wobbly_goggy
I'm back in the UK all month with no painting facilities so need to skip June I'm afraid
Purple Mist
I just drybrushed pledged models with dark metal paint. I'm impressed by the result that's better than some other models I painted with great care and hour of painting job. But that, I selected the resin bases and found out a position for models over them. I'll divide my efforts between montly competition and the "Testosterone" Contest. Hopefully, in conclusion, I'll have one more model to add to my pledge for this month.
Burnin' Coal
I didn't manage to finish the "resurrected" Izamu that I found lurking packed away halfway through my pledge last month so he should be making an appearance here at some point...my pledge for this month will be two Shikome that have been hiding in the unmade pile for so long that they are currently 7SS each as opposed to the 8SS on the cards...so 14SS for me this month 2
Popular Post Caedrus
Well, my basic pledge for the month is done: 4 Guild Hounds (my Guild all use red and brass as their unifying colours). I was tempted to do different fur colours, but these make them a bit more like faceless minions, which I kinda like. The base attachment points still need to be cleaned up. Now onto something fun... Have fun with those brushes! Caedrus.
Burnin' Coal
@Caedrus Fast work and a great result...I think your decision to make them the same colour paid off as whilst they look anonymous somehow it makes them look more threatening plus the red and brass says "authority" 👍
Treemonkey
A bit of a break from guild green... Ophelia LaCroix ... Master ... 15 points. Let's see if I can get her finished, she's only been primed for like 5 years. If I finish her, maybe more gremlins.
Popular Post Franchute
I've worked a bit more on Sandeep's coat this week: Then, I suddenly decided to take a break from him and paint Anna Lovelace, who I might use for a tournament this weekend. Unfortunately she got decapitated in the process. She is a truly undead now, faithful to her faction. I then tried to hide the scar with some makeup. I hope the Guild won't notice. Anyway here she is for 9 ss:

misterfinn
@Franchute loving the metals on Anna! How did you achieve that nice worn, slightly rusty look?

It's a quick recipe: - I prime the model in gw mournfang brown. - I apply a brown wash (gw agrax earthshade). - Drybrush of blazing orange - Drybrush with metal colours 2
Strangely Brown
Hello all, After a turbulent May which distracted me from painting for personal reasons, I am determined to carry on with this challenge. @Franchute I'll obviously use my first mulligan for May, I'll post pictures of my pledge for this month later today hopefully. Cheers, 'Brown
prof_bycid
Hello fellow challenge painters! It is finally time for me to start building my Arcanist Arthropod Assembly Facility board. I will have the details on this project over in Terrain Talk for those interested. This month I am going to do three pieces of terrain for the board. Two 5" blocking terrain statues that will sit in a town square in front of the facility and be used for some schemes and strategies. The third piece will be the outer walls of the assembly facility (foam core and basswood in the background). @Franchute, I know you stated that terrain must be larger than a 5 mm base, but is that larger in all dimensions, or will being 5" tall make the statues work? If not, I will rethink what terrain I work on. Edited June 24, 2018 by prof_bycid Typo

Boomstick
Hark, an update! I finished up this batch of Ressers (and Bishop) for my friend just in time for a local tourney, and got a little bit of work in on a few things for me too. So, we have three Drowned (18ss), a Dead Doxy (6ss), and Datsue Ba (8ss) Then, Bishop (9ss) appearing as The Main Man himself, Lobo (as everyone does, because it makes so much sense. I'm trying with converting my version of this model to include his bike if I can find a way to fit one on a 30mm base). Puts me at 41ss completed so far this month. A quick action shot of Marlena WIP, assisting Viktoria of Ashes in not dying. And an update on the cats. Or rather, their bases. A different rug for each of them for quick identification. Still not sure how much paint I'll be putting on the actual cats, but vintage Haemlin will be painted as Black Waltz III from FFIX, and I've made hats for each of the cats so they can be his little black mages. I canabalized Caitlyn with some TTB kit pieces to create 2 cat herders. As always, lovely to see everyone's updates throughout the month! I'm trying to do better in showing WIPs and updates instead of just a big dump at the end of the month.

Popular Post PetitDalek
My progress so far, sorry for the photo quality, I'll take a better one at the end of the month. As you can see in the background, I've also started Dopple and Kade. Looks like June will be fruitful! I'm really happy how Lelitu turned out, her dress has warm orange highlights in RL. My three Sorrows are all painted in slightly different hues, purplish, blueish and greenish, because picking only one colour would be too hard 😜

Poor Kade looked like such a lovely baby, then strange purple veins started appearing on his flawless skin...

Popular Post Franchute
Hey. I've finished Sandeep Desai for 15ss, putting me at 24ss. Since I'm bad at taking pictures I decided to take several of them this time: I'm leaving for a business trip on Tuesday until the end of the month. It is very likely I wont be able to paint anything else this month. But who knows...
