So kind of feel the urge to try something new and looking to give Lynch a try. I've never seen him in play and just wondering if anyone has a few tips and tricks and starting ideas? To be fair I can't think of any summons off hand in this game that go off on a low card. With do it like dis Somer doesn't need the suit and with bayou 2 card and encouragement shouldn't be too hard to get to a straight flip to get the moderate and the summon does have a nice pay off.

The supply wagon is a ht3 50mm blocking base, in my experience it isn't too hard to get at least 1 push on the wagon using it to block Los to fingers.

My best guess would be acting model acts first (just based on the general timing rules)

Just curious how does Mortimer help Molly compared to Sybelle making hey move a lot faster (or not needing to use AP for moving)? I figured a dead doxy or kentauoi could be a Sybelle replacement

Way my group plays this is the acting model picks one at a time who they are disengaging from. The opponent can then decide if they will make a disengaging strike or not with that model. Only way to escape is if the acting model successfully disengages from everyone that takes a disengaging strike

Impossible to Wound I would argue is a more specific rule than Flay and that interaction makes sense. Imo the flay ruling is a favour to Nellie. Flay lets you cheat the damage flip regardless of modifiers against any models if you have the trigger. Impossible to wound gives you a to the damage flip and prevents you cheating damage against that model. Impossible to wound is more specific so trumps flay Ulix ability still doesn't let you use Mi if the model is prevented from doing so, it just lets you take one. Nellie's ability specifically says she can cheat damage flips against her which is creating the conflict.

I don't have my rulebook on me, but it does mention in the rules that if there is a conflict the more specific rule wins. Game your life: You can't cheat damage for that action, but it works the same against every model Revisionist History: Lets only this model cheat the damage flips against her, but it works against everything (and trumps the rules regarding Jokers and flips). Personally in regards to the damage track of this ability I feel Nellie's ability is the more specific between the 2 and would say it trumps the can't cheat damage clause on Gamble your Life. Though I agree it is a toss up and end of the day it will come down to the individual TO as imo there is no way to definitely say one way or the other which ability is stronger. Ulix interaction is completely different. His ability lets the Pig take a Mi action, Upper prevents the pig to only take walk and interact actions. Nothing in prod says you can't take the action regardless if it is blocked or not.

I think she can cheat it. Her ability is more specific letting her cheat damage flips against her (regardless of joker's and ) than the stitches more generic the damage flip can't be cheated.

Personally I would rather see Somer nerfed in the damage department than the support and manipulation department. Nerfing his damage will help differentiate him and Ophelia imo. Also I'm really not too sure how many masters survival of the fittest would really help. Ophelia: Is already upgrade hungry and not sure she could really fit it in Wong: Do Over imo is better for Wong. Also getting upgrade card slot hungry Mah: It would work for her, but I find she tends to be more of a flanker or few models can really keep up with her. Though would work nicely with Do it Right! Zipp: I don't think he is ever really around enough Gremlins to make use of this ability Brewmaster: I guess could work. I don't play Brewmaster enough to really comment Ulix: Tends to be more pig heavy

In 1e he was restricted on which factions could hire him iirc (possible just any faction which didn't include a 10 thunders model). I don't feel there is anything that makes him more a Merc than a gremlin. That seems really bad game design imo to have a model in a faction which is meant to be played more by other factions.

Just to go back on topic, offensive purging of strategy conditions I feel is going be a very big part of GG18. If you can out activate your opponent and remove their strategy conditions you can get easy VP

Well I'm going be eliminated this round of Iron Painter. Will see if can get a better picture of Nekima but at the very least done 16SS this month.
