  1. I wouldn't change one bonus action for another, but would add a new action. Create Trap cannot be done when engaged.
  2. They use to play advanced and isolated. Their stats are not bad, but they use to die fast and easy. They are really hard to play, not sure what to do with them. EDIT: I've thinking about they could become really good if they have Create Trap with in-built Reposition trigger. That way they would become more mobile (not too much, but better than now) and would gain an interesting new disruption role in half table. They would become a bit more hard to kill in close combat also. What do you think? They could even recover they old name (Trapper xD)

Freikorps Von Schill - 4ss Steam Trunk Hannah Lovelace Arik Schottemer Drachen Trooper Freikorps Librarian Freikorps Scout Freikorpsmann A lot of of scheme marker schemes, and probably my list was not the bestbuild (picked Dig their Graves and Search the Ruins), but I wanted to play full painted, and to refresh the game. Played versus Ophelia Lacroix (all in-keyword) and the game lasted only two and half turns due to the shop closing. The game was quite smoothly. The first turn was almost exclusively positioning and focusing (after spending one SS, mi best card in hand was a 4, so lots of Shouthing Orders). In the second turn I pushed one Idol and covered the way to it with Minefields; and killed two Bayou Gremlins with a rocket. Kin had very poor flips, and did little damage when attacking. In the third round I killed Pere Ravage, and let Merris at 2 wd and Francois at 1 wd to die, probably were gonna be both killed by the Scout and Hannah was gonna push a second Idol, with the Freikorpsmann dropping the second marker for Search the ruins, so easy 4 - 1 (mi opponent scored Search the Ruins on the second turn).
  4. And what could do players from Europe? I'm not at all with purchasing directly from wyrd's store, since I don't know if they ship to my country, how much could cost that and if I would have to pay extra taxes, but here is impossible to find the Outcast deck (or any other deck).
  5. Yeah, Scouts are hard to make them worth, and really not sure what they role should be. Maybe "Draw out Secrets" on ther gun would make of them good scheme runners, or some kind of movement trick, but the real problem I've found with them if to keep them alive long enough. One fun option would be to give them the "Create Trap" tactical bonus action and see them disrupt the middle of the field. (This would make them a little bit extra difficult to reach and engage, and would help a little with their survivability)

A model can never choose to suffer damage this way if that damage would reduce their health to 0 or below" "Look at the top three cards of the model's fate deck, discard any number of them, and place the remaining cards back on top of the deck in any order. This model suffers 1 damage for discarded card." Not sure, but wording don't allow Leveticus to choose damage, but cards, and damage is a consequence of the action. It could be doable.

  8. Glad to see Leveticus doing such a good performance all in keyword. It would be great to read at least a short resume of each match, what gone good and wrong, which model proved most useful in each, erc... I love battle reports xD
  9. I disagree, but if you're using them and they're doing a good job for you, congrats. That's not my experience with them. I've not played them too often, but every time I've hired them, I've regret and they have struggled badly to do anything useful.
  10. You are giving as a fact that DM suceeds on 6 attacks, and that one Ronin misses 2, because they ignore armor and also has flurry, so one ronin does 6 damage her alone, more with a ram. I would not consider 1 point of damage long range pressure.
  11. 4ss for an attack with stat 5 that is gonna do 1 point of damage the most of the time? Hans costs as 2 Desperate Mercenaries and does reliably more damage than them. And I not even like Hans.

Release the Kraken xD - Chief Engineer (henchman) good focused ranged damage (no more blasts/shockwaves) like Aeteric Gatling Gun 2/4/6 with Rapid Fire/Onslaught/both, maybe puncture, armor piercing... then supporting actions, like Welding Torch (can heal every non-minion Freikorps) with supporting triggers like Preparations, Burn Out (only friendly) or give shielded. Also a support bonus action, like providing Focus in a pulse, or concealing aura, or some trick. - Sergeant/Officer (Henchman) basically a support controller. With average attacks (although they could have some kind of Coordinated Attack/Shot) and support effects, mostly on the movement side (pushes, only-friendly-obeys, etc) - The Lone Scout (enforcer) a scout with Execute on the rifle, bonus action to drop Pit Traps, and some kind of forage, like drawing cards from markers, or that kind of stuff. - Assault Korps (minion) a Sawed-Off Shotgun with a Bayonet, and an Assault Shield, a minion model to go face to face. Some in-built (or not) defense trigger to reduce their protection ("inmediately, this model gains shielded +1"?) And the option (trigger) of stab+shoot.
  13. I would say any tough crew. Ironically, in this edition Mercenary (and viks) struggles versus armored crews.
  14. This. I doubt you find players doing this in casual games, because they would run out of opponents soon. And in tournaments there should be a judge avoiding players to bend/break the rules in their favor. Always remembering that the rule says "no additional beneficial effects", so the judges have rules to keep their ground.
  15. Another thing. Triggers without an specific time, (like Quick Draw) are considered as "after succeeding", so if Convict Gunslinger/Ophelia Lacroix loose their defense duel, their trigger does not happen.
  16. This is sad. It's hard for me to find battle reports, looks like anybody post them here, and YouTubers usually don't put subtitles in their videos (while I can speak English, many times is really hard to keep track of everything spoken in casual conversation speed).
  17. Steam Trunk should kill Fire Gamins and golems with its Fire Extinguiser. And Pyre markers too xD
  18. Don't forget that Drachen Trooper also likes to shoot staggered enemies, since his Flamethrower also targets movement.
  19. I would say. Mercenary crew is mostly a close combat one, they really hard their own brawlers, so they really don't need Barbaros, but they really don't have many shenanigans and you could perfectly add Barbaros to the list and it would not suffer for it. He's a bit tougher than any other mercenary, and the "Challenge" can help other models. Same with Freikorps. The only thing that Barbaros would not enjoy would be "Shouting Orders" and he could be not be attached with upgrades, but Freikorps shooters would indeed enjoy a tough model with challenge. Bandits would benefit from Barbaros the same than Freikorps. He would not be dropping enemy scheme markers, but he also would not be discarding them, and Barbaros could help a lot attracting enemy beaters and keeping safe the more squishy Bandits. Plague indeed lacks brawlers, but they really don't need them. Could be funny having a pair of rats and Barbaros near an enemy and doing two "Pustulent Tumours", triggering twice "Black Blood" nearthe enemy (6 damage and 2 blight easy). I would not hire Barbaros in any other Outcast crew, I think they depend more on intern shenanigans (although I think the same about Plague, anyways. The most useful option I think that is go for a Nephilim crew with Barbaros as leader. Few people is gonna be ready for this.
  20. Sadly, this is their profile, and it won't change. In the beta, I suggested many times that they felt underwhelming, but they keep their "no-role" profile. To be honest, I suggested a lot of things, so maybe I fall in the criers blacklist xD
  21. Not sure if Sniper would fix that model. I've played at least one (and mostly a couple) in every game, although I've never have had the feeling that they were worth the hiring. I think they should have some kind of improvement in mobility/scheming, since that seems tonhe their role now, and they really don't succeed as should a 6ss scheme runner (because they are obviously not a gunner).
