  1. Woah, never heard this before... When did this happen?? I definitely don't think that's RAI and I'd almost argue against RAW due to the wording of then. If it is kosher, then she just became sooo much (more) awesome in my Reva crews! Anyway, an idea I had for Transmortis that is unlikely to happen as you'd have to do every card is turn Studied opponent into a look at your top card on your deck and if it is a non-joker, you may discard it. Otherwise put it back. This on top of some Wd reductions for the Iron Zombies. Wds=cost+Armour+HtK is a bit much.

  3. Yes, but if the enemy model is not engaging the Brawler (as well as whet he wants to hit) then the brawler is not a legal target and the enemy can pummel the target to he's heart's content!
  4. I don't know what brass knuckles you've got, but mine are like 12" long Looks ok, I'll deffo need to see on the table. Almost feel like he needs another bonus... Condor security also seems hard to use against Ml attacks, have to be within 2" of the friend and a scheme and be engaged by the enemy... that's quite the bubble! That said, it should be pretty good against ranged attacks like Ancient Words or Breath of Fire that you can still use up close.
  5. If you spend $400 do you get 2 puppet sprues (& 4 pigapults) or do you only get 1 Puppets sprue? If the latter, that kind of sucks since we want to do a big group order from Australia to save on shipping, but multiple people want the puppets...

  7. I would actually really like to see Plaag face Cadmus. People always say the best way to learn how to counter a crew is to swap. Also, just out of curiousity, how many imes have your opponents faced Cadmus? It's not really that uncommon to get crushed when facing masters for the first few times.

  10. The main place airships are mentioned are The Mountain's straight Reply (ep30, I think) and Zipp's Led Zepplin story Think the framework is made of metal... the Guild generally like the solid materials... Otherwise think the Hindenburg. Look forward to seeing the table!
  11. Wow! Someone thinks Youko is OP... or even good She's by far the worst master and keyword in TT and one of the weaker ones in the game (imo) For Bayou, as someone who plays Zipp (in Outcasts!) I would say Wrastlers, maybe an extra wound and a 1"ml No idea what else... I'd be interested to see how Wong goes into Cadmus actually... Lots of low stats for his Shockwaves...
  12. I hate to go with the old fall back and saviour of the faction, but I reckon Dreamer would be a good pick into ExSo. Exso are fairly weak against Wp, so that's always nice. Against Cadmus, Dreamer has: Removing lots of weaks makes those simple duels a lot easier to pass Can probably out attrition with great summons with armour and Incorp Everything can attack from range to avoid getting in close Chaff models that don't really care about getting parasites Cadmus has lots of low Wp, so Stitched can really shine against Husks & Nests They'll also struggle against Terrifying (Husks excepted) Can attack Df against Nexus Lots of ignore armour for anti Emissary (that attacks Wp to get around Df7) Failing that Pandora might be ok, but Nexus doesn't really have high damage for her and Candy to steal...
  13. Will try to give the video a watch, but IMO looks like you ran into a bad match-up with a bad pool. While I'm definitely not renowned like Kharnage or hugely experienced with Nephilim, I have had a decent few games with and against Cadmus and can safely say that trying to engage them generally ends in tears... My experiences with and against Cadmus is basically this ^ Gunlines = good. Avoidance = decent, but probably not super fun for either player. Cadmus are fairly slow and bubbly, so I would have taken this approach with Nephilim. Sadly, the pool doesn't really allow it. Going in = prepare to become ONE OF US! ONE OF US! I reckon Nephilim are a horrible choice into Cadmus because of this... Lilith maybe with her Hazardous auras, placement tricks and her totem's bow, but not Nekima... One of the best Neverborn models to go into Cadmus (and a lot of the slow Mv Explorers) is Mysterious Emissary. I had a game where I was basically wiped out turn 2 because of his Hungering Land markers' severe terrain and making me Staggered. Had another game facing a Dashel gunline and got slaughtered by mass shooting... wasn't fun! Titania and Pandora would do much better IMO. My 2c back seat malifaux-ing for what it's worth...

