Eyefink
Looking through the latest Wyrd Chronicles, I didn't see any mention of Von Shill's crew in the upcoming section. Does anyone have an idea when those plastics might release? He's by far the Outcast Master that holds the most appeal to me, but there's only been one Outcast box released thus far, making it hard for me to even start to throw in with them. SpiralngCadavr
Nope- I 3rd quarter at earliest, I believe 2nd has been announced and he isn't in it.
Eyefink
Boo, but thanks. Probably grab the Viks to dip my toes in the Outcast waters.
SpiralngCadavr
Yep. Currently Lazarus is the only plastic friekorps mini...

SpiralngCadavr
Oops, so I did.
Serigala
If you look at the concept art for the Friekorps crew, which includes 2x Friekorpsman, Trapper, Librarian and Specialist, only Von Schill is in an alternative pose from the metal minis. Not sure whether this means anything, but it does suggest that they haven't got any other concept art for new plastics.
Seb3110
Except for The Shill himself, everything seems to be exactly the same as the old metal minis. Too bad. Found them to be a bit static.
MasterDisaster
The trapper doesn't appear to have his cloak like the metal mini but other than Von Schill and the Steam Trunk nothing new. Also disappointing to see no Hannah in there.
Morgan Vening
Also, unless they've done an image swap, the Trapper is now left-handed.
Dracomax
Honestly, if that is going to be the crew, I kind of wish they'd just produce the steam trunk as a solo. I know all the reasons they won't, but almost anyone who plays Von Schill will already have everything else, and rather than wait 6 months for the new box set, would like the ST ASAP. Oh well. While wishing for unlikely things, I wish I had enough money to just go up to Wyrd and say "give me one of everything."
LunarSol
The trapper doesn't appear to have his cloak like the metal mini but other than Von Schill and the Steam Trunk nothing new. Also disappointing to see no Hannah in there. They regularly image swap the art to make the cover of the box sets more dynamic, which results in a backwards looking sculpt. McMourning's box has both the Flesh Construct and Canine Remains flipped, and Hired Swords flips Vik of Blood and 2 of the Ronin.

Found them to be a bit static. I actually quite like the current static Von Schill pose, looks like he's considering how best to disembowel you, same for the Specialist, he's picked his spot and is now spraying fire everywhere. I do agree on the Korpsmen though, still not particularly fussed on them.
Claymore65
Yeah, I really hope either A: Hannah is in the box or B: I can get the Steam trunk seperate. I know it won't happen, but it won't be fun buying a second of literally every other model in there. Still, the art looks pretty nice. I love the trapper pose, and I don't mind any of the other either. I'm not sure whether I prefer this Von Schill pose or his original, but it's not really a big deal since I might have to buy both anyway... Rekeiji
I very much doubt a plastic Schill box would have that art and models. Just look at the size of the Steam trunk! Thats not a 30mm base mini. Not sure I like that version of Schill either, a bit too much movement
Hateful Darkblack
I'm super happy with my Steam Trunk proxy: a Discworld Luggage model.
SpiralngCadavr
It wouldn't be the first time a totem were huge or a model didn't fully fit on its base. The gas masks in it actually look about in scale with the models. And yes, a little disappointed in the set being so similar in pose and composition to the original, especially since Hannah is in the first book and the librarian and tracker aren't. decker_cky
I very much doubt a plastic Schill box would have that art and models. Just look at the size of the Steam trunk! Thats not a 30mm base mini. Steam trunk is actually going to be errata'd to be the second 70mm based model. Need to get more use out of the base after the dragon required it.
Red_Starrise
Surely you're not serious Decker. I hope that's just a sick joke... a 70mm totem?!
HtUnliving
So OT, but Hateful Darkblack, where the blazes did you get that?
Rekeiji
So OT, but Hateful Darkblack, where the blazes did you get that? If you mean the Luggage model Micro Art Studios has a range of very nice Discworld models. I also have the Luggage for the Steam Trunk and a Nanny Ogg for Zoraida... or Brewmaster. http://elementgames.co.uk/wargames-and-miniatures/micro-art-studios/discworld-miniatures

It was in my Friendly Local Gaming Store! I painted it up in the same colors as the rest of my Von Schill crew (black with green wash and trim) and it looks like it fits right in. David Blank
I am kinda confused by the art. Since the Librarian and the trapper are Wave 2. So why would they be in the Wave 1 box? Also why have Hannah in the book as his henchman and not be in the plastic box set?
Drool_bucket
@MaliDave, I am desperately hoping that the preview artwork is not the actual artwork used to the new plastics. The poses are the exact same as the metals and it would both be extremely disappointing and a shift away from why Wyrd has been doing with their new plastics. My hope is that Wyrd was just releasing a crew photo for them, not preview artwork.
David Blank
OK I hope you are correct. I would like to see a full photo of Hannah soon, as I am dying to get her on the field. State and looks wise.
