Malifauxesque characters in Movies

Also not a book, but look for Priest by Hyung Min-Woo. It's a comic about a priest who sells half his soul to a demon to stop a zombie apocalypse caused by vengeful fallen angels in the wild west. It is, by far, the most Malifaux thing I've ever seen.

They also made a movie based on it. It is awful and you should avoid it at all costs.

Really, just hit up the wikipedia article for "Wierd West". There's a pretty good list there.

Stephen Sommers' Van Helsing, basically a love letter to Universal movies like House of Frankenstein. Just about every character in it could easily fit into Malifaux, and it has some really gorgeous set design.

Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow, basically a love letter to Hammer movies like The Devil Rides Out. The film's versions of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman could be slotted right into Malifaux's setting.

The Superhero type character "Preest" and Big Hat guys from Franklyn could very well fit into Malifaux's themes. If you've not seen it it's a really good British film. I'd recommend checking it out on IMDB before you buy it though. It might not be for everyone, kinda weird and some may find it hard to follow.

This guy kinda reminds me of Rorschach from The Watchmen.

Way too many Hollywood names for my taste, that would be a total Pacific Rim all over again.. Oh the agony. :D
