  2. hi all i've had a few questions regarding game length. due to nature of vassal im aware games might take longer than the standard 2 hours so im not imposing a strict time limit at this point, however i do ask all players to play with time in mind, and not to deliberately slow play ideally games should be done within 3 hours at tops 4 hours and if games are taking longer than this then i may have to look at imposing time limits. if deliberate slow play is a thing, points docking or player elimination may be brought in. also regarding rules questions where possible players should resolve the rules themselves, if not i'm happy to act as judge but be aware there maybe a delay due to time zones availability of myself there for where possible using myself should be a last resort due to the delay

  6. Seems like a good possibility but I tend to use kaeris quite spread out so wouldn't get full benefit from his bubble. Prob More of a counter pick to Parker/perdita eta rathat than an auto pick

  9. Well you take them for different reasons. Manos and the rider are mobile killing mashine. The Golem is an almost unkilllable tank. Sadly even in gg1 he's not that useful, was great in beta version of recover evidence (when you only dropped it when you died)
  10. He's more survivable than either of manos or rider. Without anti demise he is almost unkilllable
  11. yer they are so useful especially in sandeeps prefered stratergy of leylines where the pushes to counter the enemy knocking your leyline carriers off the markers is realy helpful
  12. Hi all just to make you aware the scheme pools for the rounds are now up on the opening post there is a new module to be released in the near future with updated maps so don't worry if they map names don't match your current module
  13. generaly for magical training its SVGs and ox mages in sandeep crews if im taking the emmy and have the points spare i usually put either diesel engine for the concealment and charge damage, or magic training so its a tankyness becomes a resource drain between its free action and counterspell i've yet to realy put SSC anywhere in sandeep crews, did at one stage put it on banasuva to stop him dying to a stiff breze but its just a drain of stones then

  17. i don't think you need the metal gamin/golem, its generaly the one i dont then to use as often (unless for some reason i need the double posative to hit from the built in and focus for some reason?) the rider and the effy/emmy would be my next buys, the rider just gives mobility and extra card draw, while the emmy is just a big fat beater that doesn't scream "hit me with armour perising/dispel magic" like your golems do
  18. i've been taking a SVG more and more in the last games ive played and super impressed with him, the little pushes he gives to the crew are great and its a bit more suplimental card draw to the crew. added on to the fact he has a decent damage out put (regardless of if you play ricohet as per faq or not) and is fairly tanky and is also a good magical training carrier from there it depends on the mission and the opponent. i tend to take sandeep in leylines so the rider comes in as its great as a ball carryer and giving your models extra activations, two gamin who aim to become a golem turn 1, although i might take the golem right off the bat if expecting exorcism triggers ect. if your playing symbols with him alternativly you might find wind gamin are good hires to go get the markers or it might be you want to bring a tech pick or something for the scheme pool out of keyword say
  19. Kaeris still is a fairly mobile skirmish crew perticularly excelling at symbols in my opinion though could do public enemies as well I guess
  20. or you could just bring models that ignore terrain, either unimpided or incorprial or have flying ect titania crews and the like about there markers being realy hard to get rid of outside of a few abilities/triggers if you were to take that away from them then they would have to gain something elsewhere

The thing to watch out for vs dreamer is a lot of his attacks ignore armour and incoporial so don't rely on them to save damage, certainly going agreesive is good to reduce your opponents chance of doing a lot of lucid dreams before going with scary stuff while punishing his hand is also a good idea as he has little card draw generally (though you might have 2 days dreams with the draw a card upgrade that needed taking down ASAP)
  22. hi all just a quick post to show things are still happening behind the scenes i'm in the process currently of securing prize support for the event and organising broadcasting of games, however once this is all sorted hopefully by the middle of this month then the players pack including scheme pools will be released with the intent to start the event the first week of july stay safe during this diffucult time!
