Falconrider
Has anyone else noticed some Malifaux type characters appearing on tv or in movies. Today i watched 47 Ronin and the scene where Keanu Reeves fights a creature in the pit is a dead ringer for Killjoy, also in this weeks episode of Vikings when Athelstan looks under his bed he sees Huggy. rancor709
The quick and the dead has a lot of malifaux vibes without the magic but I think it captures the guild very well. And preacher reminds me of sue
Falconrider
I don't think i've seen that one, might have to give it a watch. Another i forgot about is Wolverine, the bad guys suit looks like Izamu the Armour.

bertmac
Not a film but the book triumff her majesty's hero by dan abnett is quite malifauxesque.
The Zinc Lich
Also not a book, but look for Priest by Hyung Min-Woo. It's a comic about a priest who sells half his soul to a demon to stop a zombie apocalypse caused by vengeful fallen angels in the wild west. It is, by far, the most Malifaux thing I've ever seen. They also made a movie based on it. It is awful and you should avoid it at all costs. Really, just hit up the wikipedia article for "Wierd West". There's a pretty good list there. Rwwin
Although not character specific, I always felt that the Robert Downey Jr Sherlock Holmes films had a very steampunk bent to them that matched the feel of Malifaux.
Nathan Caroland
Now if we can only get Robert Downey Jr. to play a character of Malifaux in a movie we would be good ... Alright, start reaching out to your executive producer type friends that you all have!
Allandrel
Stephen Sommers' Van Helsing, basically a love letter to Universal movies like House of Frankenstein. Just about every character in it could easily fit into Malifaux, and it has some really gorgeous set design. Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow, basically a love letter to Hammer movies like The Devil Rides Out. The film's versions of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman could be slotted right into Malifaux's setting.
Spence
A Malifaux movie. What a nice thought....
zFiend
A Malifaux movie. What a nice thought.... As long as it's not done in Hollywood, at least keep Michael Bay far away from it.
NoHero
Yeah no director comes to mind that could not make it a bad B movie.... except maybe Quentin Tarantino
MasterDisaster
The Superhero type character "Preest" and Big Hat guys from Franklyn could very well fit into Malifaux's themes. If you've not seen it it's a really good British film. I'd recommend checking it out on IMDB before you buy it though. It might not be for everyone, kinda weird and some may find it hard to follow. This guy kinda reminds me of Rorschach from The Watchmen.

Falconrider
Zack Snyder who directed the 300 movie comes to mind as the perfect guy to direct a Malifaux movie.
Daysleeper
I would'nt like a movie at all, the sourcematerial is way to big for one movie. It's all TV nowadays, make it a TV Show ;-)
Kalkris
If anything, Lucius needs to be portrayed by Doug Jones and voiced by either Hugo Weaving or Benedict Cumberbatch. ~Lil Kalki
Falconrider
I can just see it now on Kickstarter Malifaux the series. I'd get behind something like that!
Sketch201
Probably the movie that nails the tone of Malifaux closest (at least for me) is "City of Lost Children". It doesn't get much weirder and, well... French, than this!
