  1. Be careful, this is once per activation. It means that you will draw one card for each model that use this ability per turn. If you have Lucius, 2 lawyers and 1 inverstigators. Lucius issue command to lawyer A who obeys the investigator on 1st Ap. Then he issue commande to lawyer B who obeys the investigator on 2nd Ap, you will draw 3 cards. 2 on 1st ap for lawyer A and investigator, and 1 on 2nd AP for lawyer B
  2. A good scheme runner is a model with : _ a good mobility _ a survivability at least average _ either one self push/place/move to disengage without having to use disengage action (leap is the best one, ride with me is good, creep along is better than nothing), or don't mind me _ one action to place/drop schemes There is no model on our faction that can do all this. If we list the models that have a lot of these abilites, we have : _ Nellie and lady Justice on boss _ Nurse heartsbane _ Grimwell _ Pale rider _ Watcher, only if you can have 1 scrap on first turn _ Hunter only if you can have 1 scrap on first turn I must try the nurse. Her self push is not the the best action, but she seems to have a good ratio cost/efficiency. At the moment, Grimwell is my best choice, with an option on pale rider if I know that on turn 2 he will have done his scheming to get back where he is needed on turn 3. Out of Hoffman, you need to buy a trap and kill him to get an efficient wathcer or hunter. Thats seems a little expensive. Other models are : _ Mounted guards. Their only survivability is 7 hp and one replace by a patrol. That's a little weak for an 8 point model _ 3-6 cost minions in keyword (sanctionned spellcasters, hounds, false witness, death marshalls, monster hunters, pistoleros, changelings, frontiersmen, etc...) These models often lacks too many of the points needed to be a good scheme runner. You can not take them and be sure that they will use their interact where you want without dying. They can be used, but you need B plans in case they get killed/engaged _ non insignificant totems. I would advise against the hounds. Every model that can not survive to a focused shot (at least 6 on hp+armor/shield/incorporeal) should not be used as scheme runner, or should not go solo. If you want to scheme run with hounds, you should get 2 or 3 of them. If you do that, you should maybe think to a 7 soustone model with LLC or use Grimwell. The steward seems really also really slow to be used as scheme runner. And if an opponent must sacrifice one of his model to deny you VP by killing the Steward, they should do it. If the lone marshell is engaged, he will not be able to interact on the turn. He seems to be a little leasy to lock for his cost. I see him rather as ascheme runner hunter.
  3. These models only add some pressure to an ennemy team using self bury like Tara. I have never been able to use this as an offensive technique
  4. As long as the 1.0.3 is up soon, it does not really matter
  5. Do you have a plan to add a compatibility on chromebook ?
  6. We also tend to draw deployment/strat/scheme, choose faction and masters the day before playing. This leaves us some time to think about models. When we meet, we usually ask another player to prepare the table. It may change slightly our teams, but it never changed masters.
  7. I believe that we do not have the same players here. When you play in a tournament, you expect that your opponent has how many games of experience on M3E ? I will be in a casual tournament in 10 days, i believe that my opponents' experience is probably beetwen 2 to 5 games on M3E while I play once or twice a week since open beta. If I played against players who has 10+ games of experince, I would totally agree with your point of view.
  8. M3E crew builder 1.0.0 - IOS 12.4.1 When I click on a game link (tried on https://m3e.page.link/n49H and https://m3e.page.link/jA1j ) the games do not appear in custom setups. I have a page from preview.page.link . If I click open on this page, I land on the wyrd website on the app page. Closing and opening the app does not make it appear. This happens both if app is closed or opened If I delete the app. On app reinstal the setup appears, but the previous setups are lost.
  9. I take an example with nellie in my mind. In a casual tournament, i will ask if he knows Nellie and wether he wants a friendly or a hard game. If friendly, I will plan a game on 3 turns to score my points. I will warn him when he gets close to one of the multiples aura of Nellie, or when he plays something that I can counter really easily. During turn 1 and 2, I will also comment on my best counters his moves so that he can choose the best play. This will probably end the game in a tie on turn 3, but that's casual. The good new is on next match against him, I will play hard without any second thought
  10. I disagree with you. To understand a control master, you need more than one game, not just reading the card. That's not like Lady Justice : you read the card, you understand 99% of what she will do. Playing brutally with a control master against someone who could read once the card is below the idea I have of clean play.
  11. I understood : first AP : you kill your model, and put burning on opponents with the demise second AP : you attack burning opponents without cover/conceal to get severe and blast from them
  12. Grimwell is a good flanker. That's a mobile model, with a good threat range. He is not especially though and should not be used to charge in a center brawl. I take him when I need to move in opponent's zone with a good mobile model. He gets much more efficient if you have ways to put staggered on opponents with other models like field reporters, lone marshall, etc... I have only tried the nurse once against a melee heavy crew, she was efficient as scheme runner without shining. I will have to use her again, but I do not think that she is good enough to be used out of demo. I do not have good reasons to use orderlys. They stay in their box and do not see the light.