  15. Laz almost needs a reverse Grit ability. While ABOVE half health he can take the gun action rather than BELOW And yeah... Drachen can use a buff. The pyre dropping trigger doesn't work. You need 3 Burning BEFORE the attack... so you need 2 hits before the third one? with a non-suited trigger? He's slow too... in the fluff it's stated that these guys are a bit unhinged as they go charging into battle... The other problem is that he's outshone by the Rocket launcher which does the same thing minus burning. Some ideas Rush (with run and gun maybe?) or Creep along & +1 Mv Quick shot trigger on knife Ignore Concealing & Cover (it's a flamethrower! The main use of them was that they ignored terrain) Built in change the Pyre dropping trigger to needing 3 burning AFTER hitting or just a new to turn blasts into Pyres (Really like this one actually!)
  16. Firstly, she's a gunsmith because she makes (smiths if you will) guns... they're not going to call her a cabinet maker Secondly, her card is outcasts Thirdly, I just got into Outcasts, so all my crossed fingers are making her stay that way (as well as making it really hard to type!)

  18. yeah, I realised that the above is basically living the dream... but gotta aim for something! At least most of the TNs are low enough that hopefully I'll flip a some of them (although I am often cursed with TNs... need a 5, flip a 4!). So what are you guys generally doing first turn with Schill? Handing out Rocket launchers and blowing them away? Or is there not really a playbook (I'm imagining there's a few different approaches) for Schill and you just have to get reps in to realise what is needed when?
  19. Hey guys, I'm getting into the Schill-ster and was wondering what the current thoughts on upgrades/first turn set-up looked like. The list I was thinking was Schill, Trunky, Hannah, Arik, Drachen, Librarian, Engineer, Freikorpsmann/Scout First turn, I was thinking something like (activation order depends on hand, what's on the discard pile for engineer, deployment and enemy): Steam Trunk gives Freikorpsmann/Scout Rocket launcher Von Schill gives Drachentrooper Rocket boots (preferably with trigger to take action) Arik Rocket boots (preferably with trigger to give Hannah Shield) Von Schill walks and bonus focuses Drachen hopefully gets a focused shot on something Hannah copies leap & hopefully charges Arik leaps and hopefully charges Engineer cycles cards, walks & focuses Freikorpsman/Scout rockets someone Librarian heals/walks/draws cards (through attacking probably Arik), moves someone up Am I being too wishful thinking here?

Lady J is still Stat 6, and is therefore unequivocally, anecdotally rubbish Seriously, I love these changes and agree that the problem is not Lady J herself (she was the first master to break the 15ss master-cost in beta), but her keyword and the weaknesses within. The only other change I'd still like to see is for Recruiters to actually work with Death Marshals rather than being a better take OOK (I'm looking at you Guard!) Maybe summon DM off Corpse Markers? Advanced training (+1 stat for DM attacks within arua 6)?

  22. I had a game where Mordrake Claimed by Shadows my poor Titania and then Eva Locked it away... bye bye master activation that turn... Sad days for Neverborn with basically no ranged marker removal... It was basically living the dream for him, top decked both a high Tomes, then high Crows 😱
  23. Throughout the playtest (at least my group), we played it as no go for passing the buck with fully healed models and mentioned this several times. Since it wasn't changed, my interpretation is that you can't chain We Are Legion with fully healed models
  24. Agree with everything @Alcathous said. You can't heal if you are full health. There is also a distinction on the cards between would heal and heal. If it says heals, then you have to actually heal... ie. if you are at full wounds, the heal is ignored and the effect isn't triggered. If it says would heal then it doesn't matter if you are at full wounds or not. Looking at Jedza's card. Chronicle wouldn't trigger if the target is at full wounds, but Inevitability of Death would. You also cannot pass healing along through Cadmus models that are at full health.
