  1. It looks good, but I think it's silly.
  2. A cape on a robot. I just can't take that seriously....I don't know why.
  3. Shen Long, Mei Feng, McCabe and Lynch are the best masters, or they have the tools to deal with most crews at their disposal. Misaki is decent. But she is very easy to counter with anti melee crews (Like Hamelin) or models like Hannah and Nurse Heartsbane. Yan Lo isn't good. He just isn't. I've never played a game with him, where I wouldn't have done better with the exact same crew and literally any other master in TT. He's low damage. Chi is hard to come by and it's needed for almost everything he needs to do. Lightning dance is alright as is the spirit thing he can do, but when you add it all up, he's just not up to par. I haven't tried Brewmaster yet.
  4. 1: Reduce Austringers sh to 5 or remove the discard trigger they have. 2: Make Heartsbanes "Stay still" ability be cast 5. 3: Reduce Samaels ss cost. My choices
  5. I always warn my opponents beforehand, both of specific abilities and of triggers I might have to counter them. It's a question of empathy for me, I would hate to play against someone, who just waits for you to screw up, and then with glee tell you what you just did to yourself. But to each his own, I've only played few tournaments, but I'd always prefer being a good sport and lose a match than winning by being the opposite.
  6. My biggest gripe with summoners, is that they can get away with filling most of their list with high cost minions and then fill out the gaps with summons as the game starts. You get all of the advantages from having high cost models AND activation control. Doesn't matter how killy your master is at that point.
  7. Not bad, the borrowing mechanic sounds like fun.
  8. For me it depends on the backside of the card. The corpse marker ability has the potential to be an incredibly annoying tool. If she has a cast attack without gun icon I will shit a brick.
  9. Sort of yeah, I meant he would chisel stone and make those creations live, but the painter sounds great as well
  10. Scary fairies. Sure. Please make the Ten Thunders master a master sculptor of sorts to tie in with the Oni subtype, specifically the obsidian monsters. I will not buy it if that is not the case. I lied just now.
  11. Jack Daw. He makes you feel as if you're a jackass for playing the game, which isn't good. Screw that guy.
  12. It's exactly as advertised. Neat trick and could potentially ruin your opponents day. I would focus half the times instead to get 7-8 good hits instead
  13. One of my regular opponents play Leve once in a while, and he doesn't always charge in a match, but I don't think that's a good argument for it not being really powerful. Some games I don't have to rebuild corpus with Yan Lo, that doesn't mean the ability isn't incredible. As for the change, it is what it is. Just please don't start advocating for focus to receive a similar change (not saying you are, I just smell it on the wind). (Ps: pls make Executioner either cheaper or faster....you bastards!)
  14. In 1.5 it was Hamelin, now it's Leveticus. Why does Outcasts always get the stupidly powerful stuff?
  15. Me and my friend started playing 1.5 and I decided I would just pick a crew box solely on the look of the models, and deliberately didn't read any rules before I had done so. I ended up with Hoffman and lost my first 15 matches, but I had a blast learning the crew while doing so
  16. Yeah. Honestly didn't expect that. It's too bad.
  17. Why would you automatically lose against Kirai in any case? As for the topic; I think Myyrä nailed it on the head. It takes a practised adversary to identify when you've lost and the attrition game ressers employ can confuse you at times.
  18. I can't view the schedule anymore. Is this intentional?
  19. Phew, was about to make a post about it being to hard as Levi, having to SS to guarantee 16 dmg charges.......yay.
  20. "McMourning, seeing poor Stinky about to be felled, quickly throws 2 soulstones towards him and saves the poor things life." I can make the rules fit my theories by creative writing as well.
  21. I dont mind "Gotcha" as such, but it really depends on how the other player goes about it. If I make a mistake against an opponent I know and against familiar crews and he doesnt say anything, that is 100% okay, because the fault is mine and the same is true vice versa. If it's the first time against a finicky crew or model, then i expect someone to point out the "cheese" when we start the game and then it's up to me to remember said cheese. An example would be not explaining the Hangeds aura to a new player or Hannahs bury spell. But the most important thing is to keep a straight face. Sure it sucks to lose sometimes, but making the opponent feel bad for beating you is incredibly poor form. I know someone, who kinda just gives up in his mind very easily and just mopes the rest of the game. Really irritating when it happens.
  22. Grace and fairness makes a good opponent. Whining and playing solely for a win will make for a bad time.
  23. Depending on the strat and the terrain I regularly use her as a bodyguard for 2 archers with Blot the Sky. They work really well together.
