So sometime in January then. Because things going wrong seems to be this years theme for wyrd...Through no fault of their own, I'm sure, but they have had rather a string of irony in regards to bad things happening.

Just the basic; two books, a deck, miss terious, and the sword and blade set. Still, I wish it had gotten here a mere 2 weeks earlier, when I had everyone excited about it... Oh well, if it ends up on the big shelf of games I bought and hope(against hope) to play someday, so be it, I guess. ( I need a sad gremlin emoticon...)

Yeah, Given the track record, we really should have been operating under the assumption that saying that meant there was no possible chance they would be sent out before the end of the month...

It might be future proffing for upgrades. Imagine an upgrade that gave all Showgirl attacks a trigger, for instance. Or that gave all constructs a :tome Surge...

Honestly, the only thing that really angered me was the thought that it might be sold at Gencon before being sent out to backers, because that would have felt a bit like betrayal. While I am glad that the product is getting sent out, it still doesn't make this a well run Kickstarter campaign. I still do not believe Wyrd "get" kickstarter. Nonetheless, great news. Hoping to have the books in time to run the game scheduled for my group next weekend.

I'm not sure I would want to go through Facebook for shipping information/request changes like "Put my stuff in one shipment" Especially since I don't use the same name on Facebook as on the KS or here...

Keep in mind that every 1" is about 1 yard. therefore, a 2" gap is six feet, and a 3" gap is 9". most models can cover 4-5" in one move, so if I were to house rule it, I think I'd probably cap it at 1" per 1" of Ht—a Bayou gremlin could jump 1", A human or other Ht 2 could jump 2", a Rail Golem could jump 4, etc., with the proviso that it cannot move more than it's Wk in doing so.

Well, If someone opens a thread basically saying, "Please, tell me how to use this" and the entire thing devolves into people saying "you can't, it's broke, broke,broke"Then I would think that would tell a designer something—Either they let a lemon slip through, or the use they intended is extremely non-intuitive. Both would seem helpful. I think the great thing with a 0SS upgrade fix would be the potential to have multiple, different fixes. Sure, you can only use one at a time, but it seems like it would make for an interesting choiceto a player, while still serving the purpose of fixing the model without unduly increasing confusion potential.

You also remain unable to cheat against impossible to wound.

As I understand it, Sonnia's burning is all after damaging, whereas the burning from stalkers happens at the same time as damage, so if a stalker kills a model, you can get anew stalker from it. Correct me if I am wrong, though.

I could have sworn the free move was official in M1E, but I could have been taking the forum's word for it. That being said, Even if it wasn't, I'd still rather have it as a house rule, simply to keep bookkeeping simple as possible. I'd rather have a free "flip" to everyone than have to keep track of who is hanging where. YMMV, I guess.

Tara can take it without a merc tax. I'm actually considering it from the perspective of both Sonnia and Ramos. The issue is really that it doesn't do anything that most masters can't already do better with more durable models and no merc tax any more. Honestly, I don't even really know if spider spam is the best use in a Ramos list, just the first thing that comes to mind. But then I've gone on record saying I never thought it was overpowered, just over-represented due to being easy to see the use of.

1. If you decided it is ht 3, then it is 6". Vertical height is usually considered to be much more flexible than other hts. 2. My guess(and this is a guess, based on M1.5, so likely wrong) is that, given that you start the move in base contact with the ladder, it is 6", and then a free move equal to base width over onto the top of the building. If for no other reason than it doesn't require you to keep track of position beyond where the model actually is.

Well, hearing that Mech Rider got a Cuddle, I was all suited up to be "OMG cuddled to oblivion, they ruined my model, OMGWTFBBQARGLEBARGLE!!!" But I read the errata, and I'm mostly okay with the change. Also, Typo alert: the decaying aura says "The portion os the ability" pretty swure you meant of... EDIT: Well Crap. Malifaux child can't summon spiders any more. I'll have to update that on pull my finger...I'll have to play it, but it feels like it might be underpowered now.

The problem is that that is essentially the way that Wyrd has approached Kickstarter. As such, when people complain because that is how they backed it, they are not unjustified.

I should probably have been more specific, in that when I said, not all of them, I was referring to the idea that all the monsters of myth/legend came from visions/creatures of Malifaux. There is plenty to suggest that, while much more rare, Earth does have its share of monsters that may have nothing to do with Malifaux or the breach.

Personally, I think there would be a lot less vitriol if the update we were given on the kickstarter had been told to us a week or two ago, and we had gotten the "aWyrdPlace" explanation on the KS site. The problem is that we have different information being given to different people(and the more in depth information being given on a forum that has little to do with the kickstarter specifically, when it should be on the kickstarter site) as well as very little information, only really given out when someone complains loud enough. It's like they want to hear constant complaining. Even the people who have B@$%ched the loudest and longest have mostly conceded that the problem is the radio silence, and not so much the wait itself; when it takes 7+ weeks to hear anything, especially with Gencon approaching, people get very nervous.

Yeah, I'm not going to blame Wyrd for Fed-ex(or whatever service they use). But when they ship, compared to selling copies at Gencon(I also am not going to blame them for giving out use copies for demos. I like to think I am reasonable) is something I can hold them accountable for. and I will. To be honest, it would probably hurt my interest in Malifaux as well. I certainly would not be purchasing enough product to get a nightmare crew, in that case.
