  1. Burt is the model here! Do what @Scoffer said. After the possible damage of the shockwave, he needs to survive 1 activation, and he could even put some damage with "It's all in the reflexes". He should have at least 2 Glowys by now, that could help you with that. 1st AP: Move 2nd AP: Drop a scheme marker : Time for a grenade! 3rd AP: Charge someone or shoot them You can even give him inferiority complex, and he would get a free focus
  2. They're mandatory in my Wong lists and 9/10 times in Ophelia's (the other times, I use the emissary), but haven't used them with my other 2 masters (Brewmaster and Ulix). I don't like the new Rami. Raphael is a bit meh too. For me Sammy is a must, specially when I bring the Bokor too.

  4. Weird list focused on card draw, interesting! I don't have Zoraida, and not really plan to buy her (even tho I really like the Spawn Mother), but maybe I'll proxy her
  5. An alternative Killjoy would be awesome. Something to fit more his new "Fae"/Fairy theme. I'll try to come back with a name, but for now, Miss Joy could make the trick Some alternative Piglets and Warpigs to fit the Ulix Nightmare edition in the same way that "Hamelin" has her cats.
  6. I really don't see what they could bring to the crew :\ Wokous are good, they don't need to be in pairs, but if they have a friend close by (any other model) it's when you get the best of them. The Emissary is awesome and really fits the theme, so for me is a must.

    So, I got the nightmare edition of Ulix during the Easter Sale, but no idea on how to play him. I have 3 slop haulers too and that's all (2 that I intensively used with Som'er in 2nd edition and the hyper-super-mega-amazing Bob Ross edition that I can't stop loving). So, how does this little guy with the bow plays? What do you recommend me as the next purchases? I would love to have more thematic nighmare edition models, at least for piglets in the same way that Cathelyn Abernathy (Hamelin) got an extra box with more cats and the cat-catchers. Could we see this in the future?

  9. Terrifying 12 is an awesome defense. And you can use the belles to give a to the Wp if you take 1 as a "escort". Not saying they're good tho, but 7wd for 5ss with disguised and HtW is quite tanky. What I'm really missing on them is an utility action or at least more triggers in the lure (or lure +1/2"). A trigger like "Disgusting surprise: If the model ends in melee range of this model, it gains stunned". After all, at some point, the poor victim has to realize that they're zombies lol
  10. It's an useful model thanks to the easy corpse that he can provide every turn, but also because of the shielded, that will allow Reva to attack from a friendly model at 8". Worst case scenario you can use it for scheming, due to incorporeal he can get to places easily, and for 4ss, it's worth it. Of course you can just not include him and leave some SS for something more interesting, as the other people said, it's not mandatory.

  12. Some game effects Replace one model with another. When this occurs, follow the steps below. Place the new model into base contact with the original. If it cannot fit, or if the new model cannot be added due to model limits or because the original model is Buried, the Replace effect is cancelled. The new model’s Health is set to the original model’s Health or to its maximum Health, whichever is lower. If the effect that Replaced the model Heals the new model, the new model Heals at this point. If the original model had any Conditions or Tokens, the new model gains those Conditions at the same value (if any) and all Tokens. Any Summon Upgrades Attached to the original model are Attached to the new model; all other Upgrades Attached to the original model are removed from the game. If the new and original models belong to the same Crew, the new model becomes the target of any effects that targeted or chose the original model, such as Schemes, Leader designation, or lasting game effects. The new model is always considered a legal target for those effects. Remove the original model from the game. If the new and original models do not belong to the same Crew, the original model is considered to be killed. No game effects (such as placing Markers or scoring points) occur from the original model being removed. If the new model is at 0 Health, it is killed. If the original model was Replaced during its Activation, the new model continues the Activation using any remaining Actions. If the original model has already finished its Activation for the Turn, the new model is also considered to have Activated this Turn. So, current health of the Effigy + 2.

