Practiced production and doves is what I usually use to do marker schemes outside of plant explosives. Mannequins don't really impress me. They're a very niche model.

Thanks! Glad you liked my Killjoy Spent some extra time on that mini compared to the other undead. Here's a hastily (crappy) taken picture of the reinforcements I painted up for a tournament recently. I posted it on facebook at the time but forgot to post it here. Chiaki was a lot of fun to paint. I like the Necropunks too. Toshiro and the Shikome aren't exactly my favourite models. In the end I didn't even use Toshiro or Chiaki, but the Shikome and Necropunks were used

I tend to use langston, cassandra, acolytes, joss, silent one, a performer (sometimes two), sometimes mech rider. And summon doves. Never use mannequins. Always taking duet and langston and cassandra is a mistake. Adjust to strats and schemes.

Well I would reach for Kang almost immediately As has been said, Mei's crew is certainly a good pick. I would look for models with high weak dg because of hard to wound.

Not sure if it should be a master upgrade, but I want an upgrade that gives Sabertooth Cerberus a mask trigger on its Maul attack that ends its activation and gives it Manipulative 13. "Roll on to back, wave your paws and look like a huge adorable kitten"

Thanks! If you turn Killjoy upside down, he kind of smiles. Kind of. I spent some extra time on Killjoy because he was so much fun to paint. Considering he's magnetised to the base and will probably pop up in a lot of different crews it's extra important to look nice and proper, right? Smiley grin Well he's a merc but he's also undead so I figured I would upload the pics in this gallery. Somehow I get the song "here comes kitty cat, here comes kitty cat, tumbling through the snow" playing in my head when I look at Killjoy. Gore and rust is a lot of fun to paint.

Thanks Zfiend and Moondog! Hehe I will try and change your opinion on the band then I have a metal Shikome lying around. Pretty ugly model, not sure I could change someones opinion on that one haha. We'll see when I get around to Toshiro. Killjoy is the next model to be painted since he's undercoated. Then we'll see. I snapped a quick group shot btw, cause I like group shots

Thanks! I'm powering through it rather fast considering I'm outside bathing and running around a bunch and doing lots of other stuff too It's getting pretty big. The resser stuff I still have left to paint is: Shikome (metal) McM (metal) Izamu Sebastian (metal) 3 Necropunks (plastic) Bete Noire (red plastic) Toshiro Sloth I will probably fix some mindless zombies and maybe a Dead Doxy too, and possibly buy the Molly box sometime, but my goal is to have most of the stuff above (and maybe Killjoy) done for a tournament in late september It will be my first tournament as ressers. After that I'll focus on high quality paint jobs on Dark Carnival and Crossroads 7.

Slapped some paint on more stuff! Metal Dead Rider and Ashigaru were horrible to build, but the rogue necromancy and dead rider were great fun to paint

Thanks Zfiend! I read your newbie guide on Nicodem t'was nice! It's the plastic rogue. Also have the ashigaru undercoated. Dunno why I didn't buy the whole Yan Lo box since having Chiaki would have been nice.

I did some more time effective painting for the crew So here's Carver an a 40mm Works well as a fleshie imo. And then Sybele, a Crooligan, Zombie Chihuahua and a Grave Spirit that really doesn't like chihuahuas. Group shot Next up is the Rogue Necromancy
