    As everyone else here... Monty makes me sad. I want to love him... He occasionally does cool things...did 8 damage to a widow weaver with his range noose. However he gas rarely ever actually pushed anyone in(I'm always surprised to read that you can discard to not push. His nimble is nice... He's good for schemes... Above all his giant base makes him great for creeping terror. .. .. but why does he die so easy?? His main mechanic is drag you in to hit range. You either gotta nurse him some armor... Or maybe survivalist. Or maybe just murder weak things. j

    If you don't wanna get the Liberian you could try for a malifaux child. Super cheap , another activation and could provide healing in a pinch.

    I've never seen the model outside of the box. I believe its wyrd standard for sticker that says bonus model. Same as the relic hunters / bayou with Johanna, or the Jack daw with trapper. was super sad that my spirit wasn't translucent... Would of been useful as that.

    I really enjoy betrayer. My jack is usually; writhing torment, betrayer, and three curses. I find betrayer works nicely to keep him alive against tougher targets. I like to use jack to tie up enemies in the later turns. Everything that's still alive by the end of 4 should be tormented.

    giving regeneration in general is a good idea as is the reactivate however.. That first part doesn't work. Fates entwined works on heal flips. Since regeneration isn't a flip there's no entwined.

    it might be true that you've few models....having... 2 waifs.. So you'll start with 7 activations. Unless you're playing someone who is spamming guardsmen or zombies you wont be so bad off. They're all enforcers so those minion targeting schemes are thrown off. The horsemen are all very good models and they're all anchors. The riders are all pretty good at different things. I know usually schemes are picked because they work well together. In the Four Horseman list, you could take radically different schemes are have a good chance of pulling them off. So it'll throw the enemy off. dead rider makes a awesome anchor.

    exactly what JoeJones said. When I started ... I only liked the Viks(they sold me on the faction alone). I hated Jack Daw and Heamlin. I'm now going Jack Daw for my nythera campaign. ..they grow on. You'll start in one and immediately find things to love.

    Hinge, it's nice to hear that you're interested in malifaux. We host at games of Berkeley specifically for malifaux every 2nd and 4th Thursday. If you look at the calendar on the games of Berkeley website you can see specifically when we play. The next day we are playing is September 10th. Mikasa. Sadly we only do the Thursday currently. Weekends are pretty booked. We will eventually do more events when I've more time or when we start getting more regulars. Tournaments and stuff.

    The best thing I've heard about Levi is that he's a faction in himself. With his massive hiring pool he can cover any base. My suggestion is getting the university of transmortis.the students are each good at something and they're great to cover your bases.

    I've used the I'm upgrade a few times. It's pretty great with letting you focus without AP. However, many of the freikorp have things to do with card discard.. Stuff like reference the field guide. So while I appreciated the cards I did feel the lack of cards swiftly. I actually feel like the upgrade might be best once there's a draw trick in play. Maybe sue or a tealor with tally sheet. In conclusion I'd say it's worth it.. But you just really must be careful. Edit; and as mentioned Hannah

    Hmmm this is a scary thought to my wallet but something I do anyway. Guild - new Austringers Arcanist - Gunsmiths (everything else comes in the ironsides / Colette box) Ressers - can't resist the wave 3 so Lizzy Lovelace Neverborn - hmmmm .. Hooded rider just so cool. Gremlins - uh.. Not the biggest fan. So.. Probably rooster riders so I can use just the giant roosters. 10t - the lone swordsman. No question. Outcast - Sue. Really want him already

    Looking at native American snake monster... And the art along with faction symbols... I theorize that native American snake monster is going to be a deck-building/living card/collectible card game. Why is this you ask? Well... With the popularity of netrunner , doomtown: Reloaded , and stuff like dominion added with the doomtown card slip. It seems like a sound business choice and people are probably playing alot of it at the moment. Also with mini production being so expensive they wouldn't make a whole new war game. Which might also rule out NASM the CCG. Hmmm... The would bring NASM the DBG LCG more likely. However going with production and how awesome wyrd is... And their tendency to make awesome standalone games with some expansion....im calling it; . . . . . . The world needs a Native American Snake Monster deck-building game. .. .. Or NASMDBG
