Shadowopal
Links erased as there were errors due to my non-techness. Patience is appreciated.
Fetid Strumpet
Interesting. My friend Jim wrench said that he originally thought he was third but there was some error in the points calculation for byes and that knocked him down to 4th as he originally thought he was third. He was still very happy.

He was still very happy. I'll take the blame for that one. I somehow completely missed that they changed how Bye rounds are calculated, and that made a big difference. (Enough to bump Jim to 4th from 3rd.) I'm still pretty embarrassed by the whole thing, but I seriously did not expect Bye calculations to change the way they did 3 months ago. Also, normally I'm able to export results in a nice, BBCode-formatted table... but it seems the new forum software doesn't let me use tables anymore. Sigh. Fetid Strumpet
It wasnt a complaint or criticism. I was just curious as the results for the masters above shows a radically different set of results then what was reported from those at the con. Was just curious as it shows Jim in third when he reported forth and it shows Mike Marshall as 7th when someone reported him as 3rd. Was just curious as to the discrepancy between reporting and the list above. No disparagement intended.
PeregrineFalcon
It looks like Jim did get third based on that document.

Icemyn
I'm assuming Undeclared means we don't know what they were playing? The Factions don't seem to mean anything as I know several of them are wrong.
PeregrineFalcon
The Factions don't seem to mean anything as I know several of them are wrong. That's really too bad. I really wanted to know how the faction breakdown was overall.
PeregrineFalcon
I'm confused thought, these results don't match what is here: http://www.malifauxrankings.com/event/2014/adepticonmasters

PeregrineFalcon
That link looks much closer to correct. But still confused as to where and what the results are overall. No idea which is 'correct' or even 'accurate'.
Shadowopal
This is what happens when everyone rushes for results. Let me look into things. Again.....I am not tech savvy. Mistakes will happen and I am going to be slow to deal with it because I have no idea what I am doing. Patience will be required from everyone. I will take the links down. to avoid further confusion. Nothing to see here.
PeregrineFalcon
But still confused as to where and what the results are overall. No idea which is 'correct' or even 'accurate'. So Mike helped to clarify. The results on the MalifauxRankings represent the results with the updated Bye results. The docs posted here apparently do not. I'm mostly curious on the TP/Diff/VP accuracy as it helps to show the spread of factions.

Guy in Suit
How did two people finish 5-0 with only 33 people completing the event? Bring back single elim!
EnternalVoid
Well I am pretty sure there was more than 33 people from looking at this, it looks like some dropped out thus likely why two were able to go undefeated.
Omenbringer
Only one gremlin player huh? Also how do so many have 0 0 0 as results?
Robble
anyone who didnt compete the 2nd day for some reason gets 0-0-0. I was that gremlin player. I was 2-1-0 with probably a -2 differential.

Anyone not showing the second day was probably entered as a forfeit into the software for tracking, so that would zero out your score.
