    • Hi all, Did all the wallpapers disappear off the Wyrd website? Keeps coming up with a blank page for me. Thanks!
    • Yes, The damage ignores armor, or  incorporeal or is irreducible, so the blast damage will still have that property.
    • Good day, sorry for bad English, I have a question about the two abilities in the attached pictures firstly will Blast damage ignoring armor here secondly, the damage from the blast which is added by the bonus action will ignore incorporeala and irreducable by Rams trigger? Thank you.
    • Cheers, Wyrdos! The campaign to decide Nia’s Fate ended last Friday. After thousands of games, Tri-Chi and the Brewmaster have emerged victorious! If you’re curious about the final standings, take a look: Tri-Chi Bandit Redchapel Cadmus Savage Honeypot Marshal Academic Let’s raise a glass to not only the Bayou’s champions, but to all who participated. Hopefully this campaign offered a great opportunity to get models on the table and spark some friendly rivalries at your local stores! Now, let’s get to the good stuff. Nia’s gotten some new threads since we last saw her, as have her Gremlin associates. Pretty spiffy right? As promised, Tri-Chi will be receiving Nia as a keyword model. A mechanical rework is also going to take place to better incorporate her into the crew, which gives us a chance to shake off some of the dust from Brewie’s kegs. You can expect an updated Nia model and her concluding story during fall of this year! In the meantime, let’s take a look at two new releases that’ll fit in very nicely with Tri-Chi any day of the week: the mad mixologist and his connoisseur of croak, Hoochdini and Hopscotch (shown with his optional dapper accoutrements.) Painted by Angel Giraldez Hopscotch and Hoochdini Hoochdini Hoochdini is a model with tools for a variety of situations. The “I Need a Volunteer!” Action for example moves Hoochdin, then Heals or ends a Condition on the target, then can declare a variety of useful Triggers. This extreme versatility gives Hoochdini options for a lot of situations. Hoochdini is also amazing at handing out Conditions; between Ale-Drench Blast and Prestidigitation, Hoochdini can load targets up with Poison, Burning, and Distracted as the situation warrants. Rounding out the package is a surprising amount of survivability. Everything on Hoochdini’s card has a range of 6” or higher meaning he doesn’t need to stay too close to the battle to be useful. When targeted, Evasive and Butterfly Jump will allow him to survive the encounter. In Tri-Chi Tri-Chi Crews appreciate everything that Hoochdini does. Ale-Drench Blast’s built-in Poison +2 and Blasts are great for spreading Poison around on friendly and enemy models. Prestidigitation’s Distracted is helpful for models with Drunken Kung Fu like The Brewmaster, Moonshiner and Moon Shinobi. Possibly the most exciting thing about Hoochdini in a Tri-Chi crew is the Spiked Coffee Trigger on “I Need a Volunteer!”. In most Crews the Poison from Spiked Coffee would be damage, but in a Tri-Chi crew both the Poison and the Focused are positive effects. One thing to note, Tri-Chi crews aren’t known for using Glowy Tokens, but Hoochdini really likes them. Between Work the Stage and the built-in Delicious Finish Trigger, Hoochdini can easily generate two Glowy Tokens a Turn. He can then use these Tokens to either increase the range of his Actions with Toad-al Power or add suits to its duels, which is good for making sure the Gremlins are served their Spiked Coffee. In Wizz-Bang Like in Tri-Chi, in Wizz-Bang Crews Hoochdini can still target friendly models with his Actions. Since Ale-Drench Blast does a minimum of 1 damage, it is another way to set off Hard Knock Life. That said, since a majority of Hoochdini’s Actions include a negative Condition like Poison or Distracted, he isn’t the best model to damage friendly Wizz-Bang models. Rather he’s a competent healer with “I Need a Volunteer!” and the “Hey It Worked!” Trigger. This doesn’t mean Hoochdini is only a healer. In Wizz-Bang, Hoochdini appreciates the easier access to Glowy Tokens. With a steady supply of Glowy Tokens from other models, he can use Toad-al Power’s range increase more often so his Ale-Drench Blast can generally target enemies at 12” instead of 8”. This is very powerful when paired with the Trapped Door Trigger which allows Hoochdini to Place an enemy into a disadvantageous position.  Hopscotch If Hoochdini has a little bit of everything, Hopscotch is more focused on ping damage and movement tricks. Hopscotch’s Sticky Tongue is a standout because it allows Hopscotch to Place friendly or enemy models into base contact with itself without a TN. Combining Sticky Tongue with Creep Along and Slippery allows Hopscotch to effortlessly navigate a battle and position itself to get a friendly model out of danger or an enemy into it. Hopscotch is interesting as he’s the second Tri-Chi model with Perverse Metabolism. This means that loading it up with Poison from things like its Drinking Problem Trigger or the Have a Drink Action will make it sturdier as the game goes on. In Tri-Chi In Tri-Chi, Hopscotch is a sturdy model who isn’t the most concerned with the Poison game. Hopscotch appreciates Poison because it fuels Perverse Metabolism, but it does not have Abilities like Too Drunk to Care or Triggers like Drunken Strength. This makes Hopscotch an independent model that is able to pitch in wherever needed. In Tri-Chi Crews, Hopscotch will focus on what is most useful each round. It may pull some models up to itself with Sticky Tongue, Creep Along after a friendly model to Drop a Scheme Marker, or Bite something with the Undersea Toxins Trigger to give Poison and Injured. In Wizz-Bang In Wizz-Bang Hopscotch enjoys being in the center of the Crew. Where Hoochdini’s Actions do damage with Conditions, Hopscotch is mostly focused on damage alone. This makes it a great model to set off Hard Knock Life on friendlies. Using Sticky Tongue to Place a friendly model into base contact with Hopscotch is very efficient as it Places a friendly model, gives it Fast, and a Glowy Token. The Bad Trip Trigger makes Sticky Tongue even better, as a single Sticky Tongue Action with Bad Trip can set off Hard Knock Life for a large portion of a Wizz-Bang Crew. Mithridatism is notable in a Wizz-Bang Crew as this means that Hopscotch can stay near Blasts or Pulses without taking damage, and instead gain Glowy Tokens and Poison. This is critical, as without Hard Knock Life or Evasive, Hopscotch would take a lot of damage without any benefit in a Wizz-Bang Crew. Mithridatism and Perverse Metabolism allow Hopscotch to rack up Poison and passively Heal just by being near the Shockwaves the Wizz-Bang Crew is known for. That’s all for this week, Wyrdos. We want to thank all of you for helping make this campaign a great success! If you’re looking to continue using some of the materials for your own casual games, feel free to continue checking out the campaign hub below. The 3D-printable STL for Nia is also available at the webstore here, in case you want to have a copy of her for yourself. https://www.wyrd-games.net/global-campaigns
