  1. I'm sure quite a few people will appreciate it :1_Happy_Puppet1:
  2. An excellent good read that shows the dynamic of the battle very well. Also, the fact that you mention all the triggers used and analyze mistakes you made make this report a very instructive one. The only thing I'm missing are some pictures:ShortLeg_Puppet:
  3. They all look fantastic and The Mechanical Attendant stands out for me as the brightest and best looking mini. Any chance of giving away your recipe for this wonderful yellow? Good luck with the auction, I hope there will be some high bidding!
  4. That's both gruesome and awesome. The Simulacrum is just a nasty piece of meat! I like the way you painted large areas of skin - nice shades and highlights without making it look dull. Sebastian looks excellent too but I think the chainsaw could use a few different shades of metallics.
  5. Very nice paintjob on the whole crew, they look great put together. The only thing I'm not sure about is Coppelius' left arm, or rather the angle at which it's glued, looks a bit weird.
  6. I'd give it a solid 9/10 as I don't think much better results could be achieved in such a short period of time (at least, without using airbrush).
  7. These elements are made of resin and I bought a set on allegro.pl
  8. I had a blast painting them. The sculpts are really great. They seemed a bit too small on a regular base so I added a chest/barrel. They also served as test models for bases that I'll be using for my Neverborn crews. Each of these took about an hour to paint so they were fairly quick paintjobs. While it's nice to make them more unique by preparing themed bases for each crew, I wanted to be able to mix them easily when preparing crews for gaming. Basing all of the minis from this faction on the same type of base gives me more versatility and it also means that whatever crew I come up with, it will always look more or less coherent. As always, c&c are welcome!
  9. I used to play Mordheim a few years ago - I run a Possessed warband than. Nice game with cool fluff and some great minis. One thing your bands seem to have in common are the vivid colors you used. Since it's done throughout the whole band, the effect is really nice. Plenty of nice conversions there, especially in the Possessed band (this one does offer great opportunities for adding changes). My favorite has to be the Brothers of Sigmar band - great conversions and I really like the browns there.
  10. I like the coherent look you have for the whole crew and Seamus' striped suit is just great!
  11. It most definitely is! Looks great, could you share your secret recipe for making one ?
  12. Some great minis you got there. I'm not a big fan of the HR's cloak though. I like the idea behind it but it just looks a bit too bright imho. Other than that, great work all around!
  13. Looks really nice so far, a great, hulking beast with a very nice base. I like the way you dealt with its head - the size and the place you put it on is excellent.
  14. Thanks for the bigger picture - they do look nice! And Bete is also pretty cool - great mini and your painting does it justice.
  15. I use Army Painter primers, different colors depending on what I'm working on. In general I start with black primer over which I lightly spray a grey one. AP stuff works great both with metals and plastics.
  16. Some great looking posters, I'll probably print them and add to some of the terrain I have. Great work and thanks for sharing!
  17. Remember that you haven't played Malifaux until you actually see some nasty of great effects the Jokers bring to the game :Puppet:
  18. Looking good so far, can't wait to start working on my plastics !
  19. Great read, thanks for sharing that. I ordered the Derk Debts set along with a few of he Neverborn plastics just because I liked the models but now I can see that they're going to be fun to play with too.
  20. Looks really nice and has a great ethereal feel to it. Some nice terrain in the background too.
  21. Where did you get that running cactus model? It's awesome
  22. A very good read. Great to see new releases put into creative use. If I played Arcanists, he'd probably be #1 on my to buy list.
  23. Thanks for the encouraging comments, they will keep me motivated to write more battle reports. I got it at Allegro.pl which is is a Polish online auction website. It was more than a year ago and unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the user/store who was selling them. If I somehow find it, I'll share it here.
  24. Great work all aroung, I really like your style with smooth highlights and very well chosen colors. Kira looks particularly fantastic and the gremlins are also very impressive.
  25. Bloody well painted :1_Happy_Puppet2: I like the dark colors you used, make him/it? look even more more intimidating.
