  1. I'm excited to try the Hamelin "Evil Baby Orphanage List", using Crooligans, Candy, Cade, Iggy and Stolen. I don't know how effective it'd be, but im willing to try it out for s's and g's!!
  2. Flay allows you to cheat even if there is a (-) twist on the damage flip. Impossible to Wound prevents models from being able to cheat the damage flip, period. A model that triggers Flay on a model with ItW would not be able to cheat the damage flip, because ItW states that models may not, under any circumstance, cheat damage fips against it. I don't see why this is so hard to understand...
  3. Fluff wise, its Seamus all the way! However, I voted based on game play, which is why I went McMourning. I have been able to do a lot more with his poison shenanigans than with Seamus' table jumping shenanigans.
  4. Meh, she's kind of borring to me. Wake me up when we see Shenlong and or Hamelin!
  5. Kojo is **** (but I told you already)!! You're making me want to dust off my paints to start on long awaited projects (like Pandora/Viks/Hamelin). Good to see you painting again man, I know how much it means to you (prob more than playing on some levels!)
  6. I prefer 45, I feel like you get to bring some toys yet still are challenged to make hard choices. 50 is nice for those players (my self included now) that can only play about 2-3 times a month and want to use all their hard earned toys!!
  7. For me its Bette. I just don't see a place for her in my lists, as she seems too card intensive to actually be worth while. I may be wrong, but I just don't see my self getting much use out of her, especially for her cost.
  8. Seb is great with McMo based on the fact than Induction is amazing. Any posioned model in the aura takes 3 damage which cannot be reduced. If you can time it right and peg a model with posion +2 before they activate in the turn, it becomes 6 damage from poison by the end of the turn!! It's the passive damage from poison that makes Seb an awesome choice with McMo, Guild or Resser!
  9. Don't forget the Skin Graft abilty on the Plastic Surgery upgrade, it makes all models in 3 count as being undead. This means you can turn spiders into dogs and or Flesh Constructs!
  10. Dgraz pretty much has it. His 1.5 version played off of the story of Wild Bill Hickok and Dead Mans Hand. The Skeleton was like a nifty way to show him casting that spell, I always assumed anyway.
  11. They do pretty much the exact same thing they did last edition, no one cried broken then. Actually, Whispers was better in 1.5 because most models had no way of removing debuffs and you couldnt reduce the damage with armor. The change to soul stones is really what makes them a threat, I feel. Most Masters are around Wp6, which means if you throw down a 13 to cast Whispers against an enemy master, you have a pretty decent shot considering all you need to do is tie. Masters can no longer reach astronomical totals so they are just as vulnerable as every one else these days, thus making the Hanged well worth their points!! They are a solid 9ss model, but they do not need a change.
  12. This is a great idea! Would be so much easier storing these at my LGS than the current 3x3 wood boards we are currently using!!
  13. I thought about using these: http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Bones/z-a/77129#detail/IG_3034_1 But decided on these: http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/rats/z-a/20033 I'll mix them with the Skaven Giant Rats I'm currently using!! They make the Giant rats in there "Bones" set as well!!
  14. Back Alley into melee range and start hacking away!! Once she is engaged she can't throw fire balls at your crew. For an assasination run I like to run Seamus with BoT, Red Chap Killer and Decaying Aura. Combine that with a nurse, like others have mentioned and Criid will go down quite easy, especially without the aid of preventing damage with soul stones!
  15. Colors on the fate decks (the old ones) are pure asthetics. "Oh, I play Ressers, I need a green fate deck!!".
  16. Jady J and Rasputina are my go to M2E demo crews because they both do they're job without much need for tricks, which is why I think they're both solid crews to start with.
  17. Zombie Hookers, Redneck Goblins, Big Boobed Ninjas, Steamborgs, Magic, Cowbows!! Serioiusly though, for me its the card mechanic along with a complex system fit into a small scale skirmish game. The new rules make the game play even more complex than before, yet more simple at the same time.
  18. I'm with Rancor on this one. Seamus and his crew have a decent chunk of mobility/movement shenanigans. I don't know how popular he is in your local area, though.
  19. Until this game starts to require multiple models for units and rediculously oversized models to stay above the curve, the price for Malifaux is way cheaper than anything else out there. The new plastic kits are some of the best starter boxes for any game, and as a gamer, I'd happily spend 35-50 bucks to get me 75% of the way towards a "standard sized" crew.
  20. The damage from misery stacks in a sense, but its not from one source so models take one point of damage at a time from each source. The upgrade pretty much means you can't soul stone prevent any of the damage from Misery, however if you take 3 points from misery, you would need to make 3 different damage preventions to stop each point of damage. Also, armor wouldn't play a factor, because it always reduces to a minimum of 1, even if you have armor +10.
  21. The trick is to target models that don't have H2W like Hanged or Crooked Men. This way you can possibly get to even or on damage flips, so you can mass heal your models while damaging the enemy crew in the process.
  22. Nice!! Dougie Booms in January, I can wait (I guess).
  23. Yes, you suffer all the normal modifiers as if you were targeting an enemy model. The only difference here is, your models will heal instead of taking the damage, this applies to any damage as well (ie, your models heal instead of taking damage).
  24. Thats awesome sauce!!! Really nice job on this!!!