Sadly, the small zombies are already glued and painted I think that separate miniatures could be ordered, but I'm not 100% sure about it (miniatures that now come in a box with more, and before they came alone). One list I'm looking forward to try: Resurrectionist, 50 SS Soul Stone Cache: 7 [Masters] - Reva Cortinas, Leader [Enforcers] - Restless Spirit [Minions] - Corpse Candle - Corpse Candle - Lampad - Shieldbearer - Bone Pile + Grave Spirit's Touch - Draugr + Killer Instinct - Gravedigger + Killer Instinct The Gravedigger is there to help with the corpse generation. I think is a must, specially against crews that don't drop any markers. He also helps with the generation of Pyre markers due to the Cremation ability of Draugr. Worst case scenario, when he doesn't do anything relevant in the game, he will make me recover 5ss and has a decent heal. Bone Pile is there in order to face conditions. The Lampad is easy to keep alive (I was even thinking about) giving him the upgrade Grave Spirit's Touch to make him even more resilient. The Draugr is going to be the main hitter (with Reva, ofc). I was thinking about switching the Killing Instinct for The Whisper, but he doesn't really need to look to the top 3 cards when he can easily have a . Being ruthless helps him more to be the beater that he's supposed to be. His typical activation would be: Charge someone that he can kill (touching as many pyre markers as possible to get the , attack again to make sure he kills someone and get a SS from the corpse. At the end of the turn he'll get the free 4" push and next turn, repeat again. The shieldbearer is there to protect Reva, even tho she has 7ss for herself, so should be fine. The list, of course, would change depending on the opponent and the strategies, but I guess is a good place to start. Let me know what you think.
  15. Hi guys! I got the alt Reva in the past Black Friday sale, so I'm trying to build some basic crew-core for Revenants in M3E, since I won't be playing the poor dead Aloysious. I'm missing Vincent and the Corpse Candles (any good proxy for them? I don't want to buy a new box of Reva...), but so far I have the following: 3 Shieldbearer 2 Draugr Sloth Mortimer Asura 2 Gravedigger 3 Lampad Restless Spirit Carrion Effigy Probably I'll get the Carrion Emissary and the Dead Rider soon
  16. Well Samael has a nice damage output too. You could easily creep along to get into charge distance (and even avoid concealment and cover), with unimpeded, which is really good this edition. Shoot twice thanks to rapid fire (if you're lucky or want to spend some SS you'll get Ricochet and +4 burning, +2 on each model) and end up charging, which would give you a to the attack. So, in a single activation: Moved 12", ignoring terrain. Shooting twice for a minimum of 4 damage +2 burning Melee attack withing 1", with a to the attack. And with counterspell, shielded, access to armor and the ability to use SS, he is can handle an activation of a non-beater. Not saying that he is a beast, and Alyce is definitely a better pure shooter, but now with Mv 6, unimpeded and a free push, he becomes more interesting.
  17. I've just pointed out that it's possible without shuffling the deck, not that it's worth it. Actually it can be done with a Bokor and BBB for an optimal of 4 times, which means removing 31 cards from your deck (28 to your discard pile and 3 to your hand). BBB BBB BBB uses the on the Bokor, who obeys BBB Activate Bokor -> Obey BBB That's one full activation of BBB and a single action from a Bokor. Quite efficient.
  18. Not really. You're removing 35 cards from your deck, drawing 5 and using another 5 for the flips. Since BBB has Arcane reservoir, you'll have in your hand 7 cards. Which leaves in your deck a total of 2 cards This counting that you haven't flip for anything else, ofc.
  19. Wait until the release of the boxes for Som'er. But most likely the basic one and some that has the Bayou Gremlins. With that, it's a good start. After, you can try to get some extra support models like the Banjonistas, Spit Hogs and Gremlin Criers. My favourite list so far is this one: Soul Stone Cache: 7 - Som'er Teeth Jones, Leader - Lenny Jones - Big Brain Brin - Georgy and Olaf - Old Cranky - Skeeter - Skeeter - Good Ol' Boy - Banjonista Big Brain Brin is there for the Arcane Reservoir mainly. This crew is very card hungry, so that extra card is a nice addition. The Banjonista is there just to give the free push to everyone. You will want to summon as many Bayou Gremlins as possible and the other support models when you think you need them: Good Ol' Boys: Whenever you need more damage. Spit Hog: When you need some healing and movement tricks. You'll be summoning at least 1 each game. Gremlin Crier: For scheming and annoying the enemy big hitter with the slow.
  20. Those jacks are the ones I have! Full MK1 mercenary army! (Magnus is the legitimate ruler!) I'm telling you, cold soldering is amazing for them. I think that there are worse models than the Som'er and his family. As I said, with the proper glue, it becomes way better. Anyway, I think that Wyrs is making great progresses with the kits, and most of the time without saceifice the details and the pose of the miniatures :)
  21. No point of comparison. Make sure you're using proper plastic glue for modelism (Revel or Uhu are my favourites). For the Warjacks in metal: cyanoacrylate with the activator or the best is using some 2-component "cold soldering" glue, like Nural-27 (https://www.gravibase.com/en/products/henkel/pattex/nural-27/). With that, I had some warjacks falling from the table and not loosing a single piece Actually, the worst thing ever is the PVC, models bulky and ugly AF, and no real good glue for them.

  25. I'm playing a game with a character that murder prostitutes and resurrect them, while keep them being prostitutes. I know exactly what I'm playing, and I like it. There is a lore, a story behind it to justify that those things are like that. This doesn't have anything to do with political correctness, I'm not a SJW. My opinion is that the deck sexually objectifies women, specially once you read the text. Like I said, before reading the text I just though "ok, this is not for me, but I can't see anything wrong about it". But once you read the texts, the deck just transforms strong female characters in sexual objects. And no, I don't have an instagram account, but won't be my 100 time in 4chan. But you know what you're getting into. I'm not against sexuality or eroticism, I'm just against sexualization for the sake of sexualization. Like I said before, if that's the address that Wyrd wants to support, at least they should follow it in both ways. I guess that in Instagram there also are "hot fit men" in erotic positions. Stuff like this is what perpetuates the vision of women as "pieces of meat", and in my opinion, it's a shame to see strong cool female characters reduced to that.
