It was interesting to see the gremlins so high up. Loads of outcasts were around but fell away in the end. I faced them in 5 of my 7 games

As said Lucas is on Gremlins. Jamie plays Rezers, think you're confusing him with his team mate Matt Lewin who won best Guild.
Grez90
After finally getting over post tournament drain I'd love to give my feedback on the event overall. Having been to a lot of faux tournaments and a lot of big 100+ Fantasy tournaments I was keen to see how the first Huge Malifaux tournament would fare and I've got to say thatnks to the organisation of Mike, Jen, Matt, Lee, Dave etc. I was left extremely impressed. Sign up was very well organised, we arrived early and went through the process in a matter of minutes so no complaints there. I played all my games upstairs so regarding the heat/noise issue, yes it was a bit hot (don't think it was uncomfortable) but I cannot make comparisons with playing downstairs (seemed fine when I was eating down there). On the noise I think one of the main culprits for this could of been the queue system for handing in results. I played nearly all of my games on the balcony tables and whenever a small queue formed and people obviously socialised this made it very difficult for people on those tables to carry on playing or resolve thier games. My only suggestion would be to reverse the stairs up/down and have the queue form up from behind where Mike was sitting. Regarding Mike's love of Microphones, personally yes it can be distracting, but I think asking Mike to not have his little bits of banter when hes consistently calling out round times and at a laptop inputting results all day might drive him mad, and considering this is only for 10/20 seconds this shouldn't be an issue in a 2 hour game. The draws were a bit shaky to begin with but absolutely fine for the most part, having to organise 60+ tables and give everyone the information in a timely manner is a hard task and with the tools at your working disposal I thought you handled it magnificently. Location, food and drinks were all amazing endless tea all day makes SQUIGS happy and you can't bemoan the speed at which we got our food when it was here which left plenty of time for socialising/eating (compared to previous big Fantasy tournaments I've been to where you were left queueing for 15/20mins on some occasions). I did have reservations that the amount of people in that event might cause some extreme over crowding however I was gladly proved wrong and I felt that there was enough room between tables to get by people sat down without having to interupt them. Regarding rules pack and gameplay itself, I had my bug bears with the trinity rules but its not something that would put me off an event, just adapt to it, and regarding my 7 games I played a lot of new people that I hadn't played before and had one of the best events I've had in a longtime and hopefully my 7 opponents had as much fun as i did (Luke, Keith, Joe, Martin, James, Zak & Alex). Mike I'm very glad you're going to be running it again next year, and with a few minor tweaks to the location (the carpeting you've already mentioned etc.) and banning Joel from the next one (seriously.....please do something about him....taking that 3rd place trophy with a bunch of pianos is not big or funny) I think it will be continually getting bigger and better!! Roll on 2017.

maca1066
Great weekend, 7 great games against 7 great opponents. Will be trying to get a ticket for next year for sure. thanks mike for running a great event.
Clousseau
With reference to the comments about the mezzanine, we ran Haul of Eggs up there with 36 players without any concerns so probably a combination of moving up to 52 players and maybe the queueing mentioned by Grez90. This also accounts for the reduction in space. Fabric in the roof can only help.

Not give them daft names (Honestly, I'm far far far less bothered by it than my responses indicate. I just like shrieking at Spooner.)
