Going to enter a shifting loyalties campaign. I haven't read the book yet (don't have it), but understand we'll be starting with a henchman led group @ 35 stones (but paying the henchman cost) and building from there. Probably gonna start with gremlins... so Trixiebelle, Fingers, or Mancha Roja?
I think I'm leaning Trixie's way, but I really like Mancha Roja as well. Any thoughts on who might do best here?
You're right, it does give him a choice and it's not a bad one. The relent is then considered a tie, so a double negative flip. That's pretty nice if the model being obeyed has a 2/4/6 track. You're preventing him from cheating and likely only facing 2 damage. Cool. Good find!
I don't think so. Chatty just says no interact actions - engaged doesn't come into the equation. Don't Mind Me only eliminates the engaged scenario. Since that doesn't matter Chatty wins and no interact actions are possible.
I wouldn't say that. Francois doesn't always make it in when I'm running Wong or the Brewmaster. I almost always have one slop hauler in there, but rarely two. I haven't been using Trixie at all, but only because I like to have the correct model. I'm very excited about her arrival!
They aren't bad healers for the price. Cast offs gets you the flat 2 point heal that will occasionally get a nice trigger and one they can control with Bravado. Sure it's a (2) but it isn't bad for a 4 point model.
Yeah, cool box and great miniatures. I really want to use the bayou bushwackers. Are they worth two regular gremlins? I'll be picking up the box either way (plus Ulix and Wong).
Seeing all of the new gremlin boxes coming out soon I was looking at bushwackers a bit. What do folks think of them? I really want to like them, but I really don't think they'll quite live up to their cost. I mean, are they really twice as valuable as a bayou gremlin?
Played a game tonight where both my opponent and I drew it in round one and discarded it in round 4. I discovered he had it in round 3 when he cycled the deck with one card held and I think he suspected I was holding as well.
Putting them together right now and I find they look a bit odd on the 40mm bases. It seems a bit big for normal-sized non-melee folks. I'm definitely looking forward to trying them out.
