  1. @Scatterbrain: Open them with 'Paint'. Select 'Change size' or press ctrl. + W. That's what I always do. Quick and easy.
  2. You could also choose any picture as a design/make one yourself, print it out, glue it onto mdf/cardboard/plasticboard and cut it out. Use a 50mm base as a tabloid. This way you can make all sorts of markers, Hungry Land, Strike, Stash, Wagon, Germinate, Wind Wall, Fire Wall etc.
  3. Plain old 50mm bases or cardboard cut-outs. Since they are blocking and impassable, you could glue something on them, a statue maybe. But I find that flat markers give you a better overview of the game.
  4. Which we would not want, really. While I like Infinity, those rules are messed up (overbload, ambigious writing, rules influencing other rules way ttoo much etc.) ++++ end of off-topic +++++
  5. @Merchant Infinity also has streamlined weapons. And you have to print out a list every time you play beforehand, otherwise you will have to browse through all the options available. Also, there is no extra text for the singular models, so if Wyrd would get rid of cards, they either had to include more general rules (accomplice, Bulletproof etc. etc.) into the main rule book AND you would have to print rules and triggers extra each time you make a crew or - if you are using a tablet - swipe around each time you want to look up something (which you can actually already do). So basically, players would spent much time flipping through the rule book and nothing much else was gained....
  6. Before I forget and it is too late, I pledge a Brass Arachnid (4) and an Ice Golem (10) for a total of (14) for Henchman level. Plus, I'll try to finish a couple of models that I have already started, like Ulix and McTavish. Pictures later.
  7. Some models could be marketed as 3D-Puzzles, for example, the Insidious Madness.
  8. Fantastic idea. I've seen many tables with shelves underneat or with integrated shelves, but not a table of pushed-together shelves. That's really cool if you need to save space. Right now I am lucky enough to have a room big enough for a fixed table but once my son gets the room and I have to move to the smaller one, that is going to be very helpful :D.
  9. Put down an Illusionary forest between Ironsides and the Mages, then charge Ironsides. If the Mages are too close to Ironsides to block LOS with forest, you should be able to charge the Mages instead. Granted, if Ironsides has Challenge up, you'll need a highish card to cheat the WP with Lilith if neccessary. I'd also consider the Arcane Effigy to give Lilith the evasive push. That forces Ironsides to spend her (0) on Rush 'Em, hence she won't be able to put up Chllenge. Bring Lilitu to Lure Lilith away from Ironsides after they exchanged blows.
  10. I think adding snow would work well. Do you have a bottle water effect? I think if you brushed some over the gaps between the floes it would enhance the look further. Or gloss varnish should work, too.
  11. While I spent most of my painting time on my Ulix crew at the moment, here is a sneak preview on my next crew project, which I plan to do as part of the 2018 painting challenge:
  12. I like the idea with the ice floe. But the two pieces of terrain still look a little separate from each other...floes would push a little against the rocks or gather in tighter budles around it, I think. Not sure though.
  13. This is (insert f-word) awesome!!! Increadible detail (I mean....the fridge got a plug...) paired with painting skill. Love it.
  14. I only play Ulix in Gremlins, so I can't say much about Sparks and other models. What Sparks need to work are scrap markers though, and these might be hard to find turn one without killing a (friendly) model. He does have the Mecha-pig for that - and luckily, it works fine with Ulix. The thing is, if I don't have a spot for both of them, I often don't take either. But Mechapig combos well with Penelope, which will give it +1 walk, so that's 7". If you also make it fast with Sparks, that's 21" movement in one turn. And Ulix can hitch a ride. So if that is helpful in a scheme, why not? Also, making models like Gracie fast is nice, plus handing out armour (which also reduces damage from the Hog Whisperer's reactivate, I believe).
  15. The upcoming Encounter boxes is another 'What's next', and it would be very nice if there were new story encounters in there.(Still hoping for a story encounter book with solo encounters/campaign) Maybe the box will be about Nicodem and Lady J and inlude alternative models (though unlikely, as Nicodem already got one) but after having read the latest Chronicles... Spoiler spoiler spoiler spoiler The Judge might need an alternative model. Also, I'd find it a bit weird to play a master that is already dead in the storyline. The alternative versions of them are still perfectly fine - a nice way of forwarding the plot and even being able to kill of main characters while still have a version of the same master in play. Now, every master with an alternative sculpt should be nervous ...:-P.
  16. Made it before Christmas break.... Old Major Maybe I'll find time to finally read 'Animal Farm' after already having watched the movie as a kid.
  17. I'm also in this time. Sign me in for Henchman-Lvl., please.
