I would trust a man with a name like this Although to be fair, Wyrd is very methodical about their fixes to the game, and overall erratas. So if this does end up cropping up more, they might make a move, but I do believe they will wait to see it become more of an issue. Plenty of tournaments coming up during the summer, right?

Yeah for sure. Straight QT3.14.

I think the biggest issue with controlling the pace of the game, as you say, is that if you can manage to get off a single alpha-strike exclusively because of that pace control then you can effectively neuter your opponent. And while this doesn't, in itself, guarantee you've won, it means that you are becoming far beyond in control for the match as things progress. Or at least, that's how I understand this to be an issue. The control itself is not game breaking, if that's all it enabled. But the issue is it then lets you take advantage of other far riskier moves, like throwing your heaviest hitter into someone's whole crew, and eliminating the risk normally associated there. I'd also like to point out that, while Icemyn stated the conversion of points throughout the process of transforming the rat engine stays at 8ss, I am curious of the issue with that. I think the key difference between Rats and the other two options you stated, for Arcanids and Abombs, they can go back and forth. So, I'm not looking at my books right now, but is that not true for the Rats? Because if the rat transformation is one way, then I think that is the reason they believed it was alright to allow. Where as the other two you listed need the cost variation because they have the potential to reverse the transformation, and if on equal pricing, there would be no reason not to transform back and forth? I could be wrong on this point, I'm more bringing it up for discussion since I'm not a high level player, and curious if this is true.

I only started following them in the past year about (Around when Shifting hit, I started paying much more attention; Yay Mordheim style campaigns!). So I can't say anything for sure, but would they really spring a release with so little information out already? I guess cons are for Hype-release, but the only thing they've really put out is those, what, two arts? The Background (In the Wyrd Backgrounds section) and the art that.. is really just a different angel of that girl in that background lol. (I guess I've heard that some of the designers have talked about it on blogs or interviews or something at some point, I saw a user posting quotes from a dialog about The Other Side, but I still haven't heard much at all, it certainly doesn't have much information when you just google it). I guess it'd be cool if it released, I would just figure they'd hype it more before hand. But what do I know

Wyrd playtest their games? I find that hard to believe I guess we know the name of the next book though, what was it, Ripples in Time? Waves of the Future? I forgot already, what the heck. Either way, it's time to make way for the Malifaux oceans, or something, by the sounds of it. BTW, I thought Silurids were all rainbow colors and cool looking, this thing is just.. green. It could have at least been Pink for the Iron Painter round it's shown off during

Anything you can demo with, as far as I know. I know that even if you simply paint up the small amount of models in the Starter set you can sign up for Henchman. It's really just them wanting you to have models that have time and dedication put into them to put your best foot forward with new people being shown the hobby. It's far less interesting to play with completely unpainted models.
