies I could build at henchman only level that wouldnt be shooting myself in the foot later(especially taking eventual injuries into account) When I learned how it works(kind of a blood bowl/ mordheim style) I realized my options were to play a system that will inevitablly not be really fun for me, or just not play at all. Hell even our henchman is basically making the cheapest list possible thanks to buying extra stuff with scrip. Anyways i did the best I could I made a list consisting of 4 bayous, a slop hauler and lenny lead by trixiebelle, figuring I will eventually(if i get enough scrip) get either somer or mah tucket. pig chucking was usefull hell the two summoned pigs were the stars of the game(sadly dont own ulix and cant afford) All in all I lost but I honestly had more fun just being annoying as I possibly can, and there is no way I can even catch up as I cant play every weak so I will always be a weak or two behind. So my options right now are just dont go to the game store for two months till we get back to normal games, or B make a Gremlin army as gremlins were made to be played.....to be annoying freaking pains in the arse. The masters i own are ophelia, mah tucket, somer, and wong, I dont really own anything outside of their stuff aside from some mercs and piglets. So please help me to be annoying

So she is coming soon and I want to get her for my JD crew but I was curious, what is her story? and what is with the little kid? Is she protecting her or what?

Everyone at my store that plays levi goes iron so me being the special flower i am i plan to go bone, is there anything i can take that can use corpse tokens?

Yea my mistake in the second game was i should have just taken as many scheme runners as possible.

Yea I sometimes wonder if JD even needs a totem, I should give lady liegia a try sometime though

So far I have only played him twice both times I kind of forgot the schemes and strats but focues more just learning jack and his crew First match i ran a bit more typical Jack Montie a guilty malifaux child(I keep taking him and I keep doing little with him haha) Greed Sue a hanged Second match I ran JD child again Wrath greed Lust a hanged a crooked man First match was agasint marcus I started losing early on but suddenly gained speed and decimated his crew, points wise I won by one second match our local henchmen wanted to run gaining ground for some reason and had no clue what I was doing so just focused on trying to learn my crews mechanics. I learned, I hate wrath duded dies to a stiff breeze. I love lust(I feel a pun is in there). I am not sure if I would prefer pride to greed. Also even though a lot of people say montie isnt that great I love him because his noose saved sue . Malifaux child for me has been great in theory but not practice, if twist and turn let me take 0 cost actions double driven by injustice would be great. But sadly the childs flips are rarely there when i need them. Last problem i had was killing, sure jacks curses can kill but it tends not to kill in a useful way for vp. In fact most things he takes are not directly killy. Going to try bishop to see if he works well for that though. I also own drowned but havent messed with them yet. I honestly do love that when i play jack daw people hate him and the hanged XD not sure what it says about me that I like to play things that are not cheesy yet are still some how frustrating to play against XD. I probably overextend with jd a lot but oldest magic helps and he can usually bamf himself free.
