  1. The Gorar is an interesting piece, but it doesn't really do scheming or strategies. In fact it's detrimental in some like Reckoning. It's also hard to pull off, needing to be in the 6" center bubble when the minion dies. It can be a good surprise to the opponent bringing back a full health Rougarou or Autumn Knight in the middle of the board, but whether or not that alone is worth it along with the difficulty to pull it off is debatable. At this point, I think the Primordial Magic really is the better choice for Titania. I really like the Cherub. The ability to make (1) Interacts (0) Interacts, along with Companion, lets you set up something like Claim Jump with 2 Terror Tots really fast, and potentially still have an AP to get the Tot out of harms way. I'm still not sold on the Poltergeist, but I'm willing to give it more chances to impress me.
  2. I said thematically, not mechanically. 'Deliverance', being terrifying and being equipped with Banjos carries the same connotations to the source as Duelling Banjos making a bunch of people Paranoid,
  3. Generalist upgrade decks 1 and 2. They contain all of the general upgrades for every faction that do not come in boxes. Everything else comes in a box with miniatures, generally crew boxes which contain that masters upgrades.
  4. I think that's thematically moved to Banjonistas with their Dueling Banjos.
  5. They also entirely depend on what they're hitting.
  6. It's got the same aesthetic problem. It fits with Lynch, the Dreamer and Pandora but would be really out of place with Collodi, Lilith and Zoraida - and Titania but I'm not sure if those masters were considered with the design of the Emissaries. Like Outcasts the aesthetic differences between crews in Neverborn is huge. So they went with the 'Malifaux defending itself' angle of Neverborn which while not aesthetically similar for many crews it's at least thematically at the core of the faction.
  7. I thought it might be since there's depressions that could be eye sockets but giventheir position I'm thinking it's a beak inside the mouth.
  8. Yes that's a mispack. There is definitely one standing on a rock howling to the moon. Put through a mispack claim.
  9. It's plastic though. It'll weigh next to nothing even if she is bigger than te current Nekima.
  10. Eh, looks like a sturdier leg than the two Young.
  11. Very interesting that she will be a general release. I'll happily eat crow now that there's precedent for general release alternates.
  12. No one is happy about Cuddles. Cuddles also get complained about faster than buffs are applauded because Cuddles destabilise the game faster than buffs, because a Cuddle will instantly alter peoples current playstyle, while a buff takes time for people to test and figure out. However, dragging 'false advertising' into it is a bit absurd.
  13. Doppleganger is one of those models where people act like it's the second coming, but really it's just a very good unit. You can do well without it. Insidious Madnesses on the other hand are some of the best scheme runners for Neverborn you you're going to want to get them. Wk 7 is impressive, but when you consider Incorporeal they just zip around the table. If you are determined to play Pandora and flip marker heavy schemes you'll want them available.
  14. Huggy was a huge sticking point for me to the point where I never started Lynch. Now I will.
  15. No game with asymmetric forces will release perfectly balanced units that do not need errata. None. Some companies choose not to errata and just leave the imbalance for the next edition, some, like Wyrd, errata during the edition. Playtesting is done by a handful of people, then fine tuned in a larger open playtest, but even in the open playtest you still only get a small percentage of the overall community, and those smaller groups have their own biases and playstyles which affect how they test units. Once models hit the greater population with convenient plastic models and unit cards, more issues roll in. A good example is the rat engine. It was in the game for over a year (maybe 2 years?) before it became a problem. It became a problem because the brotherhood of the Rat and Hamelin boxes were released and people had easy access to Rats, Rat Catchers, Rat Kings and the Obedient Wretch. In testing, those models were more limited due to being in limited metal supply, so it likely didn't get looked at as much.
  16. This one was also shown. https://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2017/8/1/894112_sm-.PNG
  17. They did a '2017 errata' bundle, you'd think they'd do 'faction wave' and 'full book book' bundles even if there's no discount.
  18. Very much doubt it. They've been coy about it but my impression is it will be their own crew builder incorporating cards, but will cost money.
  19. I'd love an app that let you build a list and then track the game. Clickable wound buttons, ways to add and remove conditions with automatic effects like wound loss on end of turn, etc. Mayanet does this sort of thing for Infinity as well as making information a lot more accessible and it makes games of Infinity much easier.
  20. Minor breaches, both permanent and time sensitive are not new. The Ten Thunders have their own in Promise, which is how they've been getting to and from Malifaux. Ever since the Governor Generals attempted ascension, more and more random breaches seem to have been appearing. So at least that part of your idea is fine within the framework of Malifaux.
  21. I use Vallejo, P3 and Army Painter. I stopped using Citadel when they overhauled their paint line and changed their colour tones for the... third time? I don't like having to hunt for equivalent colours when a tone is changed halfway through painting.
  22. They said in the comments it's at about 430k. Outside of a super impressive gencon driving a lot of late pledges (it'll take about 200 minimum level pledges) I think we need to accept that you'll need to go dual commander or higher to buy them rather than getting them free.
  23. The Swordfighter upgrade that's already been previewed here. Gives her a (2) action that lets her place within 4", make a (1) Ml action, then place within 4" again. If the (1) Ml action did any damage, she gets the condition Counterstance, which gives her a positive twist to Df duels and a built in mask (to auto trigger Riposte) for the rest of the turn. Also gives her a (0) that lets her discard 2 cards to name an enemy master, henchman or enforcer and get a positive twist to flips against the named model until the end of the turn.
