  2. Hey Undisclosed. Is this still valid? Cheers, Gru6y
  3. That is a mighty cool golem. As always, the basing is exquisite and the blends flow perfectly. Will also try to paint up a crew (The Valedictorian and her merry lot) for the competition, so see you there! Don't know if you remember, but this is not the first time we would take part in the same painting competition
  4. I think the 1ed Nekima was the model that spawned the most controversy of all metal miniatures produced by Wyrd. People complained about how difficult it is to assemble, how hard it is to transport and how wobly it is on tt. I believe, Wyrd wanted to address this and actually, you know, make people happy, by scaling the model down so that it is easier to handle. When I first saw the scale shot, I thought 'Well, isn't that what most of you people wanted anyway?' I, BTW, also think she is too small, and worse sculpt overall than the first one, but that's mainly because I simply really like the old model and it fits my expectations of a wicked warrior/daemon lady pretty much, spot on.
  5. Oh, these are really nice. Will probably be getting it.
  6. Personally, I do not mind the price (I understand the reason behind it being so expensive) and I understand why Wyrd decided to make her significantly smaller (especially after the negative feedback the old model got). I am, however in the 'waaay too small' camp. The old model is very threatening and rightfully so, given the 1.5e statline. Even thought the stats have been 'cuddled' a bit to better suit the M2e meta, Nekima is still a beatstick most other models would not like to be 3" away from. Because of that, I believe she should be more imposing to add the psychological factor and make your opponent look at her and think 'That's one 12' tall vicious bitch charging my guys. How am I going to tackle that?' Anyway, smaller standard model gives us more chance for a massive nightmare version.
  7. W0000000000000t, you are THE MAN. I was just discussing with my group a plan to design some of these to order with a fellow laser-cutter. You have just basically solved our problem. And for free? Lots of respect! Thanks a lot, gru6y
  8. Are these supplied pre-painted? EDIT: Nevermind, just checked an unboxing video on youtube.
  9. Thanks for your reply Aaron. This is all actually great news. I am really happy that Wyrd is doing so good. Sell more stuff, release more stuff, continue to produce the best TT game in the world. Peace.
  10. I've read about the short deadline and kind of was expecting it to be the reason, thanks for your reply. I really cannot stress enough how astonished I am by this diorama. I have been looking at it at work, on my mobile while commuting, now back at home. The way you handle colour is beyond anything I have ever seen in miniature painting. Respect. Lots of it.
  11. My old Nekima just arrived and I guess I got what I deserved for by complaining about the new model. It arrived with two left wings.
  12. Only just found my way to this thread. I have to say, the above is the single most beautiful piece of miniature painting I have ever seen in my life (and I have been in the hobby for almost two decades now). Absolutely stunning. I am slightly confused with the round shadow under what looks like square base of the lantern, but other than this, the style, the technique and the overall feel of the scene is jaw-dropping amazing. You, good sir, are my hero from now on.
  13. Just painted a lilith box. The rest of the year was dominated by wfb though. Managed to paint 2000 points of skaven, which is around 200 models. Apart from that, some random 40k stuff. Probably the most fruitful year hobbywise ever. Next year is all about M2e.
  14. As in the title. Preferably sealed, but any condition (as long as the models are not damaged) will do.
