morella
Just wondering, am I the only one who couldn't control myself? I managed to resist the Mantic one a while back, but I've always been fond of some of the Soda Pop minis. Anyone else back this?
Mister Monkey
Been tempted .... but not backed yet
Demonn Agram
not backed that. Don't like Soda Pop taht much, must admit. aside the EBO, I've supported: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/little-urban-achievers-28mm-miniatures?ref=live http://www.indiegogo.com/infamy-watson and am currently supporting: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/ice-hockey-miniatures-set?ref=live http://www.indiegogo.com/pirate-goblins am considering supporting: http://www.indiegogo.com/zombie-miniatures and in the end non-mini campaign that I support and think deserves support! http://www.indiegogo.com/teslamuseum
Bunny_Avenger
I'm really considering backing this. The only thing that has stopped me from backing already is the May delivery estimate. I don't want to forget it's coming. That would make a nice surprise, I guess.
Borzag
I backed this from the get-go at the $100 level. It's a game I've been waiting for for some time, and absolutely LOVE the minis. So yeah. As is I'm thinking of increasing my pledge for 2 more sets, just so I have a demo set ready to go.
Boshea
I'm mostly waiting to see if info on faction play-styles gets posted before the kickstarter ends. Definitely a fan of the range, but I like knowing what things do first. Was originally going to aim for the Corsair starter, but other than Calico Kate the rest of the corsair models don't appeal to me.
Fetid Strumpet
I was really liking Doctrine, until I saw their main minions. The woman is wel sculpted, but something about the male students art style bothers me, also not a fan of the robot librarian sculpt, which is a shame as I like the Relic Knight and the Questing knight quite a bit. morella
Yeah, I am interested to see when the next level gets unlocked (well, most of the outlines are obviously for existing minis - but the BD one I want to see as it seems like it will be awesome). As is, I am looking at getting Cerci, Doctrine, BD, and Corsairs. @Demonn Agram - some of those look quite nice - hmmmm.....
LonelyPath
am considering supporting: http://www.indiegogo.com/zombie-miniatures That one is very tempting, even at the Roamer level, I am always in need of more modern day zombies! (I have big plans, heheh). Right now though I am invested in the Reaper Bones kickstarter at Vampire level and sorely tempted to add some extras like the Zombie Dragon and extra Marines. The Relic Knights has been tempting me as well, how long is there left on it?
jmp_mydog
Relic Knights seems like it could be a really fun game. I like the concept behind collecting colors for attacks bridges some board game elements nicely. Even if the game is terrible the minis will be fun to paint. Dracomax
I'm tempted for the $100 level--probably go Shattered sword and Cersei. I just wish I saw at least one level with the book and a set. ------------------------------------------------------------- So, apparently, I missed the book each of the first 4 times I looked at the reward levels. Unfortunatly, still can't support them---I keep getting this error message"Caller Input Exception: Caller does not have a FPS Caller Account" Why you no let me give you money? LonelyPath
I wish there was a tier for book + 1 starter too. If I can afford it, I'll back this one next week unless something else (like Dark Vengeance) takes all my money away form me.
Boshea
Yeah, I am interested to see when the next level gets unlocked (well, most of the outlines are obviously for existing minis - but the BD one I want to see as it seems like it will be awesome) There used to be concept art and a test sculpt of it on the main page before all the factions got unlocked. They're called cyber ninjas I believe. N'oh and Black Diamond look to be the only factions getting new sculpts at boost 2, which I'm cool with since they're probably going to be the two factions I grab. Edit-Link They're called dimensional ninjas. Rumor is she's a questing knight and built an elite task force by hopping dimensions and recruiting other versions of herself. morella
Thanks for the link - that is going to be a nice set of minis. It seems to be going at a pretty steady pace of $20k each day - 16 days left. @dracomax - do you have a payment account set up through amazon? LordZombie
This game is so up my alley. I have backed it to get the rulebook and 2 starter sets. The minis are so anime.
Dustcrusher
Was originally going to aim for the Corsair starter, but other than Calico Kate the rest of the corsair models don't appeal to me. Was thinking Noh and Corsair, but I am the same way. I'd be better off just getting Kate herself (I like Skully too) and the other Corsair models I like. I've managed to resist this one- Reaper's insane Bones Kickstarter (over 200 minis for $100) and now Mantic's got their DreadBall project up (looks like the old PC game Speedball with future fantasy teams, which will also look nice on a Blood Bowl pitch, IMHO). I have to be choosy. The Kings of War Kickstarter has been nice so far, and it's only going to get sweeter as the new stuff starts showing up... Chucklemonkey
Counting down till Chucklemonkey posts in this thread... Damn you man. I wasn't going to but now feel like I would be letting you down..... I had been trying to resist both this and wreck age: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hyacinthgames/a-tabletop-rpg-and-board-games-project-from-chicag?ref=live I think I will end up pledging on Relic Knights. I was originally thinking the estimated delivery date would also put me off but then realised that it actually just gives me time to put together the Cerci Speedway board that popped into my head, all full of racetrack and LED string lights and holographic advertisements. In my head it looks somewhat like this Although no doubt it will end up something closer to this
Dracomax
Thanks for the link - that is going to be a nice set of minis. It seems to be going at a pretty steady pace of $20k each day - 16 days left. @dracomax - do you have a payment account set up through amazon? Yeah. it's the third or fourth thing I've kickstarted. It stopped doing it after a while and I was able to pledge, so it must have been network hiccups.
supercalisto
A friend and I are thinking of going in for the $100 and sharing one faction each. I've got my eyes on the Speed Circuit Faction
Boshea
Those who've already pledge probably know about this, but figure I'll share. Draft rules are now available http://rk.sodapopminiatures.com/ Also a complete gameplay video is up Settled on Black Diamond personally, and likely grabbing any of the SDE minis that become available since can always use more SDE figures. Will be weird playing Black Diamond, almost every crew/army I've ever played has been crazy heavy on melee.
Dracomax
and...I Canceled my pledge. The community on KS convinced me I'd never want to play a game of this ever with any of them.
Keltheos
All of KS or just the RK group?
Dracomax
Just the RK group. The reaction to anyone who wasn't gung-ho for the Super Dungeon Explorer game(which wasn't even the game being kickstarted) was condescending at best, and trollish at worst. In the end, I couldn't justify spending money on a game that I didn't like the community for. I want to actually play games, not just look at neat minis. ---------- Post added at 03:36 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:34 PM ---------- I only contributed $100 in the first place, but really, that's $100 I could put towards upcoming Wyrd Kickstarters and know I'd be able to find cool people to game with.