  13. When someone does not know my crew, I usually try to explain : _ crew strength _ crew defensive ability _ crew average mobility _ crew special ability / synergy For example : Half of the team has an aura in which they control your interacts at 2". they gain focus when you interact at 6". They deal little damage but lots of condition. They defend with or squeal for leader and armor for 1 henchman. They remove very easily schemes. They are very mobile but need scheme markers to stay mobile. Most of the models do not have engagement. Family is a glass cannon team. They move toward your team when they gain focus on concentrate actions. They have a lot of out of activations actions : when one model ends his activation, I can discard to gain an action on a model at 6". They are great at shooting on an average of 12" range. They do not lose damage when engaged. They have some grits to deal more damage or tank a little.
  14. As a french player, I am offended by this game. There is no (not yet ?) cheese eating surrender monkeys in Malifaux.
  15. I try to have 3 models, including Nellie, with the 2" aura to control interacting. This is mostly done with field reporters and undercover reporters. Phiona with LLC is good if you think that the opponent will go on Nellie. Otherwise, she is not efficient enough : a good ook beater is better. I do not like Alison. She is a fragile Nellie. You can not send here in the opponents' team : she'll die way too fast. Far from the opponent, her aura will not be efficient. The undercover is a beast if your opponent plays enough minions. Otherwise, he must start unburied and loses much of its control power. The false witness are really good because of false claim, but they are really fragile. A good opponent will identify them as fragile scoring models and will make them high priority target. 5 def 5hp manipulative makes them an excellent target for a sniper/shooter. If you do not have enough concealment/cover/los blocking on map to get them where you need them, forget them. When I need one, I tend to take 2 to be sure that one survives long enough. The newsie is a 4 soulstone model. It's only use is to force a beater to go out of position to kill it. For out of keyword : I tried once a peacekeeper in a Nellie list. The opponent had a lot of stuff with to attack, but nothing to handle hard to wound or armor. The press moved the peacekeeper 8" forward, the steward dispelled burining and focused it. Then the peacekeeper went through their team without much opposition. If you know that your opponent spends a lot of soullstones to counter the opponent's keyword, Peacekeeper is a good solution. The steward is not really good in this team : you have access to another supply of focus. The pale rider can be used in a Nellie + friends list but in a standard reporter list, I do not like him. You do not have enough damage to use his aura to kill wounded models. You do not have enough threats to prevent your opponent to go through your team and kill him turn 2. I like to use Grimwell +1 field reporter on a flank. Both models are very mobile. The field reporter brings the staggered that Grimwell needs on his attacks. My standard list tends to look like : Nellie + press 2 field reporter 1 undercover reporter Grimwell 1 good beater/shooter the 15 remaining points are used on model to counter opponent or efficient for strats/schemes
  16. Seems like we got carried out of topic here
  17. In the last beta files, the undecover was unique. The horse guys seems more a minion (2) model.
  18. I played her once this week end. I did not summon of the whole because I had better actions that scored or denied VP. Otherwise, I would have summoned 1 stalker turn 3 and one thrall turn 4
  19. The handlers are more a support for other witchling. They have 1 useful action to give burning without los which can be used to prepare Sonnia's blasts. You could maybe bring the 2 as flankers if it is useful on strat/scheme. Otherwise I would rather take a thrall or a versatile / out of keyword model than the second
  20. I am not sure that Phiona will be able to follow Lady Justice. This may be interesting if LJ is in a big pack middle, but it seems really expensive.
  21. The options for scheme running in guild are weaker than in other factions. In marshall keyword, the Lone marshall is excellent to run after scheme runners and scheme. The death marshalls are durable models that can go alone on a side, but they do not have push/move to disengage. On high cost out of keyword, you can try the Pale rider. He tends to ask ques... er scheme first, then kill when he has enough tokens. That's really a great model. The watcher needs a scrap to be efficient. You have to hire a trap to get this in turn 1 to have an efficient wathcer. The mounted guard is a good option, but he is quite expensive for his durability. Field reporters or undercover reporters are also good models. They offer more denial than scheme running, but can also be efficient to put schemes. For the masters, Perdita and Sonnia are both on the same spot. I have nearly no experience with Sonnia, I can not offer advice here.
  22. You should try the steward and pale rider. These two versatile are seen as in most of the lists of guild players at the moment.
  23. Yesterday I had a flank reckoning, Detonate, prisoner, claim jump, harness ley lines, dig their graves. I played LJ vs Yan lo. Game ended on turn 4 with Ten Thunder conceiding final score 3/1 for guild Reckoning 2 / 1 Prisoner 1/0 Harness -/0 Claim 0/- Team : LJ + 8 soulstones Scales Judge LLC Pale rider Domador Steward Effigy + effigy of fate I played agressive and had flips way better than my opponent. LJ jumped in the middle of opponent's team, killing 1 Gokudo with Manos upgrade on turn 1 with the help of the rider, and Sun Quiang turn 2. The team had a lot of sustain with multiple healing, while keeping a good offensive potential. Opponent conceded turn 4 when the rider got back to middle with his pulse. He did not have enough model to score his harness or prisoner on steward. I was ahead on strat on schemes, he could not come back.
  24. Exorcist and lone marshal puts a lot of pressure on summoners, you should try them
  25. For the conversion I believe there was some pictures of the new Dashel model in a convention on the forum. There was maybe a dispatcher around, but I am not sure
