  1. I'm thinning down my miniatures collection, and decided to part with the following Malifaux miniatures. Please note that I'm located in Canada (but I don't mind shipping internationally). M1E avatars: -Avatar Kirai (assembled, primed black, no stat card) -Avatar Lilith (unassembled, M1E stat card included) -Avatar Zoraida (unassembled, no stat card) Looking for 30 canadian dollars +shipping for each avatar. Would let go all 3 avatars for 75 CAD + shipping. M2E Neverborn crews: models are assembled and unpainted, unless otherwise noted. I have the M2E cards if you want them. I'm willing to split the crews, but only if the deal is good. I can take pictures of the crews for those interested. If someone wants all 4 crews, I'm willing to sell the lot for 140 canadian dollars + shipping. 2. I have one (painted), but I'm in Canada. If you are interested, send me a pm!
  3. Amazing work! Truly inspiring. Best paintjob I've seen in a long time. Keep up the good work!
  4. I just noticed that the emissaries are listed at 40$ in the newsletter, as opposed to 45$ in the upcoming section of Wyrd's website. Now tell me the newsletter has the right price
  5. Strange coincidence: I just started painting my Montresor in very similar colors. Have you used Vallejo dark blue grey for the suit? Excellent paintjob, by the way! I'm not sure I'll be getting a result as good as yours!
  6. Amazing work! But I would definitely like to see more angles of the miniatures, particularly the roosters and the fermented river monks
  7. Thanks for the report, Icemyn, and thanks for pointing out these problems. But I was wondering, isn't Killjoy also a big part of the problem? Out activating your opponent is one thing, but out activating AND getting a first round unblockable delivery system for a melee powerhouse is another. As a gremlin player, I was wondering if the same kind of power list could exist with the soon to be released stuffed piglets (2pts), combined with pigapult, one or two Hog whisperers (giving rectivate), and, of course, Killjoy. Maybe with Zoraida to obey the pigapult or the stuffed piglets. I don't know, I might sound a bit naive since I'm no tounament player, but I like my Malifaux fair and balanced
  8. I would also recommand that you support your local game store. Otherwise, Meeplemart is clearly the way to go in Canada: great service, great prices, and cheap (or free!) shipping.
  9. Simply astonishing! Can't wait to see the other painted emissaries.
  10. Good painting! Keep it up! It reminds me..hey..I have gremlins to paint too!
  11. Forum rollback ate my post, so I'm reposting it... For sale, 1st edition metal Hamelin crew. Assembled, but unpainted. All models except the Malifaux rats are on wyrd sewer bases. Please note that I do not have the M2E cards for these models. Looking for 45$ USD+ shipping I'm located in Canada. Crew contains: -Hamelin the plagued -Obedient wretch -Nix -2 rat catchers -9 Malifaux rats -3 The stolen
  12. Amazing job! very realistic skin colors and great execution. Waiting for more
  13. That is some excellent excellent paintjob! I really like the color of the fur, and its shading is amazing. Only thing that bugs me: the white stitches stand out a bit too much, a darker color would have been more cohesive IMO. Keep up the good work!
  14. Small update: Santiago and the enslaved Nephilim. These were nice models to paint, although Santiago took a lot of time (lots of different textures and colors). Not the best pictures, but here goes
  15. The nurses turned out real good! I think you did a great job with the white/ off-white, and since it's a hard color to work with, hats off
  16. Great job! The scales of justice is simply stunning. The green flames and basing are excellent too! Keep up the good work!
  17. Well thanks for the kind words, but I don't think the negative comments were harsh in any way. And I enjoy any kind of comments on my painting, it's some of the best ways to improve my skills. I'll probably be able to post some more paintjob in the following weeks (yeah, I'm a slow painter). I'm working on 4 different models at the moment, and I just need to focus on one at a time to get the job done
  18. Amazing job! very inspiring (I was hesitating about which crew I would buy next, but your paintjob on that Lilith crew really shows how great the models are with an excellent paintjob, and now I've made my choice ) Care to give us some more close up shots of Lilith, Barbaros and Teddy?
  19. Yes, I've had some troubles putting highlights on Papa Loco's shirt, lots of creases, plus lots of angles... I deliberately chose to make it part of the shirt when I started painting the basecoat. I thought I would have to deal with enough details here and there, plus I wanted the off-white to be a bit more present, as it would tie the crew together (and right now, I don't know if I will be using red on most of my Guild models).
  20. So I'm coming back to Malifaux after a long break, and I'm very enthusiastic about the new plastics. I decided to go with a new faction, and the new Guild models were just too amazing to pass up (although I've already got my eye on the Neverborn...) I finished Perdita and her papa a few days ago, and I hope I can find enough time to finish the whole crew by the end of december. So here they are (comments and criticism welcomed, as always )
  21. Great looking crew here! I don't mind the dark blue, but I think you should work up the highlights so the edges are a lot brighter (white or near white). This tutorial might be helpful: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.254592518084678.1073741864.171716109705653&type=1 Cheers!
  22. Amazing work on the Hungering Darkness! the freehand really adds to the otherworldly nature of the model. And that Doppleganger is some sweet anatomy lesson
