  1. I only played one game with him. Since it was corner I went for 3x lead nightmare. I sculpt a hand for t2 and buried him only than... Still I'm not sure it was the best course of action. After t1 his engine run smoothly (and you probably out cards every other master in the game), but t1 is clunky for sure... Maybe we just accept that? Also Insomniac is good at placing scheme marker. I did Detonate charges with him rather easily and it was a challenge with old D.
  2. The FAQ seems clear to me... I think the mistake is probably from the person writing WW... Also, if wyrd just release quick rules focus with each new release that would solve that kind of problem (yep I'm like a broken record at this point).
  3. 4/6/8 is quite achievable too especially with the help of some soulstone! With Leap you have a decent threat range. Pack leader give you a big incentive to hire Initiate and Myranda.
  4. Again Wyrd you need to publish a quick rules summary/ FAQ with your new release... This is really low cost and it will help tremendously!
  5. Malifaux is a game with a strange rules set. In tournament you can't do that. As Maniaclke said, you have to figure it out by yourself and quickly! Moreover your opponent is not allowed to look at your discard piles. So if you're in a competitive setting (and you don't have a perfect memory), I thing your best shot is to count severe and jokers for you and your opponent. This is manageable (12 severes and 2 jokers) for me; so I can tell if my opponent have severe left or not... Beside that it's just to much. In casual game I'm happy to let my opponent check is last cards and my discard. I would also keep the reveal cards open information.
  6. Imo the only real mistake here is the fact that Reva can easily kill herself when obeyed. This was probably not intended and will affect the playability of this master (she just seems weak to me but that's an other story). The others other can be fix by RAI / common sense (and be faqed later). Hoffman is obviously a poor design, but the way Wyrd seems to handle these is to let people play with him for a bit and than do an errata.
  7. Well this is really noble of you, but I think if the mistake was genuine and wasn't catch during the game, it's not a big deal. Even for experienced player there's many situations in malifaux that occurred very rarely and missing something happened.
  8. Not too bad if you use proxy for totems. You'll have a decent feel of the game.
  9. I only saw the rabbit in action in a wong crew (my opponent)... It was... not spectacular.
  10. Really? For me Malifaux is more a satyr than anything else. Not a lot of characters are "deadly serious" imo... They're kind of all o wrong the top (and I like this a lot).
  11. I think this why we see a lot more free scheme markers placement on the new title cards. Righ now the scheme involving multiple interact action are not efficient in comparison too the other scheme. Also, there was an article on the third floor war website about scheme pool. Basically their argument is that randomly generated scheme pool (or poorly selected one) are horrible. I tend to agree. Look at this scenario from R1 of the teams cup : Corner - Break the line Research Mission Hidden Martyrs Vendetta Breakthrough Detonate Charges ... Who will take Breakthrough here? Who won't take Researh ?Even detonate is way less likely to be taken than the other passive scheme (vendetta or hidden).

  14. A mere Silurid will never be the real TFM... Never! Yeah, but we need to wait and see if there's any repackaging that come with the new title... I can't believe Wyrd will ask there customers to buy 8 boxes just to get the effigy... But even with a repackaged, Swampfiend is still an expensive keyword spread on 2 factions (fortunately those are the 2 factions I play).

  16. Yeah... No range / LOS on that trigger make it awesome. This could lead to huge swing and will make it extra important to win the initiative on key turns against Z2. Edit standard Z turn : interact to drop a scheme; have an other model drop a scheme and an other interact (strat/scheme/denia). lost knowledge on the scheme marker you just drop. Stone for mask if needed. Draw 2 cards and select a useless model to activate next. Lost knowledge to summon an effigy removing the other scheme dropped (intrepid, shadow or lucky seems the most likely). Bonus action to buff key beater. Draw a card. The useless model activate. you activate you effigy than accomplice in to your buffed beater to kill a key model. Your oponent rage quit / flip the table. You need two 5 and a 7 (and 2 stones if you don't have any tome/mask) to do this... no resist.
  17. I don't see why you couldn't. Before and after is a restriction on hiring.
  18. I'm eager to play Krugan with Titania!! I'll gladly pay 9ss for that set of ability. Aeslin + Emissary + Krugan + Rex is a great base for a Titania elite. Krugan and Rex give extra movement to your less mobile pieces wich, I think, will benefit Aeslin greatly (or maybe something like killjoy, but I don't think it's enough to make it good).
  19. The best bayou versatile are indeed the Bokors 😜. Seriously what @Math Mathonwy said. I think the most important right now is the Emissary (because of Leyline). But in general it's a great model and, imo, the only one that is a must buy.

So if you take the interact action with Z using moth witch, you can have her drop a scheme, an other model can remove all scheme in base and a third on can interact with a strat marker righ (because those are all possibilities from the interact action). That could lead to huge game swing, by denying a scheme a scoring yours all in the same activation!
  22. Well when Z hit the Doll, it's a guaranteed stun on the Mojo target. This can be a potent combo with Stench + other discards. I can totally see game when you don't summon the vodoo doll thoug... this is strange because Z2 can spend the entire game without a totem.
  23. Nice design again. Indeed weaker than the orginal models (but mama Z is probably one of the top 5 masters in the game). She can do some neat think. As a lot of new title master, she got a boost for all the scheme requiring scheme marker (arguably She could prove herself better than Old Z in an heavy scheme markers pool). Lost effigy as no faction requirement, so she can summons all the effigy of the game (and Manequin as well). This is really interesting! Vodoo doll seems a good target to redirect damage for protected. The new enforcer allowed summons or cards draw every turn. He looks like a good tarpit with a lot of movement trick. It will be hard to not declare old Z in tournament, but this one requires testing for sure!
