  1. Too true. Thank you for correcting me. 14" command range is pretty good though.
  2. Would you like to open your thoughts a bit as to why you think the Lawyers make a good addition to Neverborn Lucius? Since a lot of people don't think much of them Guild side. Do they get better Neverborn side or what's the deal here? It's not Neverborn specific, but here's one for you: Issue Command > Take Aim > Guild Lawyer's Objection!!! Objection!!! is now range 14" with a flip. And if you don't get the Ram, the range is still increased to 14". Unless there's a range restriction on MI attacks I missed.
  3. In Shifting Loyalties, it's implied that wearing a mask is synonymous with supporting Team Lucius.
  4. Welcome to the game, and the forums. You can count me as a fellow ex-GW follower, Age of Sigmar shunted me right quick into Wyrd's loving embrace.
  5. For me, it's the answer to having to take Guardsmen with Lucius. They don't have a long shelf life, but if you have a Mysterious Emissary in crew, that should mitigate your losses somewhat. Lucius + Scribe + Lawyer makes the Changeling(s) a formidable threat indeed.
  6. Moose, I love the app, and I'm excited to see your hard work pay off. Thanks for making this game even better than it already is.
  7. Care to elaborate? Lawyer buffs Coppelius defense, and objection or fees target model. Coppelius then starts collecting eyes with impunity on target model. If Coppelius doesn't finish them with his eye plucking, the Lawyer's poison will help. Sure, it takes some set-up to do perfectly, but at the bare minimum you're still causing a lot of pain and suffering. In a place like Malifaux, who couldn't use a good lawyer anyway?
  8. This is what I'm painting/planning to run currently: Lucius +Fears Given Form [1] +Secret Assets [2] +Suprisingly Loyal [1] The Scribe [2] Doppleganger [7] +Useless Duplications [1] Guild Lawyer [6] Guild Rifleman [5] Guild Rifleman [5] Mr. Graves [8] +Nexus of Power [1] Adding Candy + Best Behavior + Fears Given Form would be hilarious.
  9. Not a bad idea. I've been looking at the Crooligans too.
  10. I need more mimic synergy in my crew, does anyone have any recommendations for Changeling proxies?
  11. Here's the majority of the crew primed and ready for painting. Candy and Beckoners are on their way. Once the Changeling models are released, I doubt I'll have room for any non-mimics. Still considering the basing, might end up going for the orphanage inserts.
  12. The lawyers are pretty great. I was thinking about running Candy as Lucius' henchman, alternative damage overload with Sorrows and Lawyers.
  13. Coppelius + Guild Lawyer is an interesting combo though...
  14. The extent of my interest in the Guild are the riflemen and lawyers. I'm just playing for fun. Thank you for the recommendations, a performer or two would be fantastic. I'm such a fan of Coppelius too, though he doesn't have any direct synergy with Lucius, as far as I know.
  15. If I don't want to run the illuminated/terror tots, is it worth it to run Lucius as Neverborn?
  16. The cloaks are inspired, really like them. And you made the right choice for Hoffman's new noggin.
  17. The end goal of this is to have a Neverborn Lucius crew painted and ready to go. Unfortunately, I've hit some roadblocks, but with the creative input of the community I should be able to stay on track and get things done. Today I visited one of the local game stores, looking for Bound by Duty, as luck would have it, they had basically every crew but the one I wanted. So I consoled myself with a box of Guild Riflemen, and some paint (leather brown, purple, black, natural steel, and skintone). The riflemen are currently desprued and ready for cleaning. While I was freeing my new minions from their bonds, it occurred to me that I wanted to do something interesting with the crew's basing. After poking around the internet, I didn't quite find what I was looking for. For me, Lucius represents the horror of the uncanny, and I'd like to portray that in the basing, something that looks normal at first glance, but it reveals an unsettling nature the closer you get to it. You might say, "the Wyrd orphanage base inserts are perfect for that", but some of the bases are too obvious, it's definitely more Dreamer/Pandora territory. Maybe I should just get some regular wood flooring and paint the crevices some unnatural hue? Any insights or recommendations concerning this matter would be most appreciated.
  18. Thanks for the reply. Doppleganger is definitely on my recruit list, and a box of riflemen too. Not sure I'll get the starter, hopefully the Neverborn and Guild decks will find individual sale.
  19. How much use will I get out of the starter for Lucius?
  20. Returning player here, once upon a time I ran Nicodem and Hoffman, but our group disbanded and I eventually gave away my models. Recently, I was reminded of my interest in the Neverborn, one of the reasons I picked up Hoffman-there wasn't really a Neverborn master that I loved. The new models look great and Lucius' Neverborn connection has got my attention. Not sure if I'm going to pick up the Starter box, though I am interested in the Guild and Neverborn specific decks. My fiance has her eye on Lilith, so the starter's components (in theory) wouldn't go to waste.
