GG3 and Explorers

Some of the new strats and schemes will need gametime to get a feel for but they do look exciting from an Explorers perspective. A couple of the schemes punish Henchmen, and punish models of cost 8 or above, so it's possible we'll see more value from hiring cheaper models play more of a role - which is perfect for our plethora of great 6ss or 7ss Enforcers, and of course, our beautiful Botanists.

At a first glance, I suspect that Carve a Path will play out much the same as Break The Line. Which is to say, if you own and play Nexus2, you should almost definitely pick them, hire 2-3 Botanists, and have a massive strat advantage going into most match ups.

Outside of that, between Covert Operation and so many positioning based schemes in the season, I think Treasure Map is going to be a clutch upgrade.

The list was:

Nexus2 (x3) - 6ss cache

Shambling Nest x 2

Hires

Dr. Stanley

Archivist

Nightsilk

Botanist x 3

Eyes & Ears

@Radek explained that the Archivist makes a web marker before giving the Nightsilk Tomes via Font. Silk can use web strand on a nearby totem to create two more markers, plus its bonus. 4 web markers are down, then totems can slam them, Stanley converts one to make a husk and you have 3 or 4 grow tokens on your Botanist so they are ready to go score the strat & schemes.

I would think that Jedza 1 would be a very good pick into Guard the Stash or Cursed Objects.

Guard the Stash encourages bubbling, especially in standard or wedge deployments and Jedza can keep her guys alive whilst taking control of the centre.

Again, being able to just keep your models alive kind of shuts off the enemy scoring Cursed Objects. They either have to commit hard to killing your models multiple times over to burn through the life tokens (in which case, Jedza gets more, furthering the struggle) or have ways to pull models out of your bubble. Either way, you should be able to take over the centre and squeeze your opponent out, picking off anyone who over-extends.

Obviously the scheme pool plays a large part, but she seems like a strong pick into either of those strats. She might not do as well on Covert Mission due to the need to spread out, or Carve a Path as mobility and extra AP is more important there.
